A comprehensive feature set caters to the diversified needs of different users ranging from conference rooms including Astimax LiveConference or ACD features for call centres up to Astimax VCC the integration of webrtc providing new means for video and audio communication. Mass deployment of user devices including auto-provisioning is just as effortless as integration of mobile phones. In addition Astimax systems offer comfortable and user-friendly interfaces for both administrators and users. An online manual and extensive tooltips help with setup and maintenance of your Astimax. The Astimax IP series is designed for modern all-ip connections. Thus providing future-proof investment protection for your business. Unified Communication Astimax systems contain various modules for unified communication. Fax2mail ensures that incoming faxes are delivered by email with attached PDF file. Likewise you can email PDF files to any fax line with mail2fax. Take one more step towards the paperless office and become more eco-friendly. Voicemail is a convenient way to leave messages. You will get an email message for every missed call and optionally an attached audio file with the recorded message. Furthermore presence information facilitates everyday work and video telephony enhances personal contact. With email alerts for missed calls users can keep track of their call a feature especially interesting for sales representatives. Astimax VCC Communication via webrtc introduces a whole new range of possibilities. Be it attending a teleconference or establishing a voice connection to your company, all of it is possible with just a single click in your browser. Provide a link to your personal Astimax VCC in your email signature. All the caller needs to do is click on the link and thereby establish an audio connection to your office extension. Astimax handles calls via VCC just like any other calls. All call features like parking, transferring, toggling, and routing are available. WebRTC is indispensible especially for service companies or online shops. It offers a simple way for communication without media discontinuity. Integrated multi-level IVR (interactive voice response) IVRs offer a variety of different uses. E.g. prompt your callers to choose between different options regarding calling destination. The preferred option is selected by pressing the corresponding number on the telephone. Furthermore create VIP support hotlines that are PIN protected, e.g. for after-hour support. Only callers entering a valid PIN will be transferred to VIP support. Astimax ACD Astimax ACD helps you to benefit from features that are usually only found in call centre applications. Optimize your telephony processes with the numerous features of Astimax ACD. For example, define different calling patterns, limit the number of calls waiting, or prioritize VIP callers. Use the integrated IVR module to identify and segment callers and enhance customer experience. With the professional Astimax ACD solution, you can easily manage your calls and improve availability and efficiency of your business. Astimax ACD Reports Astimax ACD Reports dispatches reports for call evaluation via email, on an either monthly, weekly or daily basis. Reports contain an analysis of call queue availability including a breakdown of the reasons for non-availability. Reports are available as PDF or CSV files. Astimax ACD Statistics Astimax ACD Statistics is the basis for individual call evaluation. Different call parameters such as latency or call duration with maximum, minimum and average values can be displayed graphically by using data filters. Analyses can be created for separate call queues or cumulated across all call queues. Astimax ACD Monitor Astimax ACD Monitor facilitates the day to day management of call queues. With the real-time status breakdown you are able to identify bottlenecks and eliminate them as soon as they occur. 1

Astimax ACD SiMo Astimax SiMo or silent monitoring is an effective method for training call centre agents. Three different types are available: listening in to a call, whispering to the agent, i.e. only the agent hears what is said, or participation in the dialogue. Authorization for silent monitoring can be set with Astimax Admin by the system s administrator. Astimax ACD Recording Record a pre-defined percentage of incoming call queues and use those records for managing call centre quality. Individual conference rooms Every Astimax system is equipped with virtual conference rooms. A conference room is set up like any extension and assigned its own extension number. All conferences can be PIN protected. Multiple options ensure comfortable conference management like the Astimax LiveConference tool. Astimax LiveConference helps the conference moderator to quickly see who is speaking and who is listening. Participants can be assigned listener status during an ongoing conference or excluded from the conference altogether. In combination with IDAS conference call it is possible to start ad-hoc conferences for instance to handle escalation management. Available in multiple languages international teleconference are no longer a problem. The Astimax Outlook plug-in assists you while planning a conference. IDAS (integrated digital alarm system) IDAS helps you to manage situations where it is a top priority to reach one or more persons responsible to resolve certain situations (e.g. escalation management). IDAS calls can be initiated as conference or hierachized calls. Logging as well as call acknowledgment by DTMB is available for all alarm calls. Furthermore, email alerts can be configured in addition to alarm calls. Integration of mobile phones Thanks to FMC (fixed mobile convergence) integration of mobile phone is effortless and eliminates the need for call forwarding. The optional app Astimax Mobile for Android takes integration one step further towards perfect ONS (one number service). Astimax Mobile converts mobile phones into fully operational extensions. Configure call forwarding with the touch of your fingertip or access the Astimax directory all with your mobile device. With the direct access to Astimax directory there is no longer any need to synchronize the mobile phone s directory or maintain duplicate directories for business and private contacts. Hot Desking Due to auto-provisioning devices can be deployed effortlessly even in large numbers. A centralized management for device profiles helps keeping track of individual setups or grouping profiles for several devices with identical setups. Furthermore, for companies with no fixed seating arrangement the hot desking feature gives users freedom of choice regarding their workstation. After entering the PIN the phone then is configured with the user s individual settings including the extension. Astimax operator panel (Astimax VPL) Astimax VPL operator panel is a flexible and easy-to-use tool that can be deployed on any given PC. At a glance you find presence information about extensions, parking positions, and call queues on a clearly arranged panel. Display of incoming calls is replenished with information provided by the Astimax appliance, e.g. directory listings, VIP status labelling. The operator panel for maximum flexibility: 48 arrays can be configured as call queue, parking position or busy lamp fields and freely arranged within the grid. Busy lamp fields display presence information and can be used as speed dial buttons. Any workstation with a PC and telephone can be used as operator by simply logging in and off to Astimax operator panel. Astimax User Users can manage the settings of their own extension with Astimax User. To name just a few the web-based tool can be used to edit entries for call forwarding, log in and log off to call groups or call queues, manage voice mail and directory listings or set up individual conference rooms. Directory Depending on the Astimax model the global directory stores up to 40,000 entries. The directory is used for name resolution for all calls. Whenever an entry for a specific number exists the corresponding name will be displayed on the telephone. All users can access the global directory either by using the Astimax User interface or the XML directory of their telephone. Flexible call routing Astimax offers numerous routing options by using parameters like IP-address, source, destination, provider or gateway. Utilize POSIX compliant expressions to modify source numbers as well as destination numbers. Furthermore, time based routing allows you to forward calls outside of business hours directly to voice mail or a prerecorded announcement. 2

REST API In order to integrate customer-specific applications Astimax systems feature a REST API. For instance, in combination with a time-recording system call forwarding can be activated or deactivated according to the user logging in or off. Or connect your personnel management system to your Astimax via the REST interface and create extensions and respective user profiles with every entry of a new employee. In addition, the REST interface helps you to set up an automated backup of the system s configuration. Astimax Lifetime With Astimax Lifetime you get software maintenance, upgrades and new features for Astimax. Subscribers receive Astimax release notes providing information on updates, upgrades, news and need-to-know facts for Astimax VoIP systems. With your personalized login you can access the support section on www.astimax.de and download the latest Astimax firmware to install on your system.
