How to Sign Up using SignUpGenius This is a reminder system for those who sign up to pray during worship services. We are so grateful for those who lift our church up in prayer. SignUpGenius is just a tool to help us remember the commitment we have made. Unfortunately, relatively often, one or none of the volunteers remember. A reminder email is sent about 8 days before your Sunday to pray, and another one 2 days before. If you RSVP Yes, others who are scheduled to pray can see that someone else will be praying with them. If you RSVP No, and you can't find a substitute, the prayer team will be notified to try to find a substitute. If you set up a SignUpGenius account you can enable SignUpGenius to send you a text 2 days before, since many of us don t check email regularly, and reminder emails get lost in all the spam. Note: If you are willing to serve as a last minute substitute prayer warrior occasionally, please email fbcrr.prayerteam@gmail.com and volunteer. The prayer team will send you an email indicating that there is an open slot, and you can choose to fill the slot. Or you can go to the www.fbcrr.org/worshipprayer web page, click on the SignUpGenius icon, and see who has used RSVP to volunteer to pray for any service. You can also use SignUpGenius to volunteer for any service. The RSVP sign-up gives other volunteers, pastors and the prayer team confirmation that there are people praying during the service. So your RSVP is a record of your plan to pray during worship services, but is NOT required. You can also check your name on the list by the door in room B-105 to let people know you came to pray. When you open your email, click on Sign Up
Click on RSVP NOW to indicate Yes or No whether you plan to pray during the worship service in room B-105.
If you already HAVE an account you can login to respond, but you DO NOT need to set up a SignUpGenius account to RSVP, though you will not get a text reminder. Click I do not have a SignUpGenius account and enter your First and Last name, and your Email address twice. If you want to create an account, check the Create an account If you want a confirmation email with a file that will update your calendar program, check Send me a.. Be sure to fill in whether you will be attending and if your RSVP is for more than one person. Others can view your personal message, so confirming with a personal message can be helpful. Click the Update RSVP button.
If you want to share with other people this opportunity to pray for God to change hearts, those of you on social media can share your enthusiasm for this ministry. If you want to receive the reminder as a text, or both as text and email, you must create a SignUpGenius account. Since you will have to do a password, etc. I will not document that. But you ONLY need to do so if you want to receive reminders as text OR if you want to set up your own meetings They have not sent a single spam email to me in the 10 months I have been using the site, and they have not sold or distributed the fbcrr.prayerteam@gmail.com email. An email reminder will be sent to all the prayer volunteers 8 days ahead and 2 days ahead for your week, saying that it is your turn. If you RSVP and have set it up, a text reminder will come 2 days ahead of your turn to come to pray for God to move in our worship services. However, the important thing is praying for the worship service, not letting us know you plan to do so.
Setting Up a Text Reminder If you want to receive a text, Click Settings, then Profile, then enter your Mobile phone number and carrier. Then click the Update Profile button.
