1. Introduction (COS) is a fast, secure online storage service that provides essential disaster recovery for mission critical or otherwise important files in the event of damage, deletion or theft. Files and data of all types are stored on Comodo's highly secure servers and can be accessed over the Internet from anywhere in the world. In the event something goes wrong with your hard drive, or you lose your system in a disaster or to burglary, you can retrieve your precious files instantly by logging into your account and restoring the backedup files and data. Your Online Storage space can be mounted as a virtual drive simultaneously on multiple systems and you can manage your stored files using Windows Explorer as you would with any local drive or partition. Any changes made will be instantly visible on all other computers that are configured to connect to this virtual drive. In addition, your online drive is accessible by programs such as Windows Media Player and itunes, so you can listen to music from this virtual drive directly as you would from your own system. Your account is not just for files and directories it can also be used to backup your mail and mail account settings, IM conversations, game saves, disks and partitions (sectorbysector image), registry keys and more. service can also be accessed through an intuitive web interface at http://onlinestorage.comodo.com/index.php without the need of COS client installed in a computer. The web interface has a streamlined tab structure. The files are sorted depending on their types and are listed under the respective tabs. This enables easy identification of the files you want to access at any moment. You can upload files from any computer, download files to any computer from your online storage, rename files on your online storage space and much more, from through the Web Interface directly. Uninstalling Client Appendix Comodo BackUp and Client 1.1.System Requirements To ensure optimal performance of client, please ensure that your PC complies with the minimum system requirements: Supported Operating Systems Windows 7 (32bit and 64bit) Windows Vista (Home/Business/Ultimate) (32bit and 64bit) Windows XP SP2 (Home/Professional) (32bit and 64 bit) Windows 2003 Server (32bit and 64 bit) Windows 2008 Server (32bit and 64bit) Minimum Hardware Intel Pentium III Processor or higher 256 MB RAM 23 MB Disk Space 1.2.Installing Client Before you install (COS) client, read the installation instructions carefully and also review the system requirements listed in this chapter. Quit all other Windows programs before installing COS client as other interfere with the installation. After downloading the COS client setup file to your local hard drive, double click on Setup.exe to start the installation wizard. Step 1 Choosing the Interface Language The set up program will start automatically and the Select Setup language dialog is displayed. COS client is available in several languages. Select the language in which you want the COS client to be installed from the dropdown menu and click 'OK'. Read the EULA fully and click 'I Agree' to continue installation. If you want to cancel the installation, click 'Cancel'. Step 3 Select Installation Folder The next screen allows you to select the folder in your hard drive for installing the COS client. If you want to install the application in a location other than the default location, click 'Browse' to choose a different location. Click the 'Back' button to review / change any of settings you specified before or click 'Install' to continue with installation process. Step 4 Setup Progress A setup status dialog box is displayed. You can see a progress bar indicating that the files are being installed. Step 5 Registration Authentication The Registration Authentication dialog is displayed. If you are a new user, click the 'Create Account' button. You will be taken to the account signup page at https://os.comodo.com/onlinestorageplans.php to create a new account with. The detailed description on creating the new account is available in the section 'Creating Your Online Storage Account through COS Signup Page'. After creating the new account, enter your user name (your email address) and password that you had given in user details. Note: You can also complete the installation without entering the username and password at this stage. But you will be asked to enter them while loggingin to your account through the COS client. If you already have a Account, enter your username (your email address) and password. If you wish to sign up for news about Comodo products then select the check box 'Sign me up for news about Comodo products'. This is optional. If you wish to have more information on service, click 'Learn More...' link. You will be taken to the home page of COS web interface at https://os.comodo.com/. Click 'Finish'. 1.3.Starting Client You can also access (COS) client through the Windows Start Menu, through the desktop shortcut or through the system tray icon. 1. Start Menu On installing (COS) client, the setup process creates an entry in the 'Programs' section of Windows Start Menu. You can start the COS client by clicking the 'Start' button and navigating to: Start > All Programs > Comodo > >. 