Integrated Mapping Superior versatility and integration in mapping is incorporated in Matrix 6.1. Users now have the option of a completely new workflow which provides dynamic and fully interactive map capabilities, without losing any existing functionality. New tabs allow users to quickly and easily toggle between the search form, results display, and a fully interactive map. To complement increased map functionality, the map menu bar has been revised and improved to include a robust selection of tools to maximize efficiency when working with the map. Please also note: The Locate Address mapping functionality has been moved. It can now be found in the Jump To dropdown menu. The default icon allows users to set their own starting map view. Multiple listings at same location are grouped with a numbered pin, which denotes the number of listings at that location. Matrix determines that listings are at the same location when their lat/long values are within 10 feet of each other. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 1 of 12
Top Menu 2.0 Top Menu 2.0 is an enhancement to the Matrix top menu, geared toward reducing the number of clicks required for navigation throughout Matrix. On hover, users will now see a dropdown menu with navigation selections visible at a glance. The Search menu dropdown has inherited the logic of the search page; it shows all search categories, as well as pinned search forms to make it faster for users to access their most commonly used searches. Other top menu changes include: Clicking on the search tab itself or the More link located at the bottom of the search dropdown will direct users to the search menu page. Hovering a search category with a horizontal arrow initiate a secondary fly out navigation window. The addition of an icon denoting tabs that re direct users to an external site, eg: The Logout top menu tab has been removed and replaced with a Logout link located next to the user Welcome message. The existing sub navigation bar has been removed as it was made redundant by the new top menu. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 2 of 12
Button Bar Consolidation In an effort to simplify the UI while viewing listing sets on the Results or Map tabs, Matrix 6.1 introduces a new consolidated button bar. Buttons for all actions that can be performed with listing results are found within this hierarchical button bar which remains consistent across result and map views. As a result, Goggles and Carts functionality has been moved from their original locations to the button bar, and the new button categories required the displacement of the page navigation links from the left page border to the right. 1) Actions this button view contains all primary actions users will perform with results 2) Refine this button view allows users to refine the result set 3) Save this button view provides all Save functionality 4) Carts this button view provides access to all cart actions Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 3 of 12
Print HTML Significant effort has been undertaken in 6.0 to deliver greater flexibility and a better result when printing listing displays. Behind the Print button, users will find a user friendly Print HTML interface which allows multiple displays to be printed at once, along with on the fly customization of the print output. In Matrix 6.1, the print button also replaces the Report button from previous versions; all printing functionality (including PDF generation) has been consolidated. After clicking the Print button, users will be presented with a Print Displays screen where the desired display(s) and options can be selected. From this tab, new HTML to PDF functionality allows users to output any Matrix display, along with on the fly options, to PDF which can also be emailed to customer portals. Note: Unlike other browsers, Google Chrome does not dependably respond to Print HTML commands. As such, the ability to print agent header/footer on every page is not available and page breaking behaviour is inconsistent. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 4 of 12
Print formatted reports are accessible from the Print Reports tab. Note the on the fly options do not apply for these reports. Photo Viewer 2.0 The photo viewer feature has been re visited and modernized in Matrix 6.1. A thumbnail photo viewer is shown inline on displays and a full size viewer is generated by clicking the resize button or directly on a photo. All existing photo viewing functionality has been maintained in this new version. In addition, an infinite photo loop has also been included (ie. loop back to the first photo from the last photo). Contact Categories In Matrix 6.1 users now have the ability to categorize their contacts. There are a total of twelve (12) customizable Categories available to all users. This interface is available to users via Edit Contact. In conjunction with this feature we have added a Contact filter, enabling users to filter their contact view by category. Statistics When saving customized statistics, users were previously required to Clear the existing chart title on the Customize tab and then navigate to the Save tab to enter a new one. In Matrix 6.1, changing a chart title can be completed inline without leaving the Customize tab. In addition, Stats will now return the exact number of results from which the statistic was calculated when this information is readily available. When the count is too expensive to generate, Matrix stats will continue to show the approximate number of results considered in the statistical calculation. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 7 of 12
