Safety Portal Upgrade: Dynamic Web TWAIN PRE-UPGRADE PREPARATION In order to provide enhancements to the scanning features of the Safety Portal and to resolve scanning issues that some users have experienced, we will soon be upgrading the Dynamic Web TWAIN software in the Safety Portal. In order to prepare for this important upgrade and ensure that your computer will be able to take advantage of it, you will need to remove the old Dynamic Web TWAIN plug-in from Internet Explorer and install the new plug-in. If you already performed this process on Thursday 8/6/2015, you do not need to do it again. If you are unsure whether or not you have completed the process, it s fine to repeat the process. This needs to be done for each computer that you use to scan in the Safety Portal. Please refer to the detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips below. If you have any questions or need assistance after attempting the troubleshooting tips, please contact the Evans Tech Deck. 1. If it is open, close Internet Explorer. You will need to run Internet Explorer as an administrator. 2. Click on your Start button; then click All Programs.
