Linking Snapper PhotoManager to Snapper.Photo Having created Albums, you can now easily Upload them to Snapper.Photo s online space for you to view, share, protect and sell your Photos. If not already done so, register at Snapper.Photo for free and gain access to your free 20GB online account where you can store your precious photos and get started right away. using the same photo in more than one Album? We check to ensure that only one instance of a photo is stored online with Snapper.Photo so if you have used a photo in different albums we simply create a link to the photo saving you online space, time and money. 1. Linking Snapper PhotoManager to Your Snapper.Photo Online Account On the Main Menu Click On Snapper.Photo Account Details Fill in your Snapper.Photo Account details, the same email & Password used when Registering with Snapper.Photo Click Click to Sign In to your Snapper.Photo online Account

Uploading your photos to Snapper.Photo is a sure way to create an offsite copy of your photos as an additional means of protecting your photos If your account credentials are incorrect you will be presented with the following information message make sure you have entered your email address and password exactly as you did when creating your Snapper.Photo Account

If correctly entered, you will see the following Information Screen stating that your account has been linked successfully Click OK Then Click OK again in the Account Settings window to be returned to Snapper PhotoManager in a second or two where you can continue to work and enjoy your photos if you don t have an account click on Support Icon under the Help Menu, then Click on Sign In on the Top right and Create your Account by clicking the button

1. Scheduling for Automatic Uploads to Your Snapper.Photo Online Account You can schedule your uploads to take place at set times of the day. In this way, you can take opportunity of the free or uncapped service offerings that many internet service providers offer. Click in the tick box Set the Start Time Albums to begin Set the End Time Albums to stop Click on The time you want the upload of you The time you want the upload of you any changes that you have made to your online Albums will now be automatically uploaded/updated during the specified times. you must leave Snapper PhotoManager open in order for the uploads/updates to your albums to happen you can always manually upload/update your albums by right clicking on an Album Name & selecting Upload to Snapper.Photo

About Uploading Albums to Snapper.Photo You may choose from a number of options when uploading your Albums to Snapper.Photo each of which has been designed to serve a specific need. You may choose either to; Private Only you can access your Photos Share with Private Community Only those you have shared the Album with will have access to your photos Share with Open Community Anyone you share an album with can forward the email link and thus share your photos with others Sell to Private Community Only those you have shared the Album with will have access to search, view and buy your photos (currency default is South African Rand ZAR) Sell as Event Photographs Anyone searching through the Snapper.Photo Events Photos will be able to search, view and buy (currency default is South African Rand ZAR)

Default Upload Settings Select an Album by by double clicking on an Album Name or Right Click on an Album Name, select Modify Album Album Share or click Click in the tick box Upload to Snapper.Photo To Choose a Cover Photo click on the button Select Album Cover Photo Browse the Album, click on a chosen photo and click on Click by default and without any further details added, the Album is set to be Uploaded as a Private Album and will be uploaded to your Snapper.Photo Online Account at the scheduled time if you have set the Automatic Upload Flag as described in chapter 1

changing the Album Name, Description or any other details will not remove any Photos from the Album but you will need to re upload the Album for the changes to take effect in your online account.

Selling Your Albums & Photos Online Selling of your photos online with Snapper.Photo is currently only available in the base currency of South African Rands (ZAR) and as such, only the country selection of South Africa when registering your software or selecting the County of South Africa in your online account management will allow the options of selling your Albums and photos. Snapper.Photo charge 15 % of the sale value for administering the sale and collection of monies. Pay-outs are accumulated at the end of each month and made on the last day of the month. Processing payments between banks may take up to 48 hours. For further information, log into you online account and view the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the webpage. When selling your photos there are two options to choose from. These are; and Sell to a Private Community Sell as Event Photographs See above in Chapter 2 as to the description and purpose of each It is easy make changes to the options selected so don t be scared to try. Remember, you can always remove a photo or an entire album at anytime. Select an Album by clicking on an Album Name Right Click over the Album Name & select Modify Album If you haven t already, click in the tick box Sync to Snapper.Photo and select the Cover Photo as described previously Click on the Sharing & Selling Tab

