CONTRACT LOOKUP Page 4 of 25

CONTRACT LOOKUP The Contract Lookup area of IAS CONNECT allows you to search for contracts administered by IAS. Once a contract is located, you can view additional details of the contract, vview claims history for that contract, initiate a new claim for certain types of contracts, and initiate a cancellation for non-expired and non-cancelled contracts. You must be logged in prior to accessing the Contract Lookup area of IAS CONNECT, and your login must have permission. Certain actions, such as initiating a claim or a cancellation, require additional permissions to be set. LOOKING UP A CONTRACT Access the Contract Lookup area by clicking on the CONTRACT LOOKUP icon on the main page, or by clicking on Contract Lookup in the menu bar which is shown on all pages throughout the site. The Contract Lookup page has three general areas of importance. The top most section, labeled (1) in the figure below, is an area where search parameters are supplied. Dealer selection, labeled (2) in the figure below, allows you to select a dealer in which to search, leaving this field defaulted to (All Dealers) is recommended during most searches. Under that is an area listing out any contracts which match the search parameters, labeled (3) in the figure below. You must enter at least one search parameter to conduct a search. You can supply as many parameters as necessary to locate the contract. The buyer first and last name fields allow you to do a partial starts with search. Once search parameters have been entered, click the Search button to perform the query. Any contracts matching the search parameters will be shown in the results grid. Page 5 of 25

PERFORMING ADDITIONAL ACTIONS WITH LOCATED CONTRACTS General information is displayed for each located contract. To see additional contract details, click on the row representing the contract, which will cause that row to expand and list out the additional information. To view claims history for any located contract, click the View claims on this contract button " in the Actions column for that contract, labeled (1) in the figure below. # CLAIMS Page 7 of 25

CLAIMS The Claims area of IAS CONNECT allows you to search for claims filed on IAS contracts, upload documents related to pending claims, and file new claims online. You must be logged in prior to accessing the Claims area of IAS CONNECT, and your login must have the appropriate permission(s). To access the Claims section, click on the Claims button on the IAS CONNECT home page, or click on Claims in the top navigation menu. LOOKING UP A CLAIM From the Claims page, you can add and find claims, or filter the presented default list, sorting by claim status, product, dealers and recent months. Under that is an area listing out any claims which match the search parameters. Once search parameters have been adjusted, any claims matching the search parameters will be shown in the result grid below. Click the Find a claim button for an even more detailed search filter. Page 8 of 25

The Find a claim button opens a window with more advanced search options to locate the claim. You must enter at least one search parameter to conduct a search. You can supply as many parameters as necessary to locate the contract. The buyer first and last name fields allow you to do a partial starts with search. VIEWING CLAIM DETAILS General information is displayed for each located claim. To see additional claim details, click on the magnifying glass icon in the Actions column next to the claim you wish to view, labeled (4) in the figure above. The detailed view of a claim will vary depending on claim status, but a sample is shown below. Note that this page dynamically shows/hides information based on availability, so certain claim types will display substantially more or less information than others. Click the magnifying glass ( ) under the Actions column to see details on the claim. Click the upload icon ( ) under the Actions column to upload photos for the claim. Page 9 of 25

UPLOADING CLAIM PHOTOS For claims under certain status, the IAS Claims Department may request additional photos or documentation. You can upload such information directly from the claim detail screen. Users will only see the Submit photos for this claim button when claims are in PENDING. To upload the photos, click the Submit photos for this claim button at the bottom of the claim detail screen. Multiple files can be uploaded simultaneously using this interface. Page 10 of 25

CREATING A CLAIM To start a new claim using IAS CONNECT, you must first utilize the Contract Lookup functionality to find the contract record. Once you have located the contract and are ready to file the claim, click on the Initiate claim button # in the Actions column next to the contract, labeled (1) in the figure below. Note that IAS CONNECT currently supports the online filing of claims for only tire and wheel contracts. Additional claim types will be added in the future. The online claims process is a guided, step by step process that varies from contract to contract. It always starts with an overview screen which explains the guidelines and rules related to automatic authorization. With IAS CONNECT, there are four possible outcomes when a claim is filed online: APPROVED WITH AUTOMATIC AUTHORIZATION The vast majority of claims filed will result in approval with automatic authorization, meaning that no additional paperwork or documentation will be required to pay the claim. APPROVED WITHOUT AUTOMATIC AUTHORIZATION Certain claim parameters, such as a high repair cost or extensive damage, will require additional research from the IAS Claims Team. In these cases, you will receive approval without automatic authorization, meaning that the claim will not be paid until that documentation has been received and processed. DENIED Certain claim parameters will result in an automatic claim denial. In these cases, you will clearly see that the claim has been denied, along with an explanation. Before proceeding with filing an online claim, be sure and have all information related to the vehicle and claim available. You will need the vehicle mileage at the time of loss and the repair order and/or invoice for the repair. Once you have this information ready, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the online claims process. Keep in mind that once you ve filed your claim, whether online or via the IAS call center, you can utilize IAS CONNECT to track the status of the claim if it was not approved with automatic authorization. $% CANCELLATIONS Page 12 of 25