2. Desktop Shortcut You can also start the COS client by doubleclicking or rightclicking and selecting open on the COS shortcut icon created on the desktop. 3. System Tray Icon On installation COS client creates a system tray icon displayed at the bottom right corner of the screen. Rightclicking on the system tray icon opens a context sensitive menu with options for configuring the client. Open If you are already logged in and if you select 'Open', the COS client displays the contents of the COS drive. If you are not logged in, the Login dialog opens. Show Drop Zone Displays the Drop Box for draganddrop operations (Default = Selected). If you uncheck it, the Drop Box will not be displayed for file draganddrop operations. Get more online storage Takes you to Comodo Online Storage purchase page, enabling you to signup for more online storage space, as per your requirement. Settings > Upload Print Screens Uploads the print screen image file, to the online storage in.jpg format into the 'Dropped' Files folder on every press of the Print Screen key. Help Opens the online help guide. The (COS) help guide contains detailed explanations of the functionality and usage of the application. The section Using Live Help explains other resources and options that are open to users who require further assistance. Tip: The online help guide can also be accessed by clicking 'About' from the from the right click options and clicking 'Help Online' from the 'About' Dialog. About Opens the About dialog and provides information about the application version, update status and copyright information. The 'About' dialog also has shortcuts to access the online help guide for COS and to get Live Person help from Comodo. Refer to Getting Live Help for more details. The installation will be completed and the client will be started. 2.2.How to Create an Online Storage Account You can create an Online Storage account with Comodo by the following methods: Through Signup page; Through web interface; Through Comodo Accounts Manager interface; Through Comodo BackUp application. 2.2.1. Creating Your Online Storage Account through COS Signup page The signup page is hosted at https://os.comodo.com/onlinestorageplans.php. You can also 2011 Comodo Security Solutions Inc. access the page by clicking 'Create Account' button at the Registration Authentication step, during installation of COS client in your system. The page allows you to select the package that meets your requirements. Note: If you want to try the service with a 5GB storage space/year for free click 'Try Now'. For more details on the procedure to signup for a free trial account, refer to Creating Your Online Storage Account through Web Interface. You can upgrade your account at any time for additional storage space and time. Click the 'Sign up Now' button beneath the package you choose. You will be taken to the order placement form. The subscription pack you chose will be displayed preselected in the Package dropdown. Select the subscription package you want to use from the drop down list. If you are a new customer, select 'New User' and enter all the required information. If you are already having an account with, select 'returning user'. You will need to enter only the email address and your existing Comodo account password. Note: Fields marked with * are mandatory. Select your payment mode in the Payment Options section. Enter your Credit Card Details in the respective fields. Read the 'End User License and Subscriber Agreement' and accept to it by selecting 'I accept the Terms and 2011 Comodo Security Solutions Inc. Conditions' checkbox. Click 'Place Order'. Your order will be processed and a confirmation email will be sent from Comodo. You can use your email address as user name and password you specified during the ordering process to login to your Comodo online storage space. Creating Your Online Storage Account through Web Interface The web interface for (COS) is available at http://os.comodo.com/. The web interface allows you to create your online storage account (free trial) of 5GB for one year. You can upgrade your account at any time to get additional storage space. 2. Click 'Register' from the topright. The Registration form will appear. 3. Enter your email address in the first field. 4. Enter a password of your choice in the second field and reenter the password for confirmation in the third field. 5. Click 'Register'. Your account will be created. You can now login to your account using your email address as username and the password you entered during your account creation. You can use the same username and password to login to client installed in your computer. 2.2.3. Creating Your Online Storage Account through Comodo Accounts Manager Interface Visit the Comodo Accounts manager page at https://accounts.comodo.com. Select the subscription package you want to use from the drop down list displayed. Enter your email address in the 'Login' field and a password for account in the 'Password' and 'Password Confirmation' fields. Creating Your Online Storage Account Through Comodo BackUp Application You can create your online storage account through the Comodo BackUp application, if installed on your computer. You can also upload your files to the online storage location and manage your files on line through the same application. To create a new COS account Click Online Backup from the left hand side navigation pane and click Online Backup tab. The Online Backup pane will appear. This interface enables you to create a new account with by clicking the 'Register Now' link. The process is covered in more detailed manner in the dedicated Comodo BackUp http://help.comodo.com/topic912812732comodobackupintroduction.html. Through COS Web interface; Through Comodo BackUp application. 