The Advanced Reconstruction feature allows for read acceleration during data recovery. CORE TECHNOLOGY Silent Data Corruption Protection By analyzing RAID-metadata, the unique RAIDIX algorithm enables easy detection and remediation of silent data corruption incidents (errors in drivers, firmware and memory, disk surface damage, etc.) in the course of standard disk operations with no performance degradation. Scanning and bug fixing is performed in the background at low-load times. 14

CORE TECHNOLOGY Partial reconstruction Allows the system to restore data from a specific hard drive area, thus decreasing the overall array reconstruction time. The array space is split into 2048 sectors that are being tracked for changes. The reconstruction only takes place in the sectors where data block changes were registered. Partial reconstruction is a highly efficient solution for large data arrays. 16
