The Florida Supreme Court has authorized the Monroe County Clerk of Courts to provide the public with electronic access to many court records as well as nonconfidential documents, pursuant to Administrative Orders AOSC14-19 and AOSC15-18. Using this pilot system you can search for criminal, civil, traffic, family and probate cases. Page 2

Let s search for a case. Begin by clicking Search All Page 4
You can search by Name (first, middle, last), by Business name, case number or citation number You can filter your search with a date range. See Search Tips and information on case number formats here. Some documents cannot be viewed because they are confidential, as explained here. Page 5
Let s do a search By case number Enter 15ca135m or 15-ca-135-m into the Case Number field. Page 6
You can expand or minimize a panel by clicking the arrow. The case information is displayed in groups such as parties, docket events, charge details, etc. Page 7
Documents associated with docket events have icons to describe the security level of the document. Green is public; Blue is confidential; Red is Sealed and the icon that looks like a clock face denotes a document pending redaction. Page 8
Let s search for cases by name. Enter first and last name. If you want to limit your search you can filter by entering a date range. Page 9
The search found 96 cases for people with a first name of John and a last name of Johnson. You can now search for the case you re looking for by entering a key word in the search box To further limit the search results you could have entered a middle name Page 10
As you enter letters into the search box your result set will automatically be reduced. Page 11
To view a document just click on the green icon. NOTE: In some cases you ll see a green icon but the document is not viewable because of specific security rules. For example, anonymous public users cannot view documents on family or probate cases by state law even though they are stored as public documents. Page 12
After clicking the green icon the document will be displayed. Page 13
To report an issue with an image click the report issue link Page 14
Complete the form and press submit. This will send an email to the Clerk s Office so that someone can check the image and correct the issue. You can select one of the following reasons for reporting an issue: Image displays confidential data Image is blank/flipped/unreadable Image does not belong to case Image does not belong to docket Other (details in comments) Please provide contact information so that a person in the Clerk s office can reach you If more information is required. When done, click the Submit button. Page 15
