Introduction Introduction Discovery Manager is an add-on product to the EMC SourceOne Email Management product used to search for, collect, review, and export archived email in response to legal or regulatory notice, or corporate policy complaint. Discovery Manager enables users to: Search for messages residing in the following archives: EMC SourceOne 6.5 Native Archive EmailXtender 4.8 SP1 archive EMC SourceOne 6.5 Retention Services archive Copy messages to EMC SourceOne hold folders, which are defined using the EMC SourceOne console. 10 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Introduction Discovery Manager architecture Figure 1 illustrates the tiered architecture of Discovery Manager. Figure 1 Discovery Manager architecture Discovery Manager architecture 11

Introduction Component overview EMC SourceOne Email Management Discovery Manager database Discovery Manager Server software Discovery Manager Worker Services software Discovery Manager Client software The components which comprise the Discovery Manager solution include: EMC SourceOne Email Management on page 12 Discovery Manager database on page 12 Discovery Manager Server software on page 12 Discovery Manager Worker Services software on page 12 Discovery Manager Client software on page 12 Discovery Manager requires the EMC SourceOne Email Management infrastructure. For more details on establishing this infrastructure, refer to the EMC SourceOne Email Management documentation set. The Discovery Manager database is installed on Microsoft SQL Server host computer (or SQL Server instance) and maintains data related to Discovery Manager. Discovery Manager integrates with EMC SourceOne Email Management by installing the Discovery Manager Server software on a host computer running the following EMC SourceOne software: Worker Services Web Services Installing the Discovery Manager Server software on an EMC SourceOne Web Services host computer adds the Discovery Manager Web service. The Web service schedules the execution of several operations on behalf of the Discovery Manager client application, including discovery searches and copying results to a hold folder. You can install Discovery Manager Worker Services software on additional Worker Services computers to enable them to process Discovery Manager activities. You install Discovery Manager client software on end user computers. This thick client provides a user interface to perform discovery tasks based on the roles assigned to the user. For more information about using the client software or user roles, see the EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager User Guide. 12 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Introduction High availability You can provide a highly-available configuration for Discovery Manager as follows: Discovery Manager Web Services high availability on page 13 Discovery Manager activity processing high availability on page 14 Discovery Manager Web Services high availability Ports Temporary work directory size You can install the Discovery Manager Server software on two or more EMC SourceOne Web Services host computers and use a network load balancing using an appliance or software solution such as Microsoft Network Load Balancing Service (NLBS) to provide high availability. To ensure that the Web services are highly available for users of the client application: 1. Install Discovery Manager Server software on two or more SourceOne Email Management Worker Services/Web Services host computers. 2. Configure the load balancer to include these computers. 3. Specify the virtual host name for the load balancer when you install the Discovery Manager client software. Depending on the configuration, the following ports should be configured in the network load balancing appliance or solution: SSL (recommended) 443 Non-SSL 80 The export to PST functionality provided by Discovery Manager requires a large temporary work directory be available, depending on the configuration. For example, a Discovery Manager worker dedicated to only processing Discovery Manager activities can process four jobs with a maximum of 5 GB of data for each, and requires that this data be temporarily written to a work directory during processing. In this scenario, a location with at least 20 GB of free space would be required. Therefore, when specifying the work directory during Discovery Manager Server installation, ensure that a local directory with an appropriate amount of disk space specified. High availability 13

