. Video Lecture devices (Personal) Preparation before installation ) Requirements: Laptop or desktop PC with USB ports ) Drivers to install: Webcam / Headsets USB type ) Warning: USB headsets must be corded directly onto the PC device hence; must not use a USB hub. Using a USB hub will decrease the audio quality of the headset.. Web camera installation (Ex: Logitech C0) Logitech camera device driver installation Connect webcam USB cord to PC device to download driver automatically. (UVC support feature) When installing Logitech QuickCam Connect(or S5500) Insert CD. Connect webcam to USB port.. USB headset installation(ex: Platronics AUDIO 646 USB) Must connect USB onto PC device. (Must plug USB into PC directly, must not use USB hubs.) Connect headset to USB sound card (Input/output) Speaker&MIC Directly connect USB sound card to PC port Audio device installation complete Check from [Control panel System - Device manager] to check if device is installed correctly. USB plug Notice When disconnecting USB devices (Headphones and Webcams) from PC device, user must go through Audio Video settings. (Refer to page 6) USB headset device description

. Login. Access Web initial page (URL address requested by customer) ( ). Access site. Member login Type in ID and Password Select remember ID to save ID the next time a user logs in.. Find ID/Password Enter name and email address used during application then select find button.

4. Program installation. Program installation. Download program automatically from login screen Click to proceed with client installation manually when unable to initiate installation properly after logging in. Once hosting a Lecture, an icon will be created on user s PC desktop. User may use this icon to proceed to the login page the next time he or she uses video conferencing.. Installation file and user manual downloads. Download from customer initial web login page. Click program manual installation or user manual to launch or save. (Use installation file only when automatic installation is not functioning) Adobe Reader is required to view the manual.

4. Device settings (Audio/Video settings). Setting procedure - Speaker Select device when or more device is used in a single PC device (When other device is selected, audio input/output may not function normally) Appropriate speaker volume settings - Several USB sound devices may appear on device list. Hence; it is crucial to test all devices first to make sure sound output is being done from the device you wish to use. A short melody will be played once you click speaker test. Reminder For users who are installing the program for the first time must proceed the following procedure. When detaching the device from PC and reconnecting the device, the following procedure must be done. Start > Programs >SchoolNet >Audio Video settings Select device to use in speaker > MIC > Camera sequence. Audio Video settings must be done while logged out. 5

6 4. Device settings (Audio/Video settings). Settings procedure - MIC 4 4 Select connected MIC from [Device name] (When other device is selected, audio input/output may not function normally) Movement on MIC gauge bar will appear when MIC device is functioning normally. - Adjust MIC volume until MIC gauge bar reaches the middle point of the bar TIP. When no movement on MIC gauge bar appears, there may be a problem with your MIC device.. Setting procedure- Camera 5 5 Select connected Camera from [Device name] (when other device is selected, audio input/output may not function normally) 4. Confirm and complete settings 6 Selected speaker(headphone), MIC, Camera settings are done. 6 Speaker, MIC, Camera must be set as [Device to use] As shown in the picture, devices must be set as Activated as shown in the picture. TIP. How to change device settings during a Lecture. Able to change Speaker, MIC and camera settings from Lecture>Tools>Environment settings. Must undergo configuration process when connecting MIC, speakers on PC device.

Participant list menu features - Search: Search particular participant among various users - Arrange: Search per participated time/upper/lower Recite authority (Chat window) Request recite authority: Participants clicks on the recite button located at the upper right portion of the client window. Recite authority delegated: Once recite authority is given to a participant, the participant is able to switch to video/document/web share and screen share mode. Disable recite authority: To disable recite authority, the participant has to click on the recite button once more or, the host can simply disable this feature from the participant. NOTICE: - A red bar will appear if the participant s MIC device is working correctly. - The MIC icon located on the participant list will blink whenever the speaker speaks through his or her MIC device. * Hotkeys. 0. Lecture screen layout Participant list features. Participant list (Host authority) Removing the Title List Host authority: Authority provided only to the host. This authority can be delegated or disabled to a designated user. The host may exit the Lecture and regain host authority upon re-entering the Lecture. . Lecture screen layout - Others. Change Lecture size (Screen size Resizing). Change Lecture size : Supports all resolution and resizing feature Supports all monitor resolution, minimum of 800x600 size to all sizes supported from PC. To acquire vivid images, 4: screen ratio is maintained. This also refrains the screen from being distorted.. Lecture size Full Screen features. Lecture size (Full screen) Provides full screen for the participant view video screen images more clearly. Hot key F5, [View] Menu Full screen enabled