Sell to a Private Community You may wish to Sell your Albums with others Privately and this can be done with or without the protection of a watermark depending on your specific requirements. Selling to a Private Community ensures that only those that you share the Album with may access the photos by Signing In to their free Snapper.Photo account and thereby gaining access to the album for viewing, selecting and buying. Your clients can create a free account for life with Snapper.Photo, providing them access to your photo shoots that you share with them over time. Select an Album by clicking on an Album Name Right Click over the Album Name & select Modify Album If you haven t already, click in the box Sync to Snapper.Photo and select the Cover Photo as described previously Click on the Sharing & Selling Tab

each Album can be shared with different people giving you all the flexibility to meet all your needs for maintaining privacy and potential sales From the Sharing & Selling Options dropdown menu select; Sell to Private Community Set your Pricing Price For Each Photograph This provides the option to set your standard price per photo e.g. R50 per photo purchased Price For Entire Album This provides the option to set a price for the entire Album of Photos allowing the buyer to pay one price and download all the photos within the Album Price For a Minimum Qty of This provides the option for discounted pricing when a client purchases more than the stated number of Photos e.g. if purchasing 4 or more photos the price for each photo will be reduced from R50 to R40 per photo

The Private Community - Share Listing and Messaging window will also be viewable You can Add either a Signature Watermark or a Protective Watermark or both depending on your requirements (see chapter 6 for help on how to do this) In the Share Listing and Messaging Window you can choose to add individual Members or you can Bulk Add Members

1.1) Adding individual Members Click Add Member Enter the members email address Under Share Type, select the appropriate option from the dropdown menu; Viewer can only View Photos Viewer + Download can View & Download Photos Add as many Member email addresses as you like by clicking Add Member for each new entry. Note, you cannot have a blank entry, the system will prompt you to remove a blank entry line. Simply click on the Remove button 1.2) Bulk Adding Members You can add a number of email addresses by copying and pasting a list of email addresses from an excel spreadsheet, a word document as long as they are 1 email Address per line using the Bulk Add Members button. Click on the Bulk Add Members button and the following Screen will appear

From a spreadsheet select the cells containing the email addresses and copy the cells, either by right clicking and selecting copy or by using the keyboard key combination of Ctrl c From a Word Document select the email addresses and copy by right clicking and selecting copy or by using the keyboard key combination of Ctrl c Now go to Snapper PhotoManager and click inside the window paste the email addresses you have copied by using the keyboard combination of Ctrl v Your entries should look something like this

You can now select the appropriate option from the dropdown menu; Viewer can only View Photos Viewer + Download can View & Download Photos Click OK

1.3) Including Your Personal Message In the email Message Box, type your personalised message to the Members of the closed Community Share and once done, click on the button the Notification message or will be displayed informing you that the Link with your message still needs to be sent or will only be sent once your photos are uploaded. This saves the members looking for the photos prior to them being available online. At the top left of the form Click Click No to upload the Album later or as per the time Schedule you have defined for Automatic Uploads If you want to upload the Album immediately click Yes when presented with the following Info Screen or click on the Album Name, Right Click & select Snapper.Photo Upload to

2. Sell as Event Photographs You may wish to Sell your Photos Publicly as Event Photographs. This can be done with or without a signature watermark depending on your specific requirements. The option to upload Photos and Sell as Event Photographs is flexible enough to be used in a number of ways; Having taken photos of a Sports event, you can capture the participants Race Number as a keyword making it easy for the participants to search and find the photos you have taken of them. Having Taken photos at a public event, such as an Air show or race meeting or even your local club event. Have photos you wish to sell as Photo Art or even Stock Photos, simply create an Album of your selected photos, Keyword your photos with references making it easy for the public to search and find your photos and then Upload to Sell as Event Photographs You can Add either a Signature Watermark or a Protective Watermark or both depending on your requirements (see chapter 6 for help on how to do this) Albums uploaded to Sell as Event Photographs do not require 'others' to have a Snapper.Photo account. Your Event Photos can be accessed by the public in a number of ways All other settings remain the same as for Share with Private Community