2.3.1. Loggingin through COS Client 1. Start the COS client by any one of the methods mentioned above. The login window will appear. 2. Enter your username (your email address) and password in the respective fields and click 'Login'. After you've logged in successfully, your online storage space will be displayed as a local drive in the system through which you have logged in. 2011 Comodo Security Solutions Inc. You can access your files from the virtual drive as you do with the files in the other physical drives. 2.3.2. Loggingin through COS Web Interface 1. Visit the page at http://onlinestorage.comodo.com/ 2. Click 'Login'. The login form will appear. 3. You will enter into your online storage space. Your files will be displayed according to their categories under different tabs. The interface allows you to upload files from the computer through which you have loggedin to your online storage space and access your files online. 2.3.3. Loggingin through Comodo BackUp Application You can login to your online storage account through the Comodo BackUp application, if installed on your computer. You can also upload your files to the online storage location and manage your files on line through the same application. To login to your online storage Click Online Backup from the left hand side navigation pane and click Online Backup tab. The Online Backup pane will appear. 2011 Comodo Security Solutions Inc. This interface enables you to login to your online storage with the user name and password of your COS account. User guide at 2.4.How to Upload Your Files to Online Storage Uploading your valuable files to online storage not only enables you to access the files from anywhere in the world but also reduces your system's hardware requirements for storage. The files are preserved safely and are capable of being retrieved even if your system crashes. You can upload your files to your online storage space by three ways: Through (COS) client; Through COS Web Interface; Through Comodo BackUp Application 2.4.1. Uploading Your Files through Client Once you have loggedin to your (COS) account successfully, your online storage space will be mounted as a virtual drive in your system and will be displayed as a local drive in your Windows Explorer. To upload files from your system to online storage Open the Drive from your Windows Explorer. Select the folder/file to be copied from the local system Tip: Use Control/Shift keys to select multiple folders/files at once. 4. Click the right arrow to copy the selected folders/files to the online storage. Alternatively, you can select the folders/files to be copied, drag and drop to the destination folder. This interface also enables you to download files from your online storage to the computer system through which you have loggedin. The process is covered in more detailed manner in the dedicated Comodo BackUp User guide at http://help.comodo.com/topic912812732comodobackupintroduction.html. 2.5.How to Schedule Regular Backups to Online Storage Now that you have signed up for a (COS) account, the next step is to back up your files to the online storage space. 1. Start Comodo BackUp application, if installed in your system or download the Comodo BackUp setup file from http://backup.comodo.com/ and install it in your computer. 2. Click 'Backup Now' on the summary screen. 3. Select 'Fewer options' mode or 'More options' mode to create your backup job. 'More options' mode allows granular configuration of your backup job and is suitable for advanced users. 'Fewer options' mode is suitable for most users and allows you to create a backup job in the least number of steps. 4. Select the files, folders and other important areas that you want to back up from the 'Backup Source' area and click 'Next'. 5. Select 'COMODO Online Storage' as the 'Backup Destination'. 6. Enter your username (email address) and password then click 'Sign In' (remember to enable 'Sign In Automatically') 7. Click the alarm clock icon 8. Click 'Next' if you wish to configure advanced backup settings. 9. local folder will be instantly reflected in the online storage. The length of time it takes to synchronize may vary depending on the amount of data being transferred and the speed of your Internet connection. You can set for automatic synchronization of folders by two ways: By rightclicking on the folder; Through Comodo BackUp application 2.6.1. Setting for Automatic Synchronization of a Folder from Context Sensitive Menu (COS) client installed in your system creates an option in the contextsensitive menu that is displayed on rightclicking a folder from Windows Explorer. The option 'Sync to ' enables setting a folder for automatic synchronization with the copy of it in the online storage. 