When paired with NEC s UNIVERGE SV9000 Series Communications Platforms, the MLC Mobile revolutionizes the desktop experience and immediately transforms the way businesses use their personal devices. As a telephone, the MLC Mobile delivers a full multi-line self-labeling experience. A familiar Dterm GUI supports 32-line keys along with the most sought after SV9000 features including; Bluetooth compatibility. Network Requirements: Corporate WLAN must support QoS for VoIP. QoS for VoIP will improve voice quality and connection reliability. Refer to your WLAN equipment manufacturer for your network settings. LTE or off-site WLAN require a VPN connect to the company network for remote connections. The MLC Mobile can either be ordered through the shopping cart or under terminals. Software Updates: 1. MLC Mobile User License offers the user 5yrs of software updates for new OS versions and bug fixes. 2. Additional software updates after 5yrs will require system Software Assurance (SWA). 3. After 5yrs, MLC Mobile will continue to run if the MLC or OS is not updated. If either of these are updated, then system SWA will be required for service. Page 4
Multiple Devices 1 MLC Mobile User License! 1. The same user can have multiple devices and use the same MLC user license. a) 1 device for the office b) 1 device for the car c) 1 device for at home 2. The user must use the same HKC and extension number in all devices when activating. Device Replacement: 1. For new, lost or stolen devices users can activate their new device by using the same HKC and Ext. number. 2. The license will be moved to the new device. Device Extension Change (2 Methods): Method 1 (30 Day Extension Timeout) 1. When a MLC Mobile extension is not turned for more than 30 days. The user license is released and can be assigned to another extension. Method 2 (Expedite NEC Customer Service) 1. Contact NEC Customer service with Site Location, Extension Number and Device Mac Address to be released. 2. NECAM will send the request to BizRTC. 3. BizRTC will report back when the license is released. Tech Support requires Software Assurance (SWA): 1. 1 st tier NTAC Support for PBX programming and MLC Client configuration. 2. 2 nd tier BizRTC support for client issues and setup. Minimum Required System User Licensing and Ports: SV9100: Qty. 1 SV9100 RESOURCE LIC-01 Qty. 1 SV9100 STANDARD USER- LIC 01 o SV9100 Basic User License is for the Voice, VM and UM ONLY user. Does not include UC Suite. o SV9100 Premium User Licenses should be ordered to add UC Suite to MLC Mobile users. Page 5
SV9300: Qty. 1 - SV93 BASIC USER-1 LIC o SV93 Basic User License is for the Voice ONLY user. Includes UC Manger functions but does not include VM/UM. o SV93 Standard, Standard Plus and Premium User Licenses should be ordered to add VM/UM/UC to MLC Mobile users. SV9500: Qty. 1 SV95 BASIC USER-1 LIC o SV95 Basic User License is for the Voice ONLY user. Includes UC Manger functions but does not include VM/UM. o SV95 Standard, Standard Plus and Premium User Licenses should be ordered to add VM/UM/UC to MLC Mobile users. MLC Mobile User License Activation: Order MLC Mobile User from Anytime Studio Attach the licenses to the customer location in the LMS. The license is automatically activated. Enter your system Hardware Key Code in the MLC and activate the client. o Internet access through the LTE or Wi-Fi network is required for MLC Mobile for activation. Page 6
