Access my Auctions Step Description 1. Expand the navigation menu and select Project Auctions My Auctions. Notes In My Auctions area, you will see a list of auctions you ve been invited to. The title, status, start time, end time, and Buyer Organization will be displayed for each auction. As soon as an Auction is published by SIEMENS, you will receive an email notification. From that time on you are able to view the event details in SCM STAR. This includes the auction settings, attachments provided by the buyer, auction items (in multi-item auctions), and a currencies list for multi-currency events. SIEMENS is still able to edit the event settings, which would also trigger an email notification to all invited suppliers. (Status: To be Confirmed ) In the next step SIEMENS confirms the auction, meaning that the event settings are now fixed. The Auction Monitor symbol appears and the event status changes to Confirmed. In addition the platform offers the possibility to use the messaging area for a direct communication with the buyer in the tool. (Status: Confirmed ) Version 1 2
Launch the Auction Monitor 1. Find the Auction you re invited to, and click on the Auction Monitor icon. A new window will pop up and ask you to choose how you want to view the auction. Choose the Java option. To launch the Auction Monitor, please make sure you are running the auction in: a. Internet Explorer 9.0 or above b. Google Chrome and Firefox have shown practical proof, however not formally supported by Bravo c. Java 1.8 or higher The Auction Monitor icon will only appear in the Monitor column for Auctions with a Confirmed, Running, Suspended, Terminated, Not Awarded, or Awarded status. The Auction Monitor can be accessed earliest 10 minutes before the event s starting time. Click Enter to confirm selection. The Auction Monitor will load. 2. Based on the Auction configuration setup by SIEMENS, you will have a visibility on different information in the auction monitor: Version 1 3
Confirm a Price Step 1. As soon as a price is reached that you are willing to accept, click Submit to confirm the current price step. For your own security the system will ask you to confirm again. 2. Once you have confirmed the system informs you (and all competitors) immediately that the auction has ended. Short time after the event has ended you will receive an email notification to inform you about the awarding decision. Version 1 4
Manage Auction Messages 1. Create and Send Messages to SIEMENS To communicate with the Buyer Organization during the auction, you can use the Message feature within the Auction monitor either to communicate with the Operation Center or to reply on a Sealed Bid request (2nd round) of the Initiator in case the Reserve Price was met: During the running phase messages within the Auction Monitor will be answered by the Operation Center (event support) only. 1. Click the Message tab in the Auction Details section. 2. Click the New Message button at the bottom of the tab. 3. Type your message into the pop-up text box. 4. Click Send to send your message to the Buyer. Version 1 5
2. View Received Message When the Buyer replies or sends you a message during an auction, it will be displayed as a notification on the auction monitor: 1. Review the message and click OK to return to the Auction Monitor. 2. To view the message again or other Buyer messages, you can find them in the Messages section. Click on the Sender column heading to sort the list and bring the buyer messages to the top of the list. Version 1 6
Review submitted Bid 1. Bid History After the awarding has been performed (status: Awarded ) you are able to access the so called Bid History in the event to review submitted bids. Version 1 7
