NEW: Smart Direct Key Programming You may think that it is diffi cult to program keys. Especially on new cars after year 2009 with immobiliser generation 6G. This cars have advanced immobiliser security system that contains pin, component security and long key learning procedures that requires expensive key programmers to precode key/transponders and unlock immobiliser. However, NOW with Smart Direct Key Programming it can not be easier if you have at least one working key. You can add more keys within few minutes, just few clicks and no need of key programmer. All is done simply via OBD. All you need is SuperVAG KEY and empty transponder. There are two options how to add keys to car: 1. precoding of transponder 2. or simple method SuperVAG Smart Direct Key Programming What you need SuperVAG KEY Empty transponder At least one working key Direct Key Programming is the smart solution offered by SuperVAG Tool. With this method, you do not need any key/transponder programmer. You just click Key learning/ programming function and enter required number of keys to be add. Program starts programming mode in dashboard and shows data on the dashboard display number of learned keys and number of keys required to be learned (for example 0 2. 0 keys learned, 2 keys required to learn). NOTE: New keys will not be as clones. Every key is unique and have its own ID. Step 1 - Start key programming Select car model and click on Key programming button Click on Key learning (no PIN needed) button 2
Step 2 - Set number of keys to learn and insert every key into ignition Press number of keys - program asks you how many keys you want to learn (total). It means all working keys plus all new keys. Enter number of keys and press YES. Step 3 - Insert every key into ignition Turn it into position 2 (indicator goes on) and than remove key and continue with next key. You must do this procedure with all keys you want to learn including original key you started with. Click on NO if something is not right, for example car does not start, and dashboard will be restored into original state from saved data. Original key will work and will not be erased. Repeat the procedure again. Click on YES if everything is all right, car starts and you can see odometer state. Program will write new keys into memory of dashboard. DONE Step 4 - confirm all changes Last step - keys are now learned. But program still keeps old data untill you confi rm changes. In this step, fi rst check that engine starts with every key. Than look at dashboard if you can see odometer state/value. If you can not see odometer state and there is still key counter for example 1 6 that mean key learning was not successfull and dashboard did not fi nish key programming mode - as you can see on following picture. When you have no working key, SuperVAG has easy and fast sollution for All key lost situation too. You do not need expensive programmer or to do any soldering. SuperVAG has developed special click-on cables SVG149 and SVG157 to solve such a situation. See section All key lost for more details. 3
All Key Lost Solution Procedure If you are in the All Key Lost situation (with no working key), the data cannot be read. You must get the instrument cluster into the Service mode all fi rst using special designed clipon cables SuperVAG SVG 149 for NEC dashboards or SVG 157 for MICRONAS dashboards (without this device you cannot continue). After you fi nish All key lost procedure, dashboard is unlocked and you can get into programming mode and start direct key programming. Applicable to Dashbards VDO UDS or Micronas 2009 2012 NOTE: For dashboards Magneti Marelli, there is possible to add key just with direct key programming via OBD even without valid key. Connect this SuperVAG cable to the SuperVAG USB interface and power supply (12V) Select car model and click on Key programming button Click on Key learning (no PIN needed) button Step 3 - Start all key lost procedure You do not have working key in ignition. Program tells you that you can continue only with connected cable SVG 149 or SVG 157. Without this device you cannot continue. Clip-on cable SVG 149 for NEC dashboards Step 4 - Connect pogo pin Clip-on cable SVG 157 for MICRONAS dashboards Now follow program instructions. Program tells you to turn switch on SVG cable to position 0. Display goes OFF. 5

You must connect pogo pin to the right position on dashboard. Pogo pin is part of SVG cable. You can fi nd right position of pogo pin on our website. DONE Now you can go on direct key programming and continue with learning of new keys. When pin is connected, turn power supply ON and press OK button.
