CPA PREPARATORY COURSES 2017 2018 SCHEDULE AND FEES CPA preparatory courses provide the knowledge requirement for admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) and entry and technical courses for CPA Canada s Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance (ACAF). There are 14 CPA preparatory courses, and each course ends with an examination. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Change to Taxation Prerequisite Requirement The prerequisite requirements for Taxation have changed. Effective Semester 1, 2018, Intermediate Financial Reporting I and II will be required prior to enrollment into Tax. SELFSTUDY COURSES The following CPA preparatory courses are offered online on a selfstudy basis. Students must receive a minimum grade of 50 per cent in order to successfully pass each course. Statistics Introductory Management Accounting Business Law Economics Information Technology INSTRUCTORFACILITATED COURSES The following CPA preparatory courses are led by instructors, in an online environment, who are responsible for reviewing and providing feedback on course assignments and responding to student questions. Students must receive an overall grade of 60 per cent or higher in each instructorfacilitated course in order to successfully pass the instructorfacilitated courses.
