1 Setting up Bluetooth Connecting a phone through Bluetooth Bluetooth connection required for: 1. Phone use through the BeSpoke Premium Audio System. 2. Android phone use with aha features of BeSpoke Premium Audio System. 1 On your phone, make sure Bluetooth is on. 4 Select Add New Device. 5 Select Search for Bluetooth Devices.* 6 Select a phone to connect BeSpoke to. 8 Select Accept on the BeSpoke screen to complete connection. 9 After pairing has been confirmed, your phone and BeSpoke will both show they are Connected. 2 Select Setup. A pairing message will appear on the BeSpoke screen. 7 On your phone, select Pair when the pair request message appears. 3 Select Bluetooth. *On Android devices, you will need to make your phone visible to searching devices.
2 Using aha Playing aha Radio iphone: Plug in and connect USB. Bluetooth connection required for call features. Android: Connect to Bluetooth. Selecting a Preset 1 Choose Presets button. Viewing a Station List 1 Listen to previous broadcasts. Choose list icon. 1 Select Audio. 2 Select aha. 2 Scroll to view all Presets. 2 Browse by using the scroll bar. Select the podcast you want to listen to. 3 On your phone, a request to allow aha to launch will appear Select Allow. 3 Select a preset. Aha will automatically launch the last station played. 4 Your preset will automatically start playing. IMPORTANT To use aha you must have a data plan for your smartphone (minimum 2GB plan recommended), access to a Wi-Fi network, or data connectivity through a portable hotspot device.
3 Using aha Finding aha Nearby Destinations 1 Select Nearby. 3 aha will automatically start reading nearby destinations based on nearest location. Select list to view all nearby destinations at once. Calling/Navigating to a Nearby Destination 1 To call a nearby destination push the Phone Button. To navigate to nearby destination push the Blue Arrow Button. 2 Select a nearby category. 4 Scroll through the list and select a destination. 2 The screen will switch to phone mode and dial/navigation mode to start route. 5 Screen will show useful destination information.
4 Push to Talk Voice Commands BeSpoke s 32 Voice Commands 1 Select the Push to Talk Button. 2 Once pressed, a complete menu of voice commands will appear. 3 Choose from 32 commands. 5 Navigation When to use aha vs. BeSpoke Navigation Use aha Nearby to find: Local restaurants, hotels, and coffee shops. When ratings are an important factor in your decision. In areas of strong data/signal strength. To listen to local weather updates. aha updates happen over the cloud via the app, so aha destinations are always up to date. (Aha destinations are only available if they have been rated by Yelp or Tripadvisor.) Use Navigation to find: Points of Interest (POIs) that are outside of aha s radius (about 5 miles depending on signal strength). POIs that aren t offered by aha, like gas stations, golf courses, schools, etc. When aha is not connected or has poor signal. POIs that may not have been rated on Yelp or Tripadvisor. Navigation map and POI updates are done via your dealer.
6 Navigation Entering an Address Voice Command/ One Shot Destination 3 Read and acknowledge warning. 6 The system will ask if you d like to start route guidance. Say Yes to start the route navigation. 1 Select the Push to Talk Button. 4 Wait for BeSpoke to process your request. (This may take a moment. Once processed, BeSpoke will repeat the address back to you.) Stopping Navigation Choose Options: stop guidance. 2 Once pressed, a complete menu of voice commands will appear. 5 The route will launch. 7 Navigation Entering an Address Manual * 1 Select Map. 4 Select Enter Destination. 6 Select Calculate Route after address is entered. 2 Read and acknowledge warning. 5 Select the field for entry. 3 Select Dest for destination. Use keyboard to enter each field: State, City, Zip, Street, No. 7 Choose route preferences: Fast, Short, or ecological; avoidance options; or select start. *Manual address entry is only allowed when safely parked.