CANCELLATIONS The Cancellations area of IAS CONNECT allows you to initiate the cancellation process for a non-expired, non-cancelled IAS contract. The end-result of the Cancellations process is that a new cancellation quote will be generated, complete with all contract and other necessary information. Once the cancellation quote has been generated, that quote, along with any supporting documentation, must be submitted to the IAS Cancellations Team. The preferred method would be to upload through CONNECT (see below), or submit via fax, email or postal mail. GENERATING A CANCELLATION QUOTE Access the Contract Lookup area by clicking on the CONTRACT LOOKUP icon on the main page, or by clicking on Contract Lookup in the menu bar which is shown on all pages throughout the site, then locate the contract to be cancelled. For additional information on the Contract Lookup process, review the Contract Lookup section of this user s guide. To access the cancellation quote generator, click on the Cancel contract icon $% next to the contract to be cancelled. You will be redirected to a page which will ask for any additional information needed to cancel the contract, as shown in the image below. On this page, supply valid information for all required fields, then click Submit to generate the cancellation quote. Note that based on the cancellation reason, different and/or additional documentation may be required to finalize the cancellation. Once all information has been correctly entered, a cancellation quote will be generated. Remember that this cancellation quote needs to be submitted to the IAS Cancellations Team. The preferred method would be to upload through CONNECT, or submit via fax, email or postal mail. To upload through CONNECT, click on Cancelations, locate and select your WAITING quote, then click the View/upload documents button to view received, or upload more documents. Page 13 of 25

& ELECTRONIC PROCESSING Page 15 of 25

ELECTRONIC PROCESSING The Electronic Processing area of IAS CONNECT allows you to electronically register IAS contracts, remit pending econtracts, and view electronic remittance history. You must be logged in prior to accessing the Electronic Processing area of IAS CONNECT, and your login must have the appropriate permission(s). To access the Electronic Processing section, click on the Electronic Processing button on the main landing page or click on Electronic Processing in the top navigation menu. The Electronic Processing area of IAS CONNECT has a sub-menu with various options, as shown in the image on the right. ELECTRONICALLY REGISTERING A NEW CONTRACT IAS CONNECT allows authorized users to electronically register contracts. By registering contracts electronically, the possibility of rate and contract errors is nearly eliminated. Electronic registration can be used by dealership accounting offices, when the F&I department still uses three part paper forms, or by the F&I office directly, in which case an electronic contract is generated and can be printed and handed to the customer. To electronically register a new contract, click on the GENERATE CONTRACTS (EZ-REGISTER) link in the Electronic Processing sub-menu. This is a multi-step process which will vary from dealer to dealer and customer to customer depending on the types of warranties available, and the type(s) of warranties selected for a given customer. The general order of this process is shown at a high level here, and each step is broken down individually below. Specify contract date and vehicle purchased Select one or more forms purchased by a single customer Supply any additional information required for the selected forms Select plans for each specified form Specify either an individual or a business as the customer Supply additional customer details Page 16 of 25

SPECIFY CONTRACT DATE AND VEHICLE PURCHASED To begin, first verify that the contracts to be created are under the correct dealer location, selected at the upper right hand corner of the screen, then enter the contract date and the VIN of the vehicle. The VIN will be decoded, and the vehicle year, make, and model will be displayed. Below that, enter the vehicle mileage. The entry of the deal/stock number is not required, but may be useful during the electronic remittance process. SELECT ONE OR MORE FORMS PURCHASED BY A SINGLE CUSTOMER If the dealership is set up with multiple IAS forms, this step allows you to indicate which form(s) this customer has purchased. Simply check off each form on the list for this particular customer. Page 17 of 25

