Remote Control Functions Overview IR Headphones button Switch the IR headphones channel. Power button Turn this device on/off. Source button Switch the input source. Getting Started Installing Cinema Pro in Vehicle This device is specifically designed to be mounted behind the driver and/or passenger seat(s). 1 Remove the headrest(s) and carefully route the cable(s). For Uno Cinema Pro Route the T-cable into the hole of the pole on the seat. EN-12

For Duo Cinema Pro Route the T-cable 2 and T-cable 3 into the holes of the poles on each side of the seat. Then from the bottom of the seat, connect both ends of the T-cable 2 and T-cable 3 to the T-cable 1 connectors. 2 Replace the headrest(s) into place. 3 Remove the screws to release both locking latches on the stanchion mount. EN-13

4 Position the bracket on the bars of the headrest. Fasten the screws on both locking latches to fix the bracket firmly on the bars. 5 Connect the player with the AV/Power cable (one end of the car power cable) as shown in the following illustration. 6 Slide the mount slot of the player into the backplate of the stanchion mount fully until it clicks into place. Note: To remove the player from the stanchion mount, pull and hold the release latch upwards and then slide the player off to disengage the connection. Basic Connection For proper connection method, refer to the illustration below. Cigarette Charger EN-15

Turning the Power On/Off Make sure the cigarette charger is properly connected to the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle. Turn the Power On If the Auto Power function is enabled, this device will automatically turn on when the vehicle engine starts up. Otherwise, press the button to manually turn this device on. Note: To enable the Auto Power function, refer to Auto Power Menu on page 30. Turn the Power Off Press and hold the button for at least 2 seconds to turn this device off. Note: You can also turn off this device by touching the key on the player. EN-16

Making Connection This section guides you on how to insert a DVD disc and connect your Cinema Pro to an external device. Note: Do not unplug the USB flash drive or disconnect the cable connection during the file playback. Insert the DVD Disc 1 On the player, press the Open button and carefully open the disc cover. 2 Place the disc in the compartment with the label facing up. Make sure that it is completely seated in the indent. 3 Close the disc cover by gently pressing until it clicks into place. EN-17

Connect to HDMI Input Source You can use this device to play your favorite multimedia content (videos, pictures, and music) from your portable device (i.e. smartphone or tablet). 1 Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI1/HDMI2 port of the player. 2 Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of the portable device. Insert USB Flash Drive You can also use this device to play your files stored in the USB flash drive. Simply plug in the USB flash drive to the USB port of the player. Note: To copy your favorite multimedia files, plug in the USB flash drive into your computer USB port and transfer the files to the root directory of the USB flash drive. EN-18

Connect Headphones Cinema Pro is equipped with built-in speakers. However, you may also use a set of headphones for personal listening. To use headphones, just plug in your headphone cable into the headphone jack of the player. With the built-in IR transmitter, you can use wireless headphones. When the IR headphone is connected to the player, you can select the channel your prefer by simply pressing the button on the remote control. Press the button repeatedly to toggle the IR headphones channel. Channel A Channel B Off Note: When the headphones are connected, the speakers of Cinema Pro will be muted. When the IR headphones are connected, the built-in speakers are not muted. To adjust the volume level of the speakers, do the following: B On the player, you can adjust the volume level by touching the or key on the device or pressing the volume button ( or ) on the remote control. To mute the speakers, press the button on the remote control. To avoid hearing damage, it is highly recommended to set the volume level to its minimum level first before plugging in the headphones. Monitor Sharing (Duo Cinema Pro only) With this function, you can configure both players to play the same media content simultaneously. 1 Select the player that you want to be the primary screen. Then press the button. 2 Press the or button to select (Monitor Sharing). 3 Press the button to confirm the selection. Both players will display the same screen. EN-20

Screen Mirroring With Your Smartphone With this function, you can mirror the content from your Android or ios portable device (i.e. smartphone or tablet) to your player wirelessly. 1 Press the button. 2 Press the or button to select (Screen Mirroring). 3 Press the button to confirm the selection. Your player is now ready for connection. 5 Enable the Screen Mirroring function. Then select your player (i.e. NEXTBASE XXX) from the device list. Once connected, your smartphone display will be mirrored on the screen. Note: The available Screen Mirroring function may vary depending on the device UI or its operating system. Android device ios device EN-22

Configuring the Settings General Operations Switch the Input Source Cinema Pro Instruction Manual By default, this device is in DVD mode when it is turned on. To switch the input source, perform the following: 1 Press the button. Note: You can also switch the input source by touching the key on the player. Touch the key repeatedly to toggle the input source. Touch the key to confirm the selection. Using the Function Menu To access the Function menu during playback, perform the following: 1 Press the button to bring up the Function menu. 2 Use the,,, or button to select the desired function. 3 Press the button to confirm the selection. 4 Press the button repeatedly to change the setting. Note: The Function menu will disappear within 3 seconds if there is no operation. Menu Display the DVD menu. Zoom Zoom the picture on the screen. Title Display the DVD title. Information Display the playback information about title/ chapter elapsed or remaining time. Return Return to the DVD menu. Search Locate the chapter to play. A-B Repeat Playback Specify a segment of a file to play repeatedly. Repeat Select the repeat mode. Angle Switch angle. Subtitle Change the subtitle language. Audio Change the audio language. Playback Speed Slow playback at 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, or 1/16 speed. EN-25

Adjusting the Volume Level To adjust the volume level, do the following: Press the button on the remote control or touch the key on the player to decrease the volume level. Press the button on the remote control or touch the key on the player to increase the volume level. Adjusting the Screen Brightness To switch the screen brightness, perform the following: 1 Press the button to bring up the main menu. 2 By default, the Settings Menu ( ) appears on the screen. Press the button repeatedly to select (Brightness). Then press the button to enter its submenu. Language Brightness Contrast Saturation Hue 3 Press the or button to adjust the setting. Note: The OSD menu will disappear within 3 seconds if there is no operation. EN-26

Enable/Disable the resume function. When this function is enabled, the DVD system will remember the point in a DVD when the button was pressed during playback. When the button is pressed again, the playback will begin from the stop point. Note: Resume Function may not be available on some DVD discs.
