OUR SEGMENTS We conduct our business through three operating segments: Transportation Solutions is a leader in electronic components including connectors, relays, sensors, heat-shrink tubing and wire and cable as well as application tooling and customengineered solutions for the automotive, aerospace, defense and marine industries. Communications and Industrial Solutions is one of the world s largest suppliers of electronic components, including connectors, cable assemblies, relays, antennas, circuit protection devices and touch screens. Our products are used primarily in the communications equipment, computer, consumer electronics, industrial machinery, household appliance, energy, lighting, commercial equipment and instrumentation markets. Network Solutions is one of the world's largest suppliers of infrastructure components and systems for the telecommunications and energy markets. Our products include connectors, aboveand below-ground enclosures, heat shrink sleeves, cable accessories, surge arrestors, fiber optic cabling, copper cabling and racks for copper and fiber networks. OUR PRODUCTS We design, manufacture, and market over 500,000 products for more than 200,000 customer locations in a broad array of industries including automotive; data communications; consumer devices; telecom and enterprise networks; aerospace, defense and marine; medical; energy; and lighting. We bring advanced performance to every technology, product and service we provide, including connector systems, relays, fiber optics, circuit protection devices, distributed antenna systems, wire and cable, touch screens, heat shrink tubing, racks and panels, network cabling systems, and subsea communication systems. Our spirit of innovation drives us to continually hone our technological edge with the goal of delivering the best solutions with the highest quality every time. These efforts are supported by approximately 8,000 engineers at 13 global design centers who work closely with our customers to develop applicationsspecific, highly engineered products and systems to satisfy customers needs. We apply for more than 1,500 patents annually and hold more than 20,000 patents and patent applications in total. Our innovation, early design involvement and materials expertise give customers a competitive advantage by delivering new functionality, and by helping them to bring better performance to existing products, deliver new products to market faster, and realize greater efficiencies in their manufacturing processes.

OUR GLOBAL PRESENCE 31% We have an established manufacturing presence in Americas approximately 20 countries, we operate in over 50 34% countries and serve customers in more than 150 Asia Pacific Total countries. Our global coverage positions us near 16% our customers and allows us to assist them in China consolidating their supply base and lowering their 18% production costs.