1. In Windows Explorer view, rightclick on the file/folder that you want to sync with its copy folder in the online storage. 2. From the context sensitive menu, select the 'Sync to ' option. That's it. Setting for Automatic Synchronization of a Folder through Comodo BackUp Application You can set for automatic synchronization of a folder to your online storage space through the Comodo BackUp (CB) application, if installed on your computer. User guide at 2.7.How to Restore Files/Folders from Your Online Storage In case if some files or folders in your local drive are corrupted or lost, you can easily restore them from the Online Storage space. If you had chosen the sync option, the folder in your online storage will be automatically updated with the latest modifications done in files and folders in the synced folder. The files/folders can be restored by three ways: Through COS client Through COS Web Interface Through Comodo BackUp application 2.7.1. Restoring Your Files/Folders Through COS Client The easy and fast way of restoring your files/folders from your online storage space is through COS Client. 3. Managing Your Files on Online Storage (COS) is an easy to use online storage space that allows you to maintain secure copies of your valuable data. Files stored on COS can be accessed from any computer, whenever and wherever you need them. Comodo offers a variety of ways to access files stored on COS: COS client a lightweight application that allows you to simply drag and drop files into a 'drop box' for uploading to online storage. Apart from the usual file management capabilities, the client also lets you quickly add selected text, images, web pages, print screens and browser bookmarks to your storage space. See 'Managing Your Files using the COS Client' for more details. Web Interface Comodo's streamlined web interface lets you securely access and manage your files from any internet connected computer in the world. To access the interface now, visit http://onlinestorage.comodo.com/ and click 'Login'. See Managing Your Files using the Web Interface for more details. Comodo Backup Software Comodo's powerful backup solution offers home and business users a wealth of scheduling options and backup types. Files on COS can be accessed through Comodo Backup's built in file explorer. 3.1.Managing Your Files using the COS Client Upon successful login to your account through the (COS) client from your system, the client: Displays a nonintrusive drop box that enables you to directly drop the files/folders, screen captures images, and your browser bookmarks to your online storage space. See Managing Your Files Using the Drop Box for more details. Mounts your online storage space as a virtual drive in your system and displays it as a local drive in 'My Computer' window. You can access the files and folders in this drive as if you do with any other hard drive partitions. 3.1.1. Managing Your Files using the Drop Box COS client displays a Drop Box to conveniently upload your files to your online storage space. The Drop Box is nonintrusive as it appears only whenever you drag a file to drop into it and is translucent avoiding hindrance to view of the portion of the screen behind it. The drop box adds every dropped file to a queue and uploads all added items to your online storage space in a folder named 'Dropped Files'. Note: The DropZone will be displayed only if the option 'Show Drop Zone' is enabled in the rightclick options of the COS client System Tray icon. An important advantage of the drop box is that when the upload is interrupted due to some reason, say system failure or power loss, the COS client resumes the files upload from where it left off without the need for you to start all over again. You can draganddrop various contents given below: Files and Folders You can directly drag the selected files and folders to the COS system tray icon and drop them to the dropzone that appears. The files and folders will be added to 'Dropped Files' folder in the online storage space. Selected text from documents or web pages You can select the required portion of text from a document or a web page and draganddrop it (by holding the 'Ctrl' key) to the dropzone. The COS client will create files with.txt extension in the 'Dropped Files' folder in the online storage space. The files will be timestamped in their file names for your identification. Images from documents or web pages You can drag the required image(s) from a document or a web page and drop them (by holding the 'Ctrl' key) to the dropzone. The COS client will create image file(s) with.jpg extension in the 'Dropped Files' folder in the online storage space. The files will be timestamped in their file names for your identification. Print Screen images The images captured whenever you press 'Print Screen' key will be saved directly to the online storage space. The images will be saved as.jpg files in the 'Dropped Files' folder. The files will be timestamped in their file names for your identification. Note: You should have selected this option from the right click options of the COS client System Tray icon. Bookmarks You can drag the Bookmarks directly from the 'Favorites' dropdown menu of your browser and dropthem to the dropzone. The dropped bookmarks are saved as.url files in the 'Dropped Files' folder in the online 2011 Comodo Security Solutions Inc. All rights reserved 40

