Snap AppReader ICW Group offers AppReader to upload data to Snap from an ACORD application created in your agency management system. AppReader is embedded within Snap and works with all agency management system PDF documents. There is no charge to your agency to use AppReader, there are no installation steps, no registration process and no software to download. Using AppReader to Upload with Snap 1. Locate the client record in your agency management system, open the ACORD 130 Workers Comp PDF application and Save it to your desktop. If your agency management system allows you to attach the ACORD PDF to an email without first saving it to your desktop, you do not need to do this step. 2. Sign in to Snap and click Create Submission 3. Check the box Upload from an ACORD application to enable the Browse button. 4. Click the Browse button to open a window to search for the ACORD PDF for upload. 5. Highlight the ACORD pdf you want to upload and click the Open button. 6. Click Create Submission. 7. A pop up message appears to alert you the upload has started. Click OK to close the message. Note: You have the option to check the box Don t Show Again to suppress this pop up in the future. 8. While the upload processes you can start another upload or complete other work in Snap. You ll be alerted when the upload finishes. 9. The upload finishes in two to five minutes (depending on the number of pages in the ACORD PDF). You ll see a pop up message to notify you the upload has completed. You can either open that submission (click Yes) or remain on the page you were currently working (click No). Note: You have the option to check the box Don t Show Again to suppress this pop up in the future. 10. As part of the upload process, Snap automatically attaches the ACORD pdf to the submission record. 11. If you opted to automatically open the uploaded submission, Snap places you on the Overview Tab. You may now finish filling out the Application by clicking the Application tab. 12. Once all required fields are satisfied and currently valued loss runs are attached, click the Submit Button. 4
Vertafore (TransactNOW) Registration Steps Carrier Password and User ID Setup instructions for installed version of TransactNOW AMS 360 Version 1. Open AMS360 agency management system. 2. Click Toolbox > System Administration > Customer/Policy Setups > TransactNOW Setup. 3. Select ICW Group (Insurance Company of the West) from the Carrier list, and click Edit (top right). 4. In TransactNOW Company Options select Commercial - New Business Quote Request. 5. Click New in Company Web Site User Names/Passwords. 6. Select an Employee from list and enter Snap User ID and Password, (which is case sensitive). 7. Select Commercial and New Business Quote Request options and then click Add. Click Update at top 8. Save and Close the page at the top: Click File > Save > Close. Standalone TransactNOW or Network Version of TransactNOW (Can apply to AMS Sagitta, AMS Sagitta Online, AMS AfW, AMS AfW Online, AMS Prime, and AMS InStar Agencies.) 1. Standalone TNOW (Desktop) Double-click the TransactNOW icon on your desktop. 2. Network Version (For IT Admin) - Double-click on your Desktop link that connects you to the database of your TransactNOW User ids and Passwords on your network server. 3. Enter the TransactNOW Master Username and Password. 4. Select ICW Group (Insurance Company of the West) from the Carrier list. 5. Select Add Login and enter Snap User ID and Password (case sensitive). 6. Click Submit and Logout you are ready to use TransactNOW. 5
TransactNOW Installation Steps, If Not Already Installed Find Vertafore TransactNOW information (including additional training for these installation steps) at: www.vertafore.com/sitecore/content/transactnow. Training classes, system requirements and other the Vertafore TransactNOW information are also available from this site. AMS 360 Agents 1. Go to the AMS360 Help Center or to www.transactnow.com 2. Locate Installation Downloads and select TransactNOW Download. (This must be done once for each workstation.) Upload Your Workers Comp Submission Using TransactNOW Note: TNOW must be installed for Carrier ICW. AfW/AfW Online Product Call Codes: Afw TransactNOW=333191; Afw TransactNOW network install=333136; Afw Online TransactNOW=433191; Afw Online TransactNOW network install=433136 AfW Version 5.2 or below 1. Click on the policy you want to service. 2. Click on Link, then select TransactNOW CL. 3. Click on Export, then click Export again when the confirmation dialog box comes up. AfW Version 5.3 and 5.4 1. Click on the policy you want to service. 2. Click on the TransactNOW icon in the policy summary list. (TransactNOW launches.) 3. Select ICW Group from the Carrier list. 4. Check the appropriate box for the transaction you would like to perform, and click Submit. AMS360 Product Call Codes: Integration TransactNOW=721131 1. Click on the TransactNOW icon next to the policy you want to service. 2. Or, while in a policy or submission, click on Options, then click on Transact NOW upload. 3. Check off Quote Request for the transaction to be performed. 4. Select ICW Group from the Carrier list. 5. Click Submit. 6. Data will be uploaded to TransactNOW. Click Submit again, and the data will now carry over to Snap. 7
Prime: Click on the policy you want to service. Product Call Codes: TransactNOW network install=154136; TransactNOW standard install=154500 1. Click on the TransactNOW icon in the toolbar of Prime. (TransactNOW launches. Or, right-click policy and select Send to TransactNOW. ) 2. Select ICW Group from the Carrier list. 3. Check the appropriate box for the transaction you would like to perform, and then click Submit. Sagitta/Sagitta Online (Ver 6.0 +) Product Call Codes: Sagitta TransactNOW=118020; TransactNOW network install=118136; Sagitta Online TransactNOW=154136; TransactNOW network install=128136 1. Click on the policy you want to service. 2. Click on the TransactNOW Inquiry icon. (TransactNOW launches.) 3. Select ICW Group from the Carrier list. 4. Check the appropriate box for the transaction you would like to perform, and then click Submit. 8
Sagitta/Sagitta Online (Ver 5.9 and below) InStar 1. Click on the policy you want to service. (You must be in Maintain mode to launch TransactNOW.) 2. Click on the Import/Export icon at the top of the page. 3. Select Export, then TransactNOW. (TransactNOW launches.) 4. Select ICW Group from the Carrier list. 5. Check the appropriate box for the transaction you would like to perform, and click Submit. Note: Currently, InStar does not support real-time quoting for commercial lines. Applied/TAM Systems Transformation Station Registration Steps Setup Snap User ID & Password in Transformation Station 1. Open Applied agency management system. 2. While in Customer level or Policy level click on the Real Time butterfly. (The Real Time screen will open.) 3. Click File at top left of screen and select Local Security Products. 4. From the list, locate ICW Workers Compensation and click once to highlight. 5. Click Edit. (The Login Screen will appear.) 6. Enter your Snap User ID and Password. 7. Once you have entered your Snap User ID and Password, the Local Security Products list will come back up. (You have now successfully set up your system for this Real Time product.) 10
Note: You must first successfully log into ICW Group s Snap website and select a password before setting up your Real Time username and password. Using Applied/TAM Real Time Upload to Snap 1. Open Applied agency management system. 2. Highlight the Work Comp Policy to be Rated (Quoted with ICW Group). 3. Click on the Real Time butterfly. (The Real Time screen will open.) 4. Select Rate option. 5. Select ICW Workers Compensation from the carrier list. 6. You may select Current or Future options. 7. When ready to rate, click the Go! button at the top right corner. 8. The ACORD application will begin to upload to Snap automatically. 9. Once the upload is complete, you will automatically navigate into Snap. 10. Snap opens in the Overview tab for your uploaded submission. 11. You may now finish filling out the Application by clicking the Application tab. 12. Once all required fields are satisfied and currently valued loss runs are attached, click on the Submit Button. 11
