In Print Setting Tab HeadWork: select which printhead to enable PaperSelect: set media type SKIP-BLANK: skip blank part during printing Color bar: must be enabled during printing Feather setting: feather type and level. White Setting: for UV white ink only, leave default. Hardware Adjustment X-Pumping Position This is used to adjust pump position of the printhead. Normally newly installed printer happens the pumping issue, then you should check if printhead is centered with capping unit.
If they are not center aligned, adjust this parameter. Z-plat-Height Capping: It is the pressure number between printhead and capping unit. The number goes bigger, the capping unit goes higher. Wiping: It is the height of the wiper. During Clean process, wiper touches the bottom surface of the printhead to remove waste ink. Pumping setting: It is used to adjust cleaning time and pumping strength. You can adjust it slightly, but do not set pumping too long nor too strong. Normally leave it default as the picture above. Scraping position: designed for auto wiping model. Leave it default.
Start Calibration 1. Check printhead status Print TEST button, print result is as follows : If some nozzles are missing color, CLEAN for one or more times. 2. Adjust Y-Config Parameters Click Setting (when the password window pop out, just click OK), and click Y-Config Change the number 28.2 to 30, then click Save.
3. Horizontal Alignment Click HeadHorizontalTest, print result is as follows: Check the gap between upper and lower part. If there s gap or overlap, you should manually adjust the right side printhead position as follows : Click button KKMMYCC_300TEST and check the print result.
If there s gap, loosen these 4 screws on the printhead plate, then clockwise turn the bottom screw to push the printhead. If there s overlap, you should anticlockwise turn the bottom screw to draw back the printhead slightly. Note: Adjust this only a little each time until the Horizontal Test is perfect. (no gap or overlap between upper and lower part) Then tighten the 4 screws.
4. Vertical Alignment First adjust the left side printhead, click LeftChuiZhi button and see the test result. The upper and lower lines should be aligned, otherwise you should manually adjust it as follows:
Loosen the 3 screws in red circle, then adjust the vertical position by the right bottom screw. (see the test result, if the lower part is on the left, then you should clockwise turn the right bottom screw) Print test result each time after you made a small adjustment, repeat until the LeftChuiZhi test result is perfect. Right side head should be adjusted according to the RightChuiZhi button with the same method.
5. Head Space Alignment Select Software Adjustment Tab in Settings, first we go for Head Space and click Left button in Head Space section. Check the 0 position, if the two lines are totally aligned. If not, find out in which position the two lines are aligned, and add the number to the current value in Left column. For example, of current value in Left column is 1. But the Left test result is aligned in position 10, then we should input 11 and click Save. Use the same method for the Head Space Right Head adjustment. Make sure to click Save after changing a value.
6. Bi-Dir Alignment Click Test button in Bi-Dir section. Check the 0 position, if the black and magenta lines are totally aligned. If not, find out in which position the two lines are aligned, and add the number to the current value in Bi-Dir column. For example, the current value is 20, but the two lines are aligned at position -5, then we should input 15 and click Save.
7. L_R Adjustment Click Next to go for L-Hi(123) and click the button. Check if the lines are aligned at position 0, use the same method as above to input the correct values. Click L-Hr(123) button and use the same method as above to input the correct values.
8. Step Adjustment Go to Settings Y Config Tab, and click Test button in Y pass-adj section. Measure the distance between the first line of each block, this is the actual step value, input this value into the second column which is after the Test button. Then click Save.
9. Driver Setting It is used to control the printhead voltage wave. Default one is TX800_SINO001. Leave is as default. Dot setting: to select 3 Ink droplet sizes, small-middle-large. Each ink dot size has different effect, we recommend to use either small dots or large dots. 10. Head Arrange Leave it as default.
