The Océ Windows Raster Driver can be used from any Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows Millennium application to print on your Océ printer. The driver converts your file to HP-RTL, the raster transfer language designed by Hewlett-Packard. This enables your printer to become a true wide format printer, producing monochrome and color posters from Photoshop, Corel Draw, etc. as well as CAD or electronic design applications, among others. Normally, you will never see any of the RTL code. Everything that goes on inside your computer and the printer is hidden. The printer driver takes care of translating the application s internal data into RTL, and it also makes sure you can select printer features in a simple way. Your printer will recognize a RTL file, using the built-in automatic language sensing feature. Océ Windows Raster Driver 2 5
