The prduct is intended t address ut f the bx accessibility issues f the Micrsft SharePint framewrk t make it cmpliant with cmpliance rules. Installing AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr The AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr Installatin Wizard is available t guide yu thrugh the installatin prcess. By fllwing the steps belw, yu can activate AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr features n yur envirnment. T run the Installatin Wizard and cmplete the installatin successfully, the user perfrming the installatin must be a member f the Lcal Administratrs Grup and the SharePint Farm Administratrs Grup. T install AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr n SharePint Web frnt-end server, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. Dwnlad the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr ZIP file by cntacting an AvePint representative fr links t the package. 2. Unzip the package and navigate t the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr directry. 3. Duble-click the Setup.exe file. The AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr Installatin Wizard Welcme page appears. Click Next. 4. Carefully review the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr License Agreement. After yu have read the agreement, check the I accept the terms in the license agreement checkbx. Click Next. 5. Click Brwse t specify the lcatin fr the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr installatin. By default, the installatin lcatin is C:\Prgram Files\AvePint. Click Next. 6. Please wait while installing AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr. When the installatin cmpletes, click Finish t exit the Wizard. Navigate t SharePint Central Administratin t apply the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr license after yu have deplyed the Accessibility Acceleratr slutin. Installing the Slutin T install AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr slutin, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. Navigate t the directry where the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr files live. Find AccessibilityAdapterInstallSlutin.ps1 in the directry f AvePint\AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr\bin\Slutin. Figure 1: Find the AccessibilityAdapterInstallSlutin.ps1 file. 2. On SharePint 2010 servers, navigate t Start > Micrsft SharePint 2010 Prducts > SharePint 2010 Management Shell. Open SharePint 2010 Management Shell and select Run as Administratr. On SharePint 2013 servers, navigate t Start > Micrsft SharePint 2013 Prducts > SharePint 2013 Management Shell. Open SharePint 2013 Management Shell and select Run as Administratr. 3. In the SharePint 2010 Management Shell r SharePint 2013 Management Shell interface, enter the directry f the slutin file AccessibilityAdapterInstallSlutin.ps1. Deplying the Slutin T deply the slutin, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. In SharePint, navigate t Central Administratin > System Settings > Manage farm slutins. 2. Select the sp2010accessibilityadapter.wsp slutin in SharePint 2010 farm r sp2013accessibilityadapter.wsp slutin in SharePint 2013 farm frm the list f farm slutins. 3. Click the Deply Slutin link at the tp f the page. 4. In the Deply Slutin page, select the Web applicatin that yu want t deply this slutin t. Applying the License Custmers are prvided with access t apply and manage the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr license n SharePint Central Administratin. Yu need t brwse t the license that yu have purchased t apply after deplying the slutins. After yu have installed and deplyed the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr slutin, the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr Settings field is available t cnfigure in the SharePint Central Administratin. T apply the license, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. Navigate t Central Administratin > AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr Settings > License Management t g t the License Management page. 2. Click Brwse in the Apply License sectin t select a new license file frm the lcal destinatin where yur AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr license is stred. 3. Click Apply t apply the selected license file. Yu will receive a message that yu Successfully applied the license. Yu can view infrmatin abut the current license n the current windw. Navigate t Central Administratin > AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr Settings > Publishing Overrides Management t g t the Publishing Overrides Management page. 2. Brwse the HtmlFixCnfig.txt file frm the fllwing directry t apply the publishing verrides cnfiguratins t the whle farm. Fr SharePint 2010, the directry is C:\Prgram Files\Cmmn Files\Micrsft Shared\Web Server Extensins\14\TEMPLATE\FEATURES\AccessibilityAdapterFrSharePint2010HttpMdule. Fr SharePint 2013, the directry is C:\Prgram Files\Cmmn Files\Micrsft Shared\Web Server Extensins\14\TEMPLATE\FEATURES\AAASP2013HttpMdule. *Nte: Please make sure that the file yu brwsed t is named HtmlFixCnfig.txt. T cnfigure the HtmlFixCnfig.txt file, refer t the fllwing instructins: SEPARATOR Keep this setting as the first line in the text file by default. Specify a separatr that yu are abut t use in the later cnfiguratins. Yu can specify any separatr, such as, r ;. By default, is set t be the separatr. Uninstalling AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr If yu want t uninstall the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr, first deactivate all f the features that yu have activated. Refer t Using the Feature Activatin Tl fr mre infrmatin n hw t deactivate the features. Befre yu deactivate the Accessibility Adapter fr SharePint 2010 r Accessibility Adapter fr SharePint 2013 feature fr the Master Page functin, yu need t manually change the applied AvePint master pages back t the riginal pages. T uninstall AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. Open the Start menu in the Windws n the SharePint Web frnt-end server, and navigate t All Prgrams > AvePint > Accessibility Acceleratr Uninstall. 2. Click Accessibility Acceleratr Uninstall t enter the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr Uninstallatin Wizard Welcme page. 3. Click Next t uninstall the AvePint Accessibility Acceleratr. 4.