Matrix Mobile New and Improved Matrix Mobile has been vastly enhanced in Matrix 6.1. Built specifically for smartphones, Matrix Mobile now presents a contemporary interface and greater functionality for the mobile agent. Due to space and size limitations inherent to the smartphone form, Matrix Mobile was designed to allow agents to execute more essential functions, while leaving complex workflows within the full desktop version of Matrix. A few notes about updated Matrix Mobile functionality: Saved Searches: Users can run and/or edited their existing saved searches in Matrix Mobile, but new saved searches cannot be created. Recent Searches: Recent searches in Matrix and Matrix Mobile will reflect searches that have been conducted in both applications. Contacts: Matrix Mobile displays a user s active contacts only. Note: Matrix Mobile was developed using jquery Mobile. A list of supported platforms is available at http://jquerymobile.com/gbs/. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 8 of 12
My Listings Work has been completed on the My Matrix > My Listings page to include the standard display picker that is in use throughout Matrix. This small, but significant, enhancement removes many previous limitations existing on this page; users can now specify the display and count per page (no more 10/page limitation), a well as set a default view that includes sort order. My Listings in Matrix 6.1 Note: the dropdown to select which listing set to show has moved from the top right corner of the display (standard display picker placement) to a new home below the My Listings page title. Portal Activity In an effort to keep agents apprised of client activity, Matrix 6.1 includes enhancements to the Recent Portal Visitors widget and a new Portal Activity page. Recent Portal Visitors widget The Recent Portal Visitors widget (already available on the Matrix homepage) now includes information about a contacts activity within their portal. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 9 of 12
Portal Activity Page The new Portal Activity page complements the Recent Portal Visitors widget by providing comprehensive details about a client s portal activities. This list is limited to 30 most recent events. CMA Enhancements Custom CMA Content Matrix 6.1 now allows users to upload custom PDF files for inclusion in their CMAs. Once these files are uploaded, they are stored within the MyMatrix database for the agents to use at their discretion. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 10 of 12
The Upload Custom Pages link, located on the Page tab of the CMA wizard directs users to a new My Custom CMA Pages dialogue. Here users can optionally include their header/footer package, change the order of their pages, and preview their page (an important step if the header/footer is included). By default: Users are limited to 5 My Custom Pages Each file is limited to a maximum size of 250kb Only letter size content can be properly accommodated (portrait or landscape) CMA Comparables Map A new Map tab in the CMA Wizard allows users to preview a map that illustrates the location of comparables in relation to the subject property. Please note that in Matrix 6.1 the CMA comparables map is static Matrix produces a best fit map panel based on the geo location of the property group. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 11 of 12
Default Sort Orders Many users have requested the ability to save custom sort orders, particularly for their hotsheet displays. In Matrix 6.1 users can save a default view, which specifies the default display, count per page, and sort order for each of the following: Searches Hotsheets Concierge CMA Comparables My Listings Clicking on the default gear located in the top right corner of any display generates a popup prompting the user to set the current view as their default: Search Removal of Display Picker: In previous versions of Matrix, search forms included a display picker and clicking on the gear icon located in the top right of any search screen would allow users to set their default search criteria, display, and count per page. The existence of the display picker on both the search forms and displays was an obstacle to allowing users to set default sort orders. As a result, the display picker has been removed from the search forms. Parent Child Listboxes: In previous versions of Matrix, Parent Child listboxes required the user to enter a parent value in order to populate the child options. This presented an obstacle to searching when the user had knowledge of the child value only. In Matrix 6.1, both Parent and Child listboxes are populated by default, and selections within each are linked. My Matrix Auto Email: Revising an auto email no longer sends a new opt in email to the recipient. Documentation Date: 1.10.2013 Page 12 of 12
