Tixi Alarm Modem GSM HG400 Data Sheet Page 2/5 Alarm and Fault Notifications Fault Notification Alarm Cascade Address Book Message Templates Features Automatic generation and dispatch of more than 100 fault notifications. Condition based monitoring of data may launch events. Message templates may include current values from PLC or Tixi Alarm Modem variables. Up to 100 predefined events may trigger any action(s). For confirmation of messages, several Alarm levels may be defined freely. Address book with more than 100 contacts, each holding fax, E-mail, Express-E-Mail and SMS address. More than 100 message templates may contain current variable values from PLCs or the Tixi Alarm Modem. Destination addresses and PLC variables are defined as references. Message length is not restricted (only by memory size). Data Logger Data Converter Data Logging Data Dispatch All data of local systems connected to the Tixi device (PLCs, meters, sensors etc) are managed by means of a neutral variable table (XML), independent of their origin. This allows local data to be translated from one system to another, e.g. meter data may be handed to a PLC or BMS (building management system). All values (e.g. PLC or meter values) may be logged on a regular basis, (e.g. every 1 min, 15 min, 1h, 1d, ) and be sent as E-Mail attachments at scheduled times or as a result of any event. Data is automatically compressed (binary format) and may be sent in any desired format, such as XML or Microsoft Excel CSV. Logged data may be sent frequently as E-Mail, Express-E-Mail, fax or SMS at defined time, or upon events. Their Format may be defined freely, e.g. XML or CSV (for use with Microsoft Excel). Embedded Webserver Webserver User-defined websites may contain XML placeholders and can be created by means of any HTML editor. These websites may display current data values, or feature custom input screens. Common Gateway Interface (CGI) allows dynamic read and write of Values and log data readout. Special Server Side Includes allow embedding of values and log data into websites. Remote Control Switch Command Confirmation Remote Switching commands may be sent via E-mail, Express-E-Mail or SMS to the Tixi Alarm Modem. These commands may include parameter values, e.g. setpoint values for PLC registers. If need be, the Tixi device may send confirmation messages upon receipt and execution of remote switching commands, in order to confirm positive or negative result of such. Programmable Features Scheduler Logical Operations Sequencer Arithmetic Operations Event Calendar may trigger the following actions: - Creation of logfile entries or dispatch of logfiles, - Switching I/Os or setting PLC variables, - Dispatch of periodic status messages - Automatic shift schedules may change the receiver of messages. Functions (e.g. AND, OR, XOR, NOT) and comparisons (e.g. GT, LT, EQ) applicable to variable values, even along with time schedules, may trigger actions. Time-dependent data arrays can be preset over a specific span of time, either via configuration or by message. E.g monitoring of current values and dispatch of messages in case that current values exceed min./max. curves (depending on a time grid of 15-min-steps up to one year). Several curve sets may be used in conjunction or as separate data sets. Simple arithmetics (ADD, SUB, MUL, DIV) allows calculation with PLC and variable values. Configuration Configuration via TiXML Security TiXML via GSM connection or COM1-RS232, SD-Card with Batch-File. TiXML is a well-documented open interface based upon XML. Programs or systems may communicate with Tixi devices using TiXML. Access to Tixi device and configuration can be restricted by username and password at several levels - separately for local and remote access
