Only one CDMA number is eligible for the subscription of Basic Plan. 2. This promotion offer is a monthly plan. Service(s) in the package is only available in the respective service month. 3. Customers subscribing this pre-paid package have to settle a deposit of CNY 100 for basic fee. The deposit will be fully refunded to customers account upon service subscription, while deduction of international communication fees to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and CP/SP fees are not available. The deposit is also nonrefundable and non-transferrable. 4. Designated data usage package(s) and optional package(s) can be combined with this promotional offer. For details, please refer to China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Terms and Conditions of Promotion for E-Surfing 4G Data Usage Plan for Designated Applications and China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Terms and Conditions of Promotion for E-Surfing 4G Optional Packages (the Terms and Conditions of above packages at the time of your service subscription shall prevail). 5. The mobile Internet access is compatible with local 4G, 3G and 2G network access. No extra payment shall be paid if the domestic data usage by mobile device(s) does not exceed the maximum limit of the package. For additional domestic data usage below 100MB, CNY 0.3/MB will be charged; additional domestic data usage within 100MB-500MB will be free of charge, while additional domestic data usage beyond 500MB will be charged in accordance with the above rule (i.e. every 500MB exceeded will be charged CNY 30), and by this analogy. (Data usage under 1KB will be rounded up to the nearest 1KB and charges under CNY 0.01will be rounded up to the nearest CNY 0.01). 6. The user-id of WIFI plans is the number(s) of the cell phone(s). The password will be sent through SMS for secure login to China Telecom WLAN network. Fee will be charged on basis of standard service charge. 7. All customers of the above plans are entitled to a free 189 mailbox for email communication, with user-id identical to the phone number of the main SIM card. 189 mailbox provides WEB mailbox and mobile mailbox functions. 8. For this promotional offer, charges of the basic package will become effective on the first day of the following month after the subscription application is accepted. Before the standard charges become effective, charges will be calculated according to the following: New Customer: The basic monthly fee for the first month of subscription application is waived. Data allowance for the first month is calculated on a prorata basis: Number of days remaining from the day of subscription / Number of days in the current month rounded to the nearest integer (data usage is charged by the KB). Local incoming calls are free. Service charges for the 189 Mailbox and Caller Display service in the package as well as relevant one-off charges are waived. Excessive domestic mobile data usage and voice calls are charged at the
standard rates of the package. For all other unspecified charges, the current effective standard rates apply. Existing Customer: If under the original package charges incurred in the current month are due in the next month, then the charges of the original package will continue to apply in the month of subscription change, until the standard charges of the package of this promotional offer become effective. Value added services that are activated during this time (which are not included in the original package) are charged at the standard rates for the relevant services. 9. The services, mobile data, Wi-Fi internet connection and SMS/MMS functions can only be delivered to handsets that support the said services and/or functions. 10. Domestic data usage of the mobile device is capped at CNY 600 per month, including the 4G/3G/2G services domestic charge beyond the Package fee, while the basic monthly fee, SMS/MMS, voice, WLAN, other value-adding service charge and the function fees of all the designated data packages are not included. Within the CNY 600 limit, customers are eligible to use 15GB domestic data usage at most (not including data usage from designated data usage package(s)). 4G/3G/2G/WLAN Internet access will be discontinued automatically when the maximum limit of data usage is exceeded. Any value-adding services provided for Internet access will not be available upon service termination. Wireless Internet access will be reactivated upon the next service month. If customers want to reactivate the service in the month of service discontinuation, please visit our sales outlet or call 10000. Additional charge of CNY 0.3/MB is incurred for usage below 100MB. All additional charge will be waived for usage in between 100MB to 500MB. For usage over package limit an additional charge of CNY 30/ 500 MB will be incurred, and by this analogy. Data usage will be calculated on a pay-as-you-go basis of CNY 0.0003/KB (usage under 1KB will be rounded up to the nearest 1KB and charges under CNY 0.01 will be rounded up to the nearest CNY 0.01). Maximum usage will be restored in the next service month. 11. All charges regarding our service not mentioned in our terms and conditions are charged in accordance with current standard charging scheme. VI. Points-to-note for Customers: 1. This package is validated in the next service month after service activation. If the services of this cannot be provided, China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch is obligatory to inform customer of the cancellation of promotion offer in one month s advance notice. Customers who have not subscribed combined contracts, are not bounded by contractual agreement period or have reached the expiry date of the contract are eligible to change the existing service package to other service plans or cancel the service (including account termination) by following the respective procedures, and promotion offer (includes optional packages) will be terminated. Customers are eligible to subscribe other available E-Surfing 4G packages, while changed service plans will be effective on the first day of the next service month. 2. For individual customers, please present your real and valid personal ID card. For corporations and government customers, please present relevant registration details for service subscription (If the subscription is done by others, please also
ask your attorney to present his or her original personal ID upon service subscription). 3. If the mobile device is registered with other China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch promotions with ongoing service validity, the subscription will be deemed invalid by China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch. 4. Customers who have not settled outstanding service charges are eligible to join this offer upon clearance. 5. Sufficient account balance shall be maintained upon activation of pre-paid package. Account balance should be tantamount to or higher than the payment for service combinations and options. Insufficient account balance may result in service suspension and termination by China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch. All outstanding payment shall be settled via top up procedures (note: top up procedures can be attained via the purchase of top up card or through our sales representatives in sales outlets). Upon completion of top up, outstanding payment will first be settled. With sufficient account balance, China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch will reactivate service within 24 hours. All suspended service accounts can be reactivated via top up procedures. China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch reserves the right to terminate service permanently for service suspension over 90 days. 6. Customers benefit from their voluntary use of CDMA UIM card provided by China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch. During the service period, if the UIM card is lost, stolen or damaged caused by misuse, customers can apply for temporary suspension, reissue or replacement with additional charges. Reissue and replacement of card is charged with the standard charging scheme. 7. China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch is not responsible for any CDMA irregularity caused by terminal devices and will not be liable to any reimbursement in the form of service fee reduction. 8. After activation of UIM card, please change your password immediately for security purpose. Customers are responsible for all transactions validated via their confidential password. 9. Mobile Internet access may have unstable connection speed or failure in connection in some locations. Internet access while roaming depends on the network coverage of respective locations. Your understanding is highly appreciated. 10. Please be noted that this package is not compatible with the activation and usage of international roaming. VII. China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch provides service in accordance with Terms and Conditions on Telecommunications of the People's Republic of China. Legal responsibility is incurred in case of breach or violation. VIII. The above Terms and Conditions are an appendix of China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Services Agreement, China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Mobile Phone Network Agreement. If the above agreements conflict with the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall apply and prevail. China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Customer Registration Form is a component of the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions will be effective upon
authorization by customers signature of the registration form. Signature of the registration form will be regarded as confirmation and acknowledgement of the Terms and Conditions and the above agreements.