storage space. The files can be downloaded to a different location in the same computer or in a different computer, creating shortcuts for the webpages, located by the bookmark URLS. Tip: To export all the saved bookmarks from you system to the online storage, you can drag and drop the 'Favorites' folder in <Windows installation drive, usually C>:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\ to the dropzone. See the next section Drag and Drop Files to Online Storage for more details on using the Drop Box. 3.1.1.1. Drag and Drop Files to Online Storage 1. Select the item(s) from your local storage drives that you want to drop into your online storage space. 2. Drag the selected items to the right of the screen. The Drop Box tray appears. This zone appears at the right of the screen by default, and you can change the location of the drop box by just dragging it. This new location persists even after restart or shutdown. 3. Drop the selected items into the tray. The Drop Box displays the total size of the items to be dropped. The dropped items will be uploaded one by one in the order they were selected and the progress is displayed for the entire list of items to be uploaded. 2011 Comodo Security Solutions Inc. To pause and resume the entire upload, press the pause button Press the cancel button and resume button respectively. to cancel the upload, which will cancel uploads of all items in the queue. When the uploading operation is completed, the 'Show Files' link at the bottom of the tray will be displayed. Clicking the 'Show Files' link will open the 'Dropped Files' folder in the online storage drive mounted in your system. This folder contains the uploaded files. See 'Managing Your Files using the Drop Box' for an overview of the Drop Box feature. 3.1.2. Managing Your Files using Windows Explorer After logging into your account through the COS client, your online storage space is displayed as a local drive in Windows Explorer. 2011 Comodo Security Solutions Inc. To open Windows Explorer: All Windows systems click 'Start > Run type 'explorer' (minus quotes) in the search box or press Windows key + E from the key board. Windows XP/Vista/ 7 click 'Start > Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer and click 'My Computer' from the left hand side navigation pane. (Classic Start Menu) Windows XP/Vista/ 7 click 'Start > All Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer and click 'My Computer' from the left hand side navigation pane. (Default Start Menu) You can drag / drop files in or out of this drive as if it were a local drive. You can also play music and video files, edit documents and view photos directly without having to download them first. Copying/Moving Folder/Files Between Your Local System and Online Storage Space Comodo recommends you to have backups of your valuable files or folders in your online storage space, set with automatic synchronization. This way, you can always restore your valuable files from your online storage space, if those in your local storage are corrupted or deleted accidentally. Restoring the files from from your online storage space to your system, requires only copy and paste operation. You can copy or move the files and folders among your local system drives and the online storage drive through Windows Explorer. Tip: Use Control/Shift keys to select multiple folders/files at once. Click 'Edit' > 'Copy' or 'Edit' > 'Cut' from the menu bar or right click on the item and select 'Copy' or 'Cut' from the context sensitive menu. Navigate to the location (folder in local drive or online storage drive) into which you want to copy or move the item. Click Edit > Paste from the menu bar or right click and select 'Paste' from the context sensitive menu. Alternatively, you can select the folders/files to be copied, drag and drop to the destination folder. 3.1.2.2. Creating New Folders in Your Online Storage Space You can create new folders in your online storage space, as you do with your local storage drives through Windows Explorer. Alternatively, rightclick and select New > Folder from the contextsensitive menu. 3.1.2.3. Deleting Folders/Files from Your Online Storage You can delete files and folders in your online storage space, as you do with your local storage drives through Windows Explorer. Select the folder/file that you want delete in the online storage drive. Tip: Use Control/Shift keys to select multiple folders/files at once. Click 'File '> 'Delete' from the menu bar or press the 'Delete' key from the keyboard. The deleted folders/files will be sent to Recycle Bin in the system from which you have logged in. 3.1.2.4. Restoring Deleted Folders/Files The files/folders that you have deleted from the online storage space are moved to the Recycle Bin of the system from which you have loggedin. You can restore those files directly from the Recycle Bin easily. To restore the deleted folders/files from your online storage space, open Recycle Bin in your system, by double clicking on the Recycle Bin icon from the desktop, doubleclick on the folder/file and click 'Restore' in the File Properties dialog. Alternatively, open Recycle Bin in your system, by double clicking on the Recycle Bin icon from the desktop, rightclick on the deleted folder/file in your Recycle Bin and select 'Restore' from the contextsensitive menu. The folders/files will be restored to the online storage space. 