Powell Lenses Fan angle, deg Laser beam width, The Powell lens has an advantage over cylindrical lenses because later one produces a poorly illuminated line, limited by the non-uniform Gaussian laser beam. Huge spherical aberration redistribute light along the line, decreasing the light in the central area while increasing the light intensity at the line s end. The outcome is uniformly illuminated line used in all manner of machine vision applications. Achromatic Lenses Cemented achromatic duplet lenses are optimized to provide excellent chromatic and spherical aberrations free performance. Optimized composition of two lenses, where one is made of dense flint and second of crown glass, assures much tighter focus than singlet spherical lenses due to minimized longitudinal and transverse spherical aberrations. They also feature nearly constant focal length across wide range of wavelengths. Standard achromatic duplet lenses cover two ranges visible (400 nm 700 nm) and near infrared (700 nm 1050 nm). Single line, dual line and different than standard broadband configurations are also available. If you do not have design or drawing of required achromatic lens, Altechna engineers will help you to make one. Please contact Altechna by phone or email for drawings and Zemax files. 1 + 2 Optimal wavelength range, nm AR coating +30 1-AL-1-A127-[7A00] 85 +50 1-AL-1-B127-[7A00] 85 +75 1-AL-1-C127-[7A00] 85 +100 1-AL-1-A254-[7A00] 105 +125 1-AL-1-B254-[7A00] 105 +150 1-AL-1-C254-[7A00] 105 +200 1-AL-1-D254-[7A00] 105 +250 400-700 VIS (400-700 nm) 1-AL-1-E254-[7A00] 105 +300 1-AL-1-F254-[7A00] 105-50 1-AL-1-D127-[7A00] 90-75 1-AL-1-E127-[7A00] 90-100 1-AL-1-F127-[7A00] 90-150 1-AL-1-G254-[7A00] 110-200 1-AL-1-H254-[7A00] 110-250 1-AL-1-J254-[7A00] 110 Related products and accessories 4LM13-40 Self-Centering Lens/ Optics Mount Plano-Convex Lenses (PCX) Refer to page 28 All type of material are available to design the optimal achromats eter tolerance +0.0/-0.1 ±0.1 60-40 S-D λ/4@ Protective chamfers <0.25 x 45 VIS and NIR broadband standard designs Available in two standard diameters: 12,7 and 25,4 Nearly aberration free performance Customized lenses available R 2 H R 3 R 2 R 3 H +30 1-AL-2-A127-[7B00] 95 +50 1-AL-2-B127-[7B00] 95 +75 1-AL-2-C127-[7B00] 95 +100 1-AL-2-A254-[7B00] 125 +125 1-AL-2-B254-[7B00] 125 +150 1-AL-2-C254-[7B00] 125 +200 1-AL-2-D254-[7B00] 125 +250 700-1050 NIR (700-1050 nm) 1-AL-2-E254-[7B00] 125 +300 1-AL-2-F254-[7B00] 125-50 1-AL-2-D127-[7B00] 100-75 1-AL-2-E127-[7B00] 100-100 1-AL-2-F127-[7B00] 100-150 1-AL-2-G254-[7B00] 135-200 1-AL-2-H254-[7B00] 135-250 1-AL-2-J254-[7B00] 135 Circular Variable Neutral Density Filters Refer to page 101 Custom design production is available Mass production capabilities: 4 000 pieces per month Other dimensions are available in small and mass production quantities t c1 t c2 40 41