3. Promoting your Event to Sell more Photographs Having uploaded your photos online to Sell as Event Photographs you have a number of options available to you promote the event to the public and sell your photos. You can send an email directly from within Snapper PhotoManager to a defined group of people. On receiving the email from Snapper.Photo, they simply click on the link provided in the email and they will be immediately redirected to the Snapper.Photo website where they will be able to view, buy and download your photos.(see above for more Information on sending emails You can click on the button Copy Link and paste this link into the body of an email and send onto others You can use the link in a WhatsApp message using the WhatsApp Web functionality provided by WhatsApp You can even use the link as a URL link in your own website When viewing your Event Album online you can make use of the Facebook Post Creator button This allows you to create a Facebook post on your own page or on a page that you manage and provides a direct link from Facebook to the Event Photos helping you get more exposure and ultimately sales. You can even post on the Event Organisers Facebook page and gain ultimate exposure to sell your photos. Snapper.Photo constantly monitor all Event Albums posted. Should they meet the minimum requirements for publicity, they will be included in the Events Posted by the Snapper.Photo Community page and could even be promoted on the Snapper.Photo Facebook page. The Events page is found on the Snapper.Photo website under the menu item Photos and View By Album Send an email to Snapper.Photo using the email address info@snapper.photo should you wish to assist in promoting your Event Photos

Identifying Albums & Photos Selected for Uploaded With Snapper PhotoManager you can select which Albums and Photos are Uploaded for Sharing. In this way, you will save valuable space and time and at any time you can see what the status of Upload is of an Album or Photo. 1. Albums The Album Icon will change from to the moment you have selected the Album to Upload to Snapper.Photo The Album Icon will change from to whenever the Album has been successfully uploaded to Snapper.Photo 2. Photos Whenever an Album is selected for Upload to Snapper.Photo, each of the selected Photos in the Album will be displayed with a Khaki Snapper icon in the Thumbnail View The Snapper icon against each Photo will change to Blue when the photo has been successfully uploaded to Snapper.Photo because of the unique manner that Snapper PhotoManager links your photos, any photo placed in an Album that has been selected for Upload to Snapper.Photo will now be displayed with a khaki or blue Snapper icon. Therefore, when you are viewing the same Photo from anywhere within Snapper PhotoManager you will be able to easily identify which of your photos are selected for Uploading and sharing

Removing an Album for Snapper.Photo Should you wish to remove an Album from Snapper.Photo Online for any reason you can safely remove them with a click of the button. Click on an Album Name then Right Click & select Snapper.Photo The Album is removed. Just like that Remove from as we have come to realise, the removal of an Album can often be a temporary change only to be reinstated soon after. For that reason, Snapper.Photo holds the photos only temporarily before deleting them saving you on the time to resync them. Snapper.Photo s Sure Delete ensures that any photo that you remove from an Online album are removed from our servers.

Adding Watermarks for Uploading to Snapper.Photo Adding watermarks to your photos helps either to protect your photos from unintended use or gives you the option to personalise your photos with a custom signature. With Snapper PhotoManager you can choose to add either or both when uploading your photos to your online Snapper.Photo Account 6.1) Adding a Signature Watermark To add a Signature Watermark, click in the tick box next to the Signature Watermark button which activates the button. Now click on the button screen will appear. and the following Click on the Select button and search for the folder where you have placed your Signature PNG Images.

Now click on the.png file you wish to use as your Signature Watermark When creating a signature watermark start with the pixel dimensions of 1500X360 as this will typically suit both Landscape and Portrait photos You can create a transparent.png file using Photoshop, Paint 3D which is free with Windows 10 or try Paint.net which is also free software available on the internet. Click Open and your screen should now display the image as per the following example.

You can position your Signature Watermark in desired location on your photos by clicking on the down arrow of the dropdown menu Choose from either of the options Now click the OK Button Now when you upload your Photos they will include your Signature Watermark as part of the photo/s

Example; 6.2) Adding a Protective Watermark To add a Protective Watermark, click in the tick box next to the Protective Watermark button which activates the button. Now click on the button and the following screen will appear.

To use the default Snapper.Photo watermark, click OK Now when you upload your Photos they will include the Protective Watermark over the photo/s To Add a Custom Watermark of your own Click on the Select button and search for the folder where you have placed your Watermark PNG Images. Now click on the.png file you wish to use as your Protective Watermark When creating a protective watermark start with the pixel dimensions of 1920X1920 as this will typically suit both Landscape and Portrait photos You can create a transparent.png file using Photoshop, Paint 3D which is free with Windows 10 or try Paint.net which is also free software available on the internet.
