We re changing to a new, state-of-the-art banking system that will make your banking experience faster and safer as of April 24. However, you will experience a disruption in online and mobile banking during the upgrade weekend, Friday, April 21 Sunday, April 23. What s Changing? Online Access Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Banking and Phone Banking will be unavailable during the upgrade. You ll need to re-enroll in each service after 8 a.m. on Monday, April 24. What s Not Changing? Access to Cash Don t worry, there will be NO disruption to ATM access, your ability to use your debit card, credit card, and/or write checks during the upgrade. Online Banking Changes What You Need to Know Online Banking and Bill Pay will be in DISPLAY-ONLY mode from 4 p.m. Friday, April 21 until 8 a.m. on Monday, April 24. Before the Upgrade To avoid any unnecessary disruptions in service, follow the steps below to prepare for the upgrade: 1. Download your latest statements for quick reference. 2. Confirm your login credentials are accurate. 3. Download a copy of all current and future scheduled payments for your records. 4. Schedule any time-sensitive bill payments and online transactions prior to 4 p.m. on April 21. After the Upgrade All users will need to go through a one-time registration process before using the new system: 1. Visit BankMidwest.com and click the Enroll link to set up access to Online Banking. 2. Set up any personal alerts you rely on, these will not transfer from the old system. 3. Review recurring account transfers and scheduled bill payments to ensure these transitioned correctly. Table of Contents Page 1... Online Banking One-Time Enrollment and Login On your desktop or tablet browser visit BankMidwest.com on or after 8 a.m. Monday, April 24. Click the Enroll link. Agree to the disclosure terms and click Next to start the enrollment process. Online Banking Login ID Submit Forgot password? Enroll STEP 1: Click I know my User ID AND Password PAGE 2
Enter your existing Online Banking User ID. If you ve ever set up an ID to replace the 12-digit number starting with 6235, you must use the replacement User ID created. Type the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number in the Password field. And, enter the Random Code displayed. Click Next. STEP 2: Create three security questions to which only you will know the answer. If you don t like the standard questions available, create your own. PAGE 3
STEP 3: Create your new password which can be the same as your current password. Passwords must be between 8-24 characters and contain at least one capital letter and one number. Special characters strengthen passwords but are optional. New Features! Bill Pay Bill Pay will be unavailable from Friday, April 21 at 4 p.m. through Monday, April 24, at 8 a.m. If you have bill due dates coming up, you may want to schedule a payment prior to Friday, April 21, 4 p.m. Merchant bill payees and scheduled bill payments will carry over to the new Bill Pay system; however, bill payment history and Pay a Person payee details will not transfer. Enhanced Security Our new Bill Pay offers increased security to keep your accounts safe. You may receive calls from our Fraud Department to verify a questionable transaction. Our Fraud Department will ask to verify transactions only we will never ask you to share personal, confidential account information. PAGE 5
Making Payments with Bill Pay STEP 1: Click Bill Pay from the main menu. A new window will open. STEP 2: Enter the date to send the payment, or click the calendar icon to find available delivery date. Quickly view payments made using the list of Pending Payments and Recently Processed Payments on the right side of the Bill Pay screen. Bill Pay will send payments electronically whenever possible. If a company or person cannot accept electronic payments, a check will be mailed to the address you provided. Need a Payment Faster? Select either overnight electronic payments or paper check delivery. PAGE 6
Mobile Banking Mobile Banking will be in DISPLAY-ONLY mode from 4 p.m. Friday, April 21 until 8 a.m. Monday, April 24. Before the Upgrade To avoid any unnecessary disruptions in service, follow the steps below to prepare for the upgrade: 1. Make sure your current User ID is active. After the Upgrade All users will need to download the new Mobile Banking app from Google Play store or the App Store. 1. Enroll in Online Banking from a desktop computer BEFORE enrolling in the new mobile banking app. 2. Set up any personal alerts you rely on. These are independent and in addition to any alerts set up in Online Banking. 3. Review scheduled recurring payments transferred from the old system for accuracy. Mobile Banking Download and Login STEP 1: Enroll in Online Banking from your desktop or tablet browser. Delete the old Mobile Banking app. STEP 2: Visit Google Play store or App Store and download the NEW mobile app on or after 8 a.m. on Monday, April 24. STEP 3: Enter the existing Username (User ID) and password you set up in Online Banking. STEP 4: Enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security for verification. Mobile Banking Updates You ll need to accept new terms and conditions for Mobile Deposit through the new app. Pay a Person You can still pay your family and friends quickly with the Pay a Person feature. While existing payees will not be saved in the new Mobile Banking App, you can quickly set them up using their email address or mobile phone. Pay a Bill Make payments to existing payees using the mobile app. However, new payees will need to be set up in the desktop version of Online Banking first. Or, try the new PicturePay feature in Mobile Banking (these payees will not transfer to Online Banking). New Features PicturePay Take a picture of your bill to make a payment. PIN code login Use this faster way to log in to conduct transactions. Touch ID or AutoAccess See account balances and recent transactions with a single touch. Enabling Touch ID or Auto Login STEP 1: Log in to Mobile Banking app (see p. 7). STEP 2: Click the SETTINGS icon at the bottom of the screen. STEP 3: Turn on TouchID (Apple devices only) or Auto Login (only 1 can be selected). You have the ability to turn it on or off at any time. STEP 4: If you select PIN Login, you can quickly enter 4 digits in place of your Password to conduct transactions on your mobile device. PAGE 8
Phone Banking Phone Banking will be in inquiry-only mode from 4 p.m. on Friday, April 21 until 8 a.m. Monday, April 24. After conversion you ll need to re-enroll in Phone Banking. Call the same Phone Banking number: 800.914.6027 To Re-Enroll: Dial 800.914.6027, and press * to begin. Key in your User ID which will be your Date of Birth and Zip code mmddyyzzzzz Enter your PIN Code which will be the last 4 digits of your social security number. Respond whether you re calling from the number you will normally use. Enter the type of phone number this is: mobile, home, work. Add an additional phone number. Select 3 challenge questions. Select a Site Key Personalized Message choose from list of 3. Choose new PIN, re-key PIN. Note: Allow 5-10 minutes for re-enrollment. Cut and keep this as a reminder.! Important Dates FRIDAY, APRIL 21 The last day to make or schedule payments online or in-branch before the weekend system freeze at 4 p.m. SATURDAY, APRIL 22 - SUNDAY, APRIL 23 All offices, drive-up locations and ITMs will be closed. Online, Mobile, and Phone Banking will be in display-only mode. MONDAY, APRIL 24 The NEW banking system will be up and running! After 8 a.m. on Monday, April 24, you can re-enroll in Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Banking, and Phone Banking. Visit BankMidwest.com and click Enroll. Questions?