3.1.2.5. Renaming Folders/Files in Your Online Storage Space You can rename files and folders in your online storage space, as you do with your local storage drives through Windows Explorer. Alternatively, rightclick on the folder/file that you want to rename and select 'Rename' from the contextsensitive menu. 3.1.2.6. Synchronization of Folders The Sync feature in the (COS) client allows synchronization of folders with their copies in your online storage space. Once set for automatic synchronization for a folder, the folder will be copied to the 'Sync' folder created in your online storage space and a synchronization schedule will be created and the changes made to the files inside the folder in your local storage will be automatically reflected in the online storage and viceversa. The time taken for synchronization depends on the size of the files and your Internet connection speed. To synchronize the contents of a folder 1. In Windows Explorer view, rightclick on a folder in your system that you want to sync with your online storage. 2. The folder will be marked with a special icon indicating that it is under synchronization with its copy at COS. The web based application allows you to login to your COS account from anywhere in the world and access your files at any time. This gives the convenience of uploading your files from your home or office computer and to download them from a remote site and viceversa. You need not carry huge amount of data in portable memory devices like DVD's, BD's, portable hard disk drives which are prone to be lost, stolen or corrupted. Also, your valuable files are stored in safely and passed on over Internet securely, preventing data theft during transit. This is useful when you are restoring corrupted/accidentally deleted files to your system or downloading your valuable files to a system different from the one from which you have uploaded, for example, you might have uploaded a file from your home computer and wish to download it to your work computer and viseversa. To download your files 1. Login to your account COS account through the web interface 2. Navigate to the file in the web interface. 3. This is very useful when you want to have date stamped backup files of different versions of an important file, renaming files created by dropping a piece of text, images, screen captures etc. as per your requirements and for quick identification. To rename a file 1. Login to your account COS account through the web interface 2. Navigate to the file/folder in the web interface and select it by ticking the check box beside it. 3. 3. Click 'Delete' from the left hand side navigation pane. A confirmation message will be displayed. 4. Click 'Yes'. The selected items will be removed from the folder in your online storage space. 3.2.8. Sharing your Files from Online Storage You can share your online storage files and folders through the web interface. To share file(s)/subfolders 1. Login to your account COS account through the web interface. 2. Navigate to the folder from which you wish to share the files/folders and select the items. 3. Click 'Share' from the left hand side navigation pane. Link icon files/folders 4. Click the link icon will be displayed at the end of the selected beside the file/folder that you want to share. The web address of the shared file will be displayed in a message box. 5. Send this web address to the person with whom you want to share the file or folder. 6. The web address of the shared file or folder can be entered or copied and pasted in the address bar of any browser by recipient to view the contents. To unshare file(s)/subfolders 1. Login to your account COS account through the web interface. 2. Navigate to the folder from which you wish to unshare the files/folders and select the items. You can select multiple shared items by selecting the check boxes beside them. 3. Click 'Unshare' from the left hand side navigation pane. The selected items will no longer be accessible to the recipients of the web addresses. Note: The web address of a shared item will remain unchanged as long as you don't unshare it. If you unshare it and share it again, the web address will be different and you may have to send the web address again to the person with whom you want to share the item. 3.2.9. Viewing the Log of Your Activities on COS COS stores a log of all activities carried out through the COS client installed in your system and through the web interface. 