POWER AC POWER (Wall Outlet) 1. Plug the supplied AC Power Adapter into the Power Adapter Input (16) on the rear of the unit. 2. Insert the wall plug of the AC Power Cord into an electrical wall outlet. 3. Turn the Power Switch (18) to the ON position. BATTERY POWER This speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge the battery simply plug the supplied AC Power Adapter into the Power Adapter Input (16) and turn the Power Switch (18) to the OFF position. The Charging Indicator Light (15) will turn RED when the battery is charging. The Charging Indicator Light (15) will turn GREEN when the battery is 100% charged. VOLUME The volume is adjusted by turning the VOLUME Control Knob (14) on the rear of the unit. To Increase the Volume: Rotate the VOLUME Control Knob (14) clockwise. To Decrease the Volume: Rotate the VOLUME Control Knob (14) counterclockwise. SELECTING A SOURCE To select the source (Bluetooth, Line-In, USB, microsd, FM) you want to listen to simply press the MODE button (1). The LCD display will briefly display the current mode each time the MODE button (1) is pressed. NOTE: the USB & microsd modes will only be available if there is a USB Flash Drive and/or microsd card inserted in the speaker. VOICE COMMANDS This speaker includes voice commands to help announce each button press. To turn Voice Commands ON or OFF press and hold the MODE button (1). To change the language of the Voice Commands press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button (5). PAIRING TO A BLUETOOTH DEVICE 1. Turn your Bluetooth device OFF entirely and then turn it back ON to refresh the device s Bluetooth memory. 2. Find the Bluetooth menu on your device and make sure the Bluetooth function is turned ON (refer to your device s user manual for instructions on finding the Bluetooth menu). 3. Press the MODE button (1) repeatedly until the speaker is in Bluetooth Mode. 4. On your device, perform a Bluetooth device discovery to add the speaker as a new device. 5. When the speaker is discovered your device will display DJSP1216LBT in the Bluetooth menu. 6. If your device asks for a password, enter 0000 and the device will now pair with the speaker and be ready to use. 7. If supported by your device s menu, set the DJSP1216LBT as a trusted/authorized device Once your Bluetooth device is successfully paired with the speaker you can begin listening to music from your device by simply pressing Play on your device.

Note: you can control music playback directly on your device or if your device supports Bluetooth control you can also use the PLAY/PAUSE (5), SKIP FORWARD (6), and SKIP BACKWARD (4) buttons on the rear of the speaker. PLAYING an ipod, MP3 PLAYER, or OTHER DEVICE USING THE AUX INPUT 1. Plug one end of a 3.5mm stereo audio cable (not included) into the AUX INPUT (8) on the rear of the speaker. 2. Plug the other end of the cable into the headphone jack or audio output of your external device. 3. Press the MODE button (1) repeatedly until the speaker is in the LINE IN mode. 4. Adjust the volume on your external device to an acceptable level. 5. Press PLAY on your external device to being listening. NOTE: All playback controls (Play/Pause, Stop, Next/Previous, must be controlled on your external device) PLAYING MP3 MUSIC FILES FROM A USB FLASH DRIVE 1. Insert a USB Flash Drive into the USB Input (7). 2. Press the MODE button (1) repeatedly until the speaker is in the USB mode. 3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (5) to begin playing the first track on the Flash Drive 4. Use the SKIP FORWARD (6) & SKIP BACKWARD (4) buttons to change music tracks. PLAYING MP3 MUSIC FILES FROM A microsd CARD 1. Insert a microsd Card into the microsd Card Slot (9). 2. Press the MODE button (1) repeatedly until the speaker is in the microsd / TF Card mode. 3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (5) to begin playing the first track on the Flash Drive 4. Use the SKIP FORWARD (6) & SKIP BACKWARD (4) buttons to change music tracks. REPEAT PLAYBACK (USB & microsd MODES ONLY) To Repeat a Single Track press the REPEAT button (3) once. The LCD will show REPEAT ONE. To return to normal playback press the REPEAT button (3) again. The LCD will show REPEAT ALL. After the last song on the Flash Drive or microsd card is played, the speaker will automatically return to playing the first song on the Flash Drive or microsd card again. LISTEN TO FM RADIO 1. Press the MODE button (1) repeatedly until the speaker is in the FM mode. 2. Press and hold the SKIP FORWARD (6) or SKIP BACKWARD (4) buttons to tune to the desired radio station. The speaker will automatically begin searching for the next radio station. Once a radio signal is found the speaker will stop searching and begin playing the station. AUTO SCAN: The speaker can automatically scan for available radio stations and store them into radio presets. To use this feature simply press the PLAY/PAUSE button (5) to begin the Auto Scan. Once the Auto Scan has completed you can switch between the preset stations by simply pressing the SKIP FORWARD (6) or SKIP BACKWARD (4) buttons. If the station you wish to listen to was not found during Auto Scan, simply adjust the FM Antenna (19) and perform another Auto Scan until the station is found.

MICROPHONE To use a microphone simply insert the ¼ microphone plug from your microphone into the Microphone Input (17). Adjust the volume output of the microphone by using the Microphone Volume Knob (10). You can also adjust the Echo Effect of the microphone by using the Echo Control Knob (11). RECORDING FROM THE MICROPHONE This speaker can record audio from a microphone directly to a USB Flash Drive or microsd card. To begin recording follow the steps below: 1. Insert your microphone into the Microphone Input (17). Adjust the Microphone Volume and Echo Effect as needed. 2. Insert a USB Flash Drive or microsd card. 3. Use the MODE button (1) to select the correct mode (USB or microsd / TF Card) 4. Press and hold the RECORD button (2) to begin recording. 5. When you are finished recording press the RECORD button (2) again to stop recording. LED SPEAKER LIGHTS The front of this speaker has built-in colored LED lights. To turn the LED lights ON/OFF simply use the Light Switch (20). TROUBLESHOOTING Symptom Possible Cause Solution Noise or sound distorted on FM broadcast No sound - Station not tuned properly for the desired station. - Player not in the correct MODE. - Volume set at minimum - Retune the FM broadcast station by adjusting the antenna. - Use the MODE button (1) to adjust the mode. - Increase Volume. An echo is heard when using the microphone - Echo effect is set too high. - Use the Echo Control Knob (11) to adjust the echo effect. Sound from microphone is distorted - Microphone Volume control is set to maximum. - Adjust Microphone Volume Control (10) to a lower comfortable level.

We will replace the unit free of charge should it become defective under this warranty, providing you, the original purchaser, have your original dated sales receipt. To obtain warranty service or replacement within the ninety-day warranty period, please return the product with all parts and accessories along with your original dated store receipt to the original place of purchase and the unit will be exchanged at no charge. It is not necessary to contact the manufacturer for warranty replacement. Under no circumstances shall BLUESTREAM be liable for any loss (direct, indirect, incidental, foreseen, unforeseen, special or consequential) or for any damage arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this product. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL BLUESTREAM BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