Introduction Discovery Manager activity processing high availability In combination with configuring load balancing of the Discovery Manager Web Service, you can enable additional workers to process Discovery Manager activities by installing Discovery Manager Worker software and enabling Discovery Manager processing on that computer as described in Configuring workers for Discovery Manager on page 51). Note: By installing Discovery Manager Server on more than one worker as part of the load balancing configuration, each computer can now process Discovery Manager activities as well. 14 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Introduction Accounts and permissions Configuring security for Discovery Manager includes: Controlling access to EMC SourceOne resources on page 15 SQL database installation permissions on page 15 Authorizing users on page 16 Establishing the initial user on page 16 Configuring Integrated Windows authentication on page 17 Configuring a User Principal Name for the service account on page 19 Providing a network share for exporting matter content on page 20 Controlling access to EMC SourceOne resources Discovery Manager utilizes the accounts and permissions model established when the EMC SourceOne Email Management product was installed. Refer to the EMC SourceOne Email Management Installation Guide for more information on the accounts and permissions used with EMC SourceOne. Note: The database permissions for the Discovery Manager database must be assigned after installing the database as described in Configure SQL permissions on page 32. SQL database installation permissions To successfully install or update the Discovery Manager databases, you must ensure that the installation account used to log in to the SQL Server host computer: Is a member of the local administrators group Has SQL sysadmin server role privileges By default in SQL Server 2005, the sysadmin role contains all members of the Windows BUILTIN\Administrators group and the local administrator's group. If the default configuration exists, and the installation account is a member of either of these groups, it already has the sysadmin role. In customer scenarios where this is not the case, you must temporarily establish the permissions described above. Accounts and permissions 15

Introduction The sysadmin role for the installation account is specifically needed to add system-level error codes in the sys.messages table and is not used for any other purpose. This permissions requirement is temporary, and is only needed until you complete all database installations or updates and verified success by reviewing the database installation log files. For security purposes, you can remove this installation account from the local administrators group and revoke the sysadmin role once installation or update of the databases is complete. Note: Procedures for updating existing Discovery Manager databases is provided in the product release notes. Authorizing users Discovery Manager performs all authentication and authorization based on Microsoft Windows authentication. The Discovery Manager client application disables or hides functions for which a user does not have permissions. Advantages include: Authorization information is stored in Microsoft SQL. Default and matter-specific roles are supported. Each user in Discovery Manager can have different global and matter-specific roles. Password information is not stored in Discovery Manager. Establishing the initial user At first run, an initial Discovery Manager user is created in the Discovery Manager database. This user is assigned the User Administrator role for Discovery Manager. This user can run the Discovery Manager client application on the Worker Services host computer, and begin to add users and assign roles. The procedure for configuring this initial user and the process for installing Discovery Manager client software is described in Client software installation process overview on page 39. 16 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Introduction Configuring Integrated Windows authentication Install Support Tools Command overview Run setspn command with the NetBIOS name Discovery Manager utilizes a Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 virtual directory (created when you install the Discovery Manager Server software) that is configured to use Integrated Windows authentication. To support this type of authentication, you must register the service principal name (SPN) for the EMC SourceOne service account under which the Discovery Manager Web service is running. You register the SPN by running the Setspn.exe utility as a domain administrator on a domain controller using the Windows Server 2003 Support Tools that are included on your Windows Server 2003 CD. To install the tools, double-click the Suptools.msi file in the Support/Tools folder. You must run the command twice: Using the NetBIOS name of each host computer on which you intend to install Discovery Manager Server software Using the fully-qualified domain name (FQDN) of the host computer on which you intend to install Discovery Manager Server software Details on the Setspn command are provided in the following Microsoft Knowledgebase article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/871179 Run the Setspn command using the NetBIOS name of the host computer on which you intend to install the Discovery Manager Server software: 1. Click Start > Run and type cmd. 2. At the prompt, type the setspn command with the following parameters: setspn -a http/host_netbios_name "domain_name\es1_service_account" where: host_netbios_name NetBIOS name of the host computer on which you intend to install the Discovery Manager Server software domain_name Domain in which the host computer resides Accounts and permissions 17