4. Using Live Help Comodo GeekBuddy is a remote assistance service offered by Security Experts in Comodo who can access your computer through their Remote Desktop. Should you need any assistance or encounter a problem with your system, you can get an immediate solution from our computer experts by clicking 'Get help from a Geek Buddy' from the 'About' Dialog of (COS). Register Click the 'Register' link from the Registration screen. You will be taken to the GeekBuddy sign up page. After you complete the sign up steps, your license key will be sent to you by email. Once you have registered, you have to activate your services. Activate your service Start the GeekBuddy client and click 'Activate your service' from the welcome screen. Enter the activation code you received through email and click 'Next'. Within seconds, a Comodo Support Technician will respond in a chat window and ask you to describe the problem. Getting Updates (COS) client checks for the latest version and updates automatically on start up. The COS client downloads the components of the updates using the update manager and informs the user on the required actions for the updated modules to function. You can also check for the program updates manually from the About dialog. To check for the updates 1. 2. Click 'Check for updates' from the about dialog. If there are any new updates available, you will be notified and the updates will be downloaded and installed. 6. Diagnostics (COS) client uses an automatic selfdiagnostic feature to detect and report if there are any installation or file corruption problems. The checks are done by many methods, depending on the item. For services ( e.g. Synchronization service, COS service), the diagnostics tool checks whether they are started and running properly. For application, executable and library files, the diagnostics tool looks for their current state checksum and hash and compares them with standard values etc. Drivers are also tested for positive response. 7. Web Interface or the Comodo BackUp Application, you can login to the Comodo Accounts Manager, a centralized account management system, using the same username and password. Comodo Accounts Manager (CAM) enables you to view your account details, upgrade your account for more storage space, renew your subscription, and subscribe for other Comodo products and services. You can login the Comodo Accounts Manager by two methods: Through the COS Web Interface; Through the CAM home page. Loggingin through the Web Interface Click 'Account Management' link at the top right corner of the COS Web Interface; You will be taken to your account page. Loggingin through CAM Home Page Visit https://accounts.comodo.com/ and click Login. Your account page will be opened. You can view your account details from the left hand side pane. The links at the right hand side enable you to: Upgrade your account (if you have signed up for free trial) or renew your subscription; Download the COS client and the Comodo Backup application; Manage your account and subscribe for other Comodo Products and Services; 7.1.Upgrading Your Account The Comodo Accounts Manager (CAM) interface enables you to upgrade your account, if you have already signedup for a free trial in order to purchase more online storage space and to renew your subscription, if it is due to expire. You will receive a confirmation email at the email address that you specified during your COS Account Creation and the additional storage space will be added to your account. 7.2.Download the COS client and the Comodo Backup application The Comodo Accounts Manager (CAM) interface also allows you to download the COS client and the Comodo Backup Application for installation to your system. To download COS Client and/or the CBU application 1. Login to the CAM interface 2. Click 'Download Online Storage client' or 'Download Comodo Backup Application' link from the right hand side pane depending on the item you want to download. Details on installing Comodo Backup is available in the dedicated Comodo Backup help guide at http://help.comodo.com/topic912812732comodobackupintroduction.html. 7.3.Managing Your Account The 'My Account' tab in the Comodo Accounts Manager (CAM) interface enables you to change your account/user details like your password, email address associated with your account etc. It also allows you to subscribe for other Comodo Products and services. To change your Contact address and other details, click 'Change Contact Information' from the left hand side navigation pane and fill up the form that appears and... click 'Submit'. To change your email address that is associated with your account, click 'Change Email Address' link from the left hand side navigation pane. Fillin the form that appears and... click 'Submit'. Only the email address attached to your account will be changed. Your username to login to Comodo Online Storage will remain same as that you entered during account creation. To change the details of the credit card(s) associated with your account, click 'Credit Cards Management' link from the left hand side panel. The details of the credit card you used earlier will be displayed. To add a new card, click Add Credit Card and fillin the form with the details of the new card. This will help in prepopulating your credit card details when your are renewing your subscription, purchasing additional online storage space or subscribing for other Comodo Products or Services. and on completion, the 'Uninstallation Complete' dialog will be displayed. Your computer needs to be restarted for the complete removal of the COS client. To complete the Uninstallation wizard and restart the computer, save and close any other running programs and click 'Finish'. If you plan to restart the computer at a later time, unselect the 'Reboot now' check box and click Finish.
