1 Introduction Welcome to Verizon Business Internet Global Utilization Statistics Dear customer In this document you will find information in general about IGUS, how to login to the Verizon Business Customer Center, how to go to IGUS from there and finally how to get support on IGUS. 2 Product Overview Verizon Business Internet Global Utilization Statistics (IGUS) is a reporting tool that enables you to monitor your circuit usage statistics for Verizon Business Internet Dedicated access products in one common graphical interface. Your Internet Dedicated solution may include any of the following options: Internet Dedicated Internet Dedicated, Global Transit Internet Colocation Features and Benefits Search for sites by common attributes such as line type and option of service Drill down to detailed data on specific data points Customize data report and trending analysis views Identify over utilized sites Download data in comma separated value (CSV) format 3 Log In to Verizon Business Customer Center The log in process takes you through several screens before you enter the Verizon Business Internet Global Utilization Statistics application. 1
(Note: when accessing VBCC there might be more features available to you then just the web-statistics tool igus. Please consult with your account manager whether or not these features are available to you. The scope of these instructions is limited to igus only). 1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer. 2. Type the following URL in the address box: https://customercenter.mci.com (Please add this link to your favorites to have direct access) 3. Press Enter. The Verizon Business Customer Center Home page appears. Registration on VBCC takes less than 5 minutes! 1 To register, click on the Register button 4. Type your User ID and Password on the Verizon Business Customer Center Log In page. 5. Click submit Note: How do I obtain a Verizon Business Customer Center user ID and password? If you don t have a User ID and Password yet, please click register (1) (see above screenshot). Then you will see the Verizon / MCI merger page for combining Enterprises Portals. 2
If you do not have a Verizon Enterprise Direct account, please Click here as per screenshot above. Then follow the registration steps. Registration Steps: Fill in your email address (2) and proceed to the account type. Select as account type (3): U Number and fill out this number in the field Account ID (When your UK Site ID is an alpha-numeric string, please precede it with UUK- e.g. UUK-Verizon01, or for Irish Site IDs UIE- e.g. UIE-Verizon01) If you would like to add another U Number to your email address, please tick the box: Would you like to add another account? And proceed by selecting the U Number and fill out a second number. Then continue. 3
Enter the email address you have indicated to Verizon Business as usage statistics contact, or the email address to which Verizon Business has sent you the IGUS notification email 2 Select U Number as the Accounttype and enter in the Account-id field the U Number that refers to your circuit 3 4 Fill in all the required information on the Personal Information screen. Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Select continue. 5 Enter your Personal Information 6 Enter your Preferences 7 Click Continue The next step is to choose your User ID and Password. 4
You can choose your own user id and password 8 9 10 Enter your User ID Enter your Password Confirm your Password 11 Click Finish Your User ID must be 5-20 characters (all lowercase) and consist of any combination of numbers and letters. Your Password must be between 8-12 characters and must contain a combination of at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter and one number. Select Finish. NOTE: After you have completed registering you will receive a Confirmation statement informing you that you will receive a verification code via email. In order for your registration to be complete you must enter the verification code when prompted at initial log in. 5
Your email address Your Name, Only seconds after your registration, you will receive an e-mail with a verification code. Pleas save this message. You may be asked for this code again in the future! Once you have received your Verification Code via email, return to https://customercenter.mci.com and in the Customer Log In section enter the User ID and Password you created during registration. 1 Enter your login & password 2 Click on the Submit button Select the Log In button You will now be prompted to enter your Verification Code. 6
3 Enter the Verification Code you received per e-mail 4 Click on the Continue button Select Continue Once your Verification Code has been accepted you will be required to review and accept the Terms and Conditions of use. You must accept these terms in order to user the Verizon Business Customer Center. 5 Click to accept Terms & Conditions 6 Click on the Continue button Select Continue. You are now logged in! 7
Your Name You are now logged in! 6. Select View IP Global Utilization Statistics from the Monitor & Report tab. The Internet Global Utilization Statistics application appears. 7. Select Site Summary Graphs for a graphical overview of your circuit usage 8
Note: Reports presented by IGUS are intended to be used to monitor site utilization.
