Campus France USA 101 All students who wish to study in France more than 90 days must follow the Campus France procedure before applying for a visa. Every year, we get many questions regarding the Campus France procedure. We are hoping this message cuts down on confusion and processing time for you and our office. Campus France s process and the visa application process are distinct from each other. Please keep this in mind as it may be in your best interest to submit your Campus France application as soon as possible. The 3 STEP Campus France USA process STEP 1 I create my Etudes en France account and I submit my online application STEP 2 I mail the required paperwork to Campus France USA STEP 3 I receive the confirmation message from Campus France USA and make an appointment with my assigned consulate Page 1
What documents do I need to submit online? Applicants are required to scan and upload: A headshot (format: JPG, size: 50Ko max), An official photo ID: passport, state ID, driver s license (format: JPG, size: 300Ko max), An official acceptance letter (format: JPG, size: 300Ko max). The official acceptance letter must include the following: Your full name Institutional letterhead Exact start and end dates (day, month, and year) of the academic program you are participating in Full contact information for the individual issuing the offer or acknowledgment Signature or stamp Full address of the institution which will host the program in France Important note on official documents We do not allow applicants to submit an unofficial email of their acceptance. 4) Select EN (to switch into English) at the top left corner of the screen 5) Fill out the form carefully In order to receive the documents required for your visa application, it is mandatory you accept to receive information related to your file in your personal inbox 6) Click Create an account Page 6
7) Go to your inbox, click on the link to activate your account and create a password 8) Now you can login to your Etudes en France account Page 7

Option 1: The program has been registered in the system by your study-abroad advisor, therefore the description automatically shows up. Option 2: The program hasn t been registered in the system by your study-abroad advisor and you have to fill out this section manually. STEP 2 I mail the required paperwork to Campus France USA Applicants are required to send via postal mail the following: The admission form (print it out on the next page) A photocopy of the official acceptance letter The processing fee in the form of: o A copy of the online payment receipt (to pay online, click here) OR o A money order of $180 made out to MCUFEU. Please make sure you write your name and Campus France identification number (USXX-XXXX) on your money order. You can purchase one at your local U.S. post office, in a bank, or at the offices of Money Gram, Western Union or Currency Exchange. Any alteration to the money order (i.e. Whiteout) will render it unacceptable + a photocopy of the money order. STEP 3 I receive the confirmation message from Campus France USA and I make an appointment with my assigned consulate Within 3 weeks after Campus France has received your postal mail, and if your file is complete, a notification will be sent to the email you provided enabling you to book an appointment online with your assigned French consulate. The two documents from Campus France USA you need to print out for your visa appointment are: The email stating your Campus France fee has been processed The email stating your Campus France application has been processed Page 23
