SharePoint 2016 Administrator's Survival Camp Installing and Managing SharePoint 2016 in an On -premises Environment Course Code Audience Format Length Course Description Student Prerequisites SSC2016 Administrators Instructor led training with hands-on labs 5 Days This 5-day hands-on course teaches you how to install and manage SharePoint Server 2016. The lectures and lab exercises walk you through the steps of creating and configuring service applications and web applications to build out an on-premises farm with SharePoint 2016 functionality for managed metadata, user profiles, OneDrive for Business, search and external hybrid connections to Office 365. You will get hands-on experience with the Business Data Connectivity Service (BCS), the Secure Store Service, the Managed Metadata Services, the User Profile Service, the Search Service and the newly introduced Cloud Search Service in SharePoint 2016. This course will teach you SharePoint administration techniques using both Central Administration and Windows PowerShell. You will learn how to work with the SharePoint logging and health monitoring tools as well as how to configure a web application to support Windows authentication with Kerberos and SSL. The course examines how to deploy and manage a SharePoint 2016 environment with custom components such as SharePoint solutions.
