Oracle Database Standard Edition, when used with Oracle Real Application Clusters, may only be licensed on a single cluster of servers supporting up to a maximum capacity of 4 sockets. Oracle Standard Edition One, Internet Application Server Standard Edition One and Portal Standard Edition One can only be licensed on servers that have a maximum capacity of 2 sockets. Oracle Database Standard Edition 2 can only be licensed on servers that have a maximum capacity of 2 sockets. Oracle Database Standard Edition 2, when used with Oracle Real Application Clusters, may only be licensed on a cluster of 2 single processor servers.