4. Document sharing Registering MS Office, Image, PDF. Select document share and proceed with Lecture 5 Select document share Click open button, you may open by using the open file option from your menu button. Select file to upload and click open Able to upload MS office documents, PDF and picture files 4 Preview page will appear. Select Ok to upload 5 Document list -Delete document folder: Select folder then select trash bin -Delete document page: Click page to delete then select trash bin -Change document name: Change folder and page name 4 Preview

5 4. Screen layout (Document share) Open PDF file horizontally. Select document Lecture. Preview settings - If pdf file is set as horizontal view, simply click on convert button to view vertically - pdf file appear vertically as shown in the picture

Use to view document and video screen separately (Ideal for dual monitor users) View -> Float video lecture screen Select [Separate video Lecture video] from [View] menu Video screen mode In case participant is using a dual monitor, user can separate the video to view my screen and shared screen at the same time. Firewall port settings : When using an internal firewall, port 44, 500, 500 aside from standard web port (80) must be opened. 5

Use to share host s desktop screen with participants Select desktop share Desktop sharing (Standard monitor) Use when sharing desktop screen of the host with other participants Program sharing Select to share a specific program which is running from the host s PC End screen share Select end screen share to end screen share Screen share (Participant view) Select drawing tool to mark indications on shared screen Select to show drawing tool. 7. Screen layout (Desktop share). This feature can only be used by the participant (Unable for host) Separate video tab will initialize from [View] option once screen share is activated. 참석자클릭 Once separate video is selected, the shared screen is separated hence separating the screen. - If participant is using a dual monitor, separate screen to view my screen and shared screen all at once. Screen control authority : Host can delegate authority to participants to remotely control host s shared screen. How to delegate screen control authority : Place mouse pointer on top of the target participant s ID whom the host wants to delegate the authority to and select give authority. 9

Share website pages with participants 4 Select web share option Enter website address to capture and share Website is then indicated (Possible to browse through the website) - Only host can browse through the website 4 Document list Select web capture to add page on agenda list 40

9. Record & Play Lecture [Convert file]. Record and play Select folder to save recorded file When no location is selected, it will automatically be saved on Background>My documents> SchoolNet folder How to save recorded files [Save formats] Record as MV file The mv format can not be converted to wmv or mp4 formats. Recorded files saved in mv format can only be played using the SchoolNet media player. SchoolNet player is installed automatically once the user have installed SchoolNet solution. [Installed together with the solution as a package] Unable to play mv formats while having SchoolNet Lecture. Must end SchoolNet Lecture before opening the recorded file. Select the recorded file storage type Recording in WMV, MP4 file format WMV, MP4 format can be played from windows media player and other media player software. Recorded file sizes are large. Will record all activities of the desktop. Ex. Opening of files, drive browsing etc. WMV, MP4 record quality High quality, Med quality 04x78(Standard), Med Quality 640x480, Low quality WMV, MP4 record area Lecture screen/standard monitor/sub monitor Files recorded in MP4 formats can be played from smart phones (Iphone, Android phones, ios and android tablets) Player MV 녹화파일 -> How to convert to wmv or mp4 files Press button to convert MV file to wmv or mp4 format. Recording Playback(MV) 0 How to convert : Open.mv file -> Select convert button -> Select.mv filr to convert then select open -> Select w mv or mp4 file format / video quality-> Save as different file name

Even if authority settings are not configured, host can delegate authorities to participants during the Lecture - Able to control video capture size and quality.