SUPPLY ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR THE SELECTED FORMS Some form selections will require you to enter additional information that cannot be determined based on the VIN of the vehicle. This step will vary based on form selections, but an example is shown on the right. SELECT PLANS FOR EACH SPECIFIED FORM In this step, a table is shown listing out each form selected at the beginning of the process. For each listed form, you must assign a plan deemed valid for the specified vehicle. Start the plan selection process by clicking on the Select a plan button. The plan selection process varies based on the type of plan and its options. Some plans do not vary by term or deductible, and some plans do not have surcharges. If this is the case, those aspects of plan selection will automatically be skipped. Page 18 of 25

As plan selections change, the right side of the plan selection window shows the details of the selected plan, including dealer cost information. Once plans have been assigned to all forms, and retail prices have been supplied for each plan/form combination, click the Next button to proceed. SPECIFY EITHER AN INDIVIDUAL OR A BUSINESS AS THE CUSTOMER If the purchaser of the contract is an individual, select the Buyer is an INDIVIDUAL option and enter the buyer first and last name, and optionally enter the buyer middle initial. If the purchaser of the contract is a business, select the Buyer is a BUSINESS option and enter just the business name. Page 19 of 25

SUPPLY ADDITIONAL CUSTOMER DETAILS Choose and existing lender, or create a new lender. Enter the customer street address and zip code. The zip code will automatically be decoded and the city and state will populate automatically. Click the Next button to proceed to lender selection if applicable. Page 20 of 25

REMIT, VOID, OR VIEW DETAILS OF PENDING CONTRACTS To remit, void, or view details of pending contracts, click on the VIEW/REMIT PENDING CONTRACTS link from the Electronic Processing sub-menu. Upon doing so and then selecting a dealer, a list of all pending electronic contracts will be shown. This list will include any contracts registered on IAS CONNECT, econtracts generated through SmartMenu, as well as econtracts generated from outside menu systems, portals, and DMS systems. This list will not include any paper contracts. Once the list of electronic contracts is displayed, there are a variety of ways to manipulate the displayed data, and there are a number of contract specific actions that can be taken. Each is described separately below. SELECTING CONTRACTS TO REMIT By default, each econtract that is pending will not be selected. To select contracts to remit, simply click on the checkbox on the left side of the contract row. Alternatively, you can select groups of contracts using a variety of criteria. For example, you might want to select only contracts generated in a certain month, or of a particular type. To access this grouped selection functionality, click on the Select button at the top of the list. Page 21 of 25

VIEWING CONTRACT DETAILS To view high level details of the contract, click anywhere on the row with the contract in question, which will cause that row to expand and show other contract details, such as the form, program, and deductible. VIEWING AN ELECTRONIC CONTRACT To see the actual contract image, click on the magnifying glass icon ' in the Actions column for the row with the contract in question, labeled (1) in the figure below. The contract image will open in a new tab/window. VOIDING A PENDING ELECTRONIC CONTRACT To void a pending electronic contract, click on the x icon in the Actions column for the row with the contract in question, labeled (2) in the figure above. You will be prompted to enter a reason for the void for auditing and security purposes. Page 22 of 25

GENERATING A REMIT REGISTER Before attempting to generate a remittance register, at least one pending contract must be selected. Ensure that at least one contract in the list has been marked as selected, then click on the FINALIZE REGISTER button. Note that this button is shown at the top and bottom of the contract list. A new page will be displayed showing summary information for the register. The number of contracts and remittance dollar amounts will be displayed. Review this information for accuracy before proceeding. Once you have confirmed the information on the summary page, enter whatever identifying information is helpful in the Dealer reference number box and then click the Generate remittance register button. Page 23 of 25

A printable register will be created and will open in a new tab/window in your browser. From this window you can print the register. Once printed, generate a check with the dollar amount(s) shown on the register, then mail the register and check to IAS. There is no need to mail the actual contracts to IAS. Page 24 of 25

VIEW PREVIOUSLY GENERATED REMIT REGISTERS To view a previously generated remit register, click on the VIEW PREVIOUS REGISTERS link from the Electronic Processing sub-menu. Upon doing so and then selecting a dealer, a list of all previously generated electronic remittance registers will be shown. The Date received column shows the date, if applicable, that the register was received and successfully processed by IAS. To view other details about the previously generated register, click on the row representing the register to expand and see the full details, as shown below. To view or print the actual register, click on the magnifying glass icon ' in the row representing the register you wish to view. To view and print individual contracts in a batch, click the ( icon.
