PROGRAMME PROFILE This programme is designed for candidates who wish to obtain knowledge of applying Information Technology (IT) in variety of context, such as Management, Education, Library and Information Services, Manufacturing and others. This programme aims at producing responsible, innovative and creative graduates with skills in planning, organizing, designing and managing variety of ICT-based solutions to different kind of organizations.

PROGRAMME EDUCATION OBJECTIVES 1 2 3 4 To produce IT managers who are capable in managing IT projects of various types and sizes, and being able to organize and lead the organization's ICT strategy. To produce IT managers who are able to identify the needs of the industry and being able to use ICT to transform business organizations. To develop an IT consultant who has the technical knowledge, management skills, and the ability to design, develop and manage IT systems effectively and efficiently. To produce IT experts who have a strong ICT foundation for self-reliance and learn for self-development to face rapid changes in IT and IS field.

DISSERTATION ASSESSMENT Dissertation evaluation is graded based on Satisfactory (MM) Unsatisfactory (TM) Fail (GG) Evaluation is done by the supervisor through Research Progress Report (Submitted by week 12 through Graduate Studies Management System GSMS http://gsms.utm.my) Dissertation result determine the result of current semester MM (Satisfactory) = KB (Good Standing) TM (Unsatisfactory) = KS (Conditional Standing) GG (Fail) = KG (Fail) If dissertation is not taken, the result for that semester will be based on the semester CGPA (>3=KB,<2.67=KG, otherwise KS)

Students must pass all assignments given by lecturers (No need to sit for the FINAL exam)
