Click the icon to manage your sound settings. You may choose to mute all sounds, or vary the way that the chat room alerts you to chat room activity. Room Settings: Update Chat Room: update chat room name, welcome message, and/or chat times. Manage Chat Responses: add/update stored messages for yourself and other chat reps. Edit Profile: (only available to organization admins) edit organization profile. End Session & Close Room: allows you to close room this will expel all users from your room and should only be used at the end of your chat session.
Idea: Add documents to Files that Candidates can download from chat (only admin has permission to add files to Folder) All Organization Reps listed here All Candidates listed here Add a picture: go back to your fair dashboard and click the Edit Profile button beside your name. There will be a button to Upload Personal Photo.
Important: When a visitor joins your room, you receive a sound alert (knocking sound) Click drop-down to indicate Available for Private Chats or Busy (unavailable) Group Chat: Messages typed here are visible to the entire Chat room Click down arrow to access and send Stored Chat Responses

From Menu: review Candidate s profile and invite Candidate to Private Chat To track candidates who visit your chat sessions, click Add to Favorites and add notes in account dashboard
Important: Private Chats are shown in the Light Blue section below (Only visible to the Candidate in Private Chat) Take notes on candidates in a private chat; they will be available in the downloadable Candidate Report. P icon indicates you are in a Private Chat with User. Checkmark icon indicates an Organization Rep has initiated a Private Chat with User. After starting a Private Chat, a new chat window opens below. (Enter and send private text in this area)
OPTIONAL: Click Maximize View to see only your Private Chat on the screen. Minimize View to see Group Chat responses simultaneously. (split screen)
Click Candidate name to toggle between multiple private chats. Important: Private Chats responses will create a sound alert (bell sound). To modify sound alerts, click Speaker icon. You will receive alerts (yellow box) indicating a Private Chat request and number of missed messages from Candidate. Click Candidate name to Private Chat.
When Private Chats are Maximized: You will receive alerts (blinking & number) indicating you need to turn your focus back to other private chats, or messages in the Main Chat Room. Note: If you navigate away from the chat, your browser tabs will indicate how many messages are waiting for you the number will be listed in parentheses.
Important: When using Multi-media, you must test in advance of your chat sessions! Multi-media Options: 1) Broadcast Video/Audio You may broadcast using your webcam and/or audio feed to everyone in the room. 2) Broadcast Audio You may broadcast only your audio to everyone in the chat room. 3) Share Screen/Audio You may share your computer screen and your audio feed to everyone in the chat room. 4) One-to-One Video/Audio You may conduct a private video/audio chat (must first initiate a private chat to use this feature). Essential Technology Requirement: All Users (including Candidates) must be logged in using an updated version of Google Chrome (preferred) or Firefox in order to utilize the video/audio features. Note: You may need to change microphone/camera settings. Click the icon in your URL bar to adjust (may vary by browser).
Remember: Audio/Video will ONLY work if logged in using current versions of Google Chrome or Firefox! Select Broadcast Video/Audio to allow all visitors to see and hear you in the chat room. IMPORTANT: Remember to click End Broadcast when finished! Video/Broadcast will open in a modal window in the chat room, which may be resized and moved on your screen as needed. Test in advance of your chat sessions! * Only one Organization rep may broadcast to the entire room at one time.

Candidate s video opens only after accepting a Private Video Chat request Private Video Chat screens will open in new modal windows in the chat room, which may be resized and moved as needed Start a one-to-one Video Chat with Candidate from Private Chat IMPORTANT: Remember to click End Broadcast when finished!

Note: You MUST install the Screen Sharing extension to share your screen. 1) To Share your computer screen, select Share Screen/Audio from the Broadcast Media drop-down menu. Reminder: Only Candidates using Chrome or Firefox can view your screen and hear your audio broadcast. 2) Follow the instructions in this pop-up. It is essential to refresh your browser as instructed. (this step is only necessary for first time users) 3) After refreshing, select Share Screen/Audio from the Broadcast Media drop-down menu. 4) The next steps are different depending on whether you are using Chrome or Firefox as your browser (differences explained in the following slides). Chrome Instructions 1) You MUST select Entire Screen or your presentation will NOT be viewable to others. * If you use more than one monitor, select Screen 1 or the monitor your presentation will be displayed on. 2) Depending on your settings: You may need to click the camera icon to the right of the URL bar, then choose your microphone and click Done. 4) EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: end your broadcast by either clicking End Broadcast in the top menu bar, or clicking Stop Sharing at the bottom of your screen. 3) Screen & audio broadcast confirmation shows beneath your name in the chat.
