Export Keys from KCD By Part Number Enter the Part Number from the Purchase Order in this field and click Search Click the NI Load Template link to create the upload template for Net-Inspect. Click the Save button to save the template. Template will be saved at the location selected on your system to be used later by Net-Inspect upload functionality. Exporting Keys from KCD Effective and Upcoming Click the SPC DATA ENTRY option. Click either View Effective Key Characteristics or View Upcoming Key Characteristics. Click either the Effective Key Characteristics or the Upcoming Key Characteristics link. Click the NI Load Template link. Click the Save button and follow the steps discussed in the last page. Setup Part: Measurement Data Entry Click the Quality Management tab to validate the upload. Click the Setup and Administration link. Click the List, edit, or mirror parts under Parts/Features. Enter the Part Number you want to search for. Supplier Training Net-Inspect Key Characteristic 8
Setup Part Update Details Select HONEYWELL AEROSPACE from the Customer Name drop-down list. Keep the Serialized checkbox only if the parts are serialized, otherwise uncheck the box. By default, this is checked while uploading parts. Check the Receive Alerts checkbox for both the options. Now, the part is set up and ready for you to enter measurements for keys. Feature Validation and Setup Click the Quality Management tab to validate the upload. Click the Setup and Administration link. Click the List or Edit Features link under Parts/Features. Edit Feature from KCD You can adjust the Sampling Plan field. Sampling plan should be 00% until process is in control for KCs. The Operation Number may reflect the manufacturing process step. Do not change the Feature Number because it is used as a reference to the KCD data. Validate the target value in the Nominal field. Points to Remember: Centered Spec targets are applied as a KCD to Net-Inspect conversion standard. Some KC features may not have centered targets. Refer to the Template Notes field for comments or drawing zone for off-centered tolerances. Adjust the Nominal, Max and Min values to match the drawing requirements for that feature.