Introduction ES1_service_account EMC SourceOne service account under which EMC SourceOne and Discovery Manager are run For example, if you type the following command: setspn -a http/es1_worker01 "emc\es1 Service" The following result is displayed: Registering ServicePrincipalNames for CN=ES1 Service,CN=Users,DC=emc,DC=com http/es1worker01 Updated object Run setspn command with FQDN Propagating changes to other domain controllers You must also type the Setspn command using the fully-qualified domain name of the host computer on which you intend to install the Discovery Manager Server software. At the prompt, type: setspn -a http/host_fqdn "domain_name\es1_service_account" where: host_fqdn Fully-qualified domain name of the host computer on which you intend to install the Discovery Manager Server software domain_name Domain in which the host computer resides ES1_service_account EMC SourceOne service account under which EMC SourceOne and Discovery Manager are run For example, if you type the following command: setspn -a http/es1worker01.emc.com "emc\es1 Service" The following result is displayed Registering ServicePrincipalNames for CN=ES1 SERVICE,CN=Users,DC=emc,DC=com http/es1worker01.emc.com Updated object In environments with multiple domain controllers, you should anticipate a reasonable period of time for the changes made on this domain controllers to propagate to the other domain controllers before installing Discovery Manager software. 18 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Introduction Configuring a User Principal Name for the service account The EMC SourceOne service account under which the Discovery Manager Web service is running must have a User Principal Name (UPN). Note: This is in addition to the Service Principal Name (SPN) you configure as described in Configuring Integrated Windows authentication on page 17. The UPN is composed of the user logon name and the UPN suffix joined by the @ sign. Ensure the service account has a UPN by modifying the properties for the service account using Active Directory Users and Computers. For details, see the following Microsoft KB article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc739093(ws.10).aspx Once you establish a UPN for the service account, you can verify it in Active Directory Users and Computers: 1. If the User Logon Name column is not visible, add it by selecting View > Add Columns. 2. Ensure that the User Login Name column includes the UPN (e.g., es1service@qagsxpdc.com as shown in Figure 2 on page 19). Figure 2 User Principal Name example Accounts and permissions 19

Introduction Note: Refer to the EMC SourceOne Email Management Installation Guide for additional information about the EMC SourceOne service account. Providing a network share for exporting matter content You should establish a network share and grant appropriate permissions to Discovery Manager users for use when exporting matter content. Communicate the share location to the users. The users will provide a UNC path to the share when exporting matter content as described in the EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager User Guide. 20 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

3 Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager This chapter contains the following topics: Introduction... 44 Setting permissions on EMC SourceOne mapped folders... 46 Creating Legal Hold folders for Discovery Manager... 48 Configuring workers for Discovery Manager... 51 Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager 43

Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager Introduction After installation of EMC SourceOne and Discovery Manager, the Discovery Manager administrator works with the EMC Source One administrator to perform initial configuration, configuration changes, and troubleshooting. EMC SourceOne administrator tasks The EMC SourceOne administrator: Maintains the EMC SourceOne mapped business folders that Discovery Manager searches. (A mapped business folder is an EMC SourceOne folder that is associated with (or mapped to) an archive folder). Creates Legal Hold folders for Discovery Manager matters. Sets permissions on the EMC SourceOne mapped business folders and Legal Hold folders so the EMC SourceOne primary service account can access them. Controls which Worker Services computers can process Discovery Manager jobs. Can observe Discovery Manager jobs executing in the EMC SourceOne console. The job name indicates the type of work the job is doing (such as search or export). Refer to the EMC SourceOne Email Management Administration Guide for information about monitoring jobs. Cannot run the Discovery Manager application unless he has been added as a user by the Discovery Manager administrator. 44 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager Configuration checklist Before users can use Discovery Manager, the EMC SourceOne Administrator must complete the tasks in the following checklist. Table 12 Checklist: Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager Configuration task 1 Set Read All permission on all EMC SourceOne mapped business folders that Discovery Manager will be searching. 2 Create the Legal Hold folders for Discovery Manager to use. 3 Allow Worker Services computers to run Discovery Manager jobs. Refer to Setting permissions on EMC SourceOne mapped folders on page 46 Creating Legal Hold folders for Discovery Manager on page 48 Configuring workers for Discovery Manager on page 51 Introduction 45

Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager Setting permissions on EMC SourceOne mapped folders Before Discovery Manager users can search archives, the EMC SourceOne administrator must set Read All permission on the EMC SourceOne mapped business folders that are mapped to those archives. Only the EMC SourceOne primary service account needs Read All access to EMC SourceOne mapped business folders. Individual Discovery Manager users do not need permission to access the mapped business folders. EMC SourceOne mapped business folders that do not have Read All access granted to the EMC SourceOne primary service account will not be seen in Discovery Manager. To set Read All permission on an EMC SourceOne mapped business folder: 1. In the EMC SourceOne console, click the Mapped Folders node. 2. Do one of the following steps: If the mapped business folder already exists, select the folder, then select Action > Properties. If you need to create a mapped business folder, refer to the "Creating and associating mapped folders" section in the "Configuring Mapped Folders" chapter of the EMC SourceOne Email Management Administration Guide. 3. On the Permissions tab of the Folder Properties dialog box, or the Permissions page of the New Folder wizard: a. In the Select user from field, select Active Directory. b. Click Add. c. Select the EMC SourceOne primary service account from Active Directory. d. In the Group or user names list, select the EMC SourceOne primary service account. e. In the Permissions list, select the Read All permission. 46 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager Creating Legal Hold folders for Discovery Manager This section include the following topics: What is a Legal Hold folder? on page 48 How do you create Legal Hold folders? on page 48 Shared Legal Hold folders on page 50 What is a Legal Hold folder? Discovery Manager copies messages to the Legal Hold folder associated with the matter.. A Legal Hold folder: Ensures preservation of valuable content for the lifetime of a matter. Allows companies to execute disposition policies while preserving sensitive data beyond the original retention period. How do you create Legal Hold folders?! The EMC SourceOne administrator performs the following steps to create each Legal Hold folder: 1. Create an archive folder in an EMC SourceOne Native Archive or a Retention Services archive. To create an archive folder in the Native Archive, refer to the "Configuring Archives" chapter in the EMC SourceOne Email Management Administration Guide. IMPORTANT Do not configure retention on a Native Archive folder that will be mapped to a Legal Hold folder. To create an archive folder in the Retention Services archive, refer to the EMC SourceOne Retention Services documentation. Note the following considerations: In Retention Services archive only, Retention Policy Services (RPS) can be used to manage retention and disposition. For full-text searching within a matter, you must enable full-text indexing using Documentum Administrator on an archive folder that will be used as a Legal Hold folder. 48 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager 2. Using the EMC SourceOne console Mapped Folders node: a. Create a mapped business folder. b. Assign the folder type of Legal Hold to the new mapped business folder. c. Map the new Legal Hold folder to the archive folder that you created in Step 1. d. Assign the Administrator and Read All permission to the EMC SourceOne primary service account. Note: The EMC SourceOne primary service account requires Administrator and Read All permission to be able to write and delete items in the Legal Hold folder. Refer to the "Creating and associating mapped folders" section in the "Configuring Mapped Folders" chapter of the EMC SourceOne Email Management Administration Guide. Best practices for Legal Hold folders Native Archive Retention Services archive This section provides best practice recommendations for Legal Hold folders used with Discovery Manager. For the Native Archive: Create one or more archive folders for exclusive use by Legal Hold folders. Do not set retention on Native Archive folders that are used by Legal Hold folders. You can map multiple Legal Hold folders to the same archive folder. Do not map Legal Hold folders to an archive folder that is mapped to any other type of folder, due to the potential for a retention policy to trigger the disposition of items that are on hold. Do not map other types of folders to an archive folder that is mapped to Legal Hold folders. For the Retention Services archive, refer to the EMC SourceOne Retention Services documentation. Creating Legal Hold folders for Discovery Manager 49

Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager Shared Legal Hold folders Matter subfolders Matter deletion De-duplication Reference counting Count of messages in shared hold folders Example Multiple matters can use a single Legal Hold folder. Subfolders are automatically created for each matter in a shared Legal Hold folder. Each matter s subfolder inherits the retention policy from the shared parent Legal Hold folder. When the matter is deleted, all items assigned to the matter are deleted. Items in a shared folder are not deleted finally until no matter refers to them. All items are de-duplicated within the Native Archive folder. Items are reference-counted. Deletion only removes the reference to the item, not the item itself. An item is deleted only when the last reference is deleted. The EMC SourceOne Email Management console displays the total of all messages for all matters in a shared hold folder. The console does not display information about individual matters in a shared hold folder. Discovery Manager shows the number of messages in a specific matter in a shared hold folder, not the total number of messages in a shared hold folder. To see the total number of messages in a shared hold folder in Discovery Manager, perform a search on the shared hold folder. For example, assume you create Matter 1 and Matter 2, and both matters share the same hold folder (Legal Hold - Stocks). Also assume that only Matter1 and Matter 2 share this hold folder. You collect and assign only UserA s messages to Matter1 for a count of 500 messages, and collect and assign only UserB s messages to Matter2 for a count of 300 messages. Discovery Manager shows the counts for each matter separately (500 and 300 respectively). The EMC SourceOne Email Management console shows 800 messages total for the shared Legal Hold - Stocks folder. 50 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Configuring EMC SourceOne for Discovery Manager Configuring workers for Discovery Manager Before Discovery Manager users can search and export, the EMC SourceOne administrator must configure the EMC SourceOne Worker Services computer on which the Discovery Manager Server software was installed.! IMPORTANT You must install either the Discovery Manager Server software, or the Discovery Manager Worker Services software, on the computer before allowing it to process jobs. Otherwise, the jobs will fail. To configure an EMC SourceOne Worker Services computer to process Discovery Manager jobs: 1. In the EMC SourceOne console, click the Servers node. 2. Click the Configuration tab. 3. Select the computer in the list. 4. Select Action > Properties. 5. In the Server Properties dialog box, select the following checkboxes: Query Discovery Manager Allows this computer to process jobs that are created when a Discovery Manager user performs a search in Discovery Manager. Export Discovery Manager Allows this computer to process jobs that are created when a user copies messages to a Legal Hold folder in Discovery Manager, or exports messages from Discovery Manager. Job and polling time limits To change the job limit or the polling time limit, refer to the "Configuring Worker Servers" chapter in the EMC SourceOne Email Management Administration Guide. 4 Performing a Backup of Discovery Manager This chapter describes how to perform a backup of a Discovery Manager system, and is organized as follows: Overview of the backup and restore process... 54 Discovery Manager behavior during the backup process... 55 Backup procedures... 56 Performing a Backup of Discovery Manager 53

Performing a Backup of Discovery Manager Overview of the backup and restore process Discovery Manager relies on the EMC SourceOne system to function. Because of this, backup and restore of Discovery Manager must be coordinated with the backup and restore of the EMC SourceOne system. The following is the ordered procedure for performing a backup of Discovery Manager: 1. If not previously installed, install and configure the Discovery Manager scripts for performing a backup as described in Installing and configuring the Discovery Manager backup scripts on page 56. 2. Suspend the operation of Discovery Manager as described in Suspending Discovery Manager on page 58. 3. Suspend the EMC SourceOne system as described in the EMC SourceOne Email Management Administration Guide. 4. Perform a backup of Discovery Manager as described in Performing the Discovery Manager backup on page 59. 5. Perform a backup of the EMC SourceOne system as described in the EMC SourceOne Email Management Administration Guide. 6. Once the EMC SourceOne backup has completed, resume the operation of the EMC SourceOne system as described in the EMC SourceOne Email Management Administration Guide. 7. Once the Discovery Manager backup has completed, and the EMC SourceOne system has resumed operation, resume the operation of Discovery Manager as described in Resuming operation of Discovery Manager on page 59. 8. Verify the operation of Discovery Manager after it has resumed operation as described in Verifying operation of Discovery Manager after backup on page 60. 54 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Performing a Backup of Discovery Manager Discovery Manager behavior during the backup process While Discovery Manager and EMC SourceOne are suspended and being backed up, the following changes in behavior will occur for Discovery Manager: All jobs created by Discovery Manager will be suspended. The jobs will maintain their state without any failure or loss of data when they resume after the backup is complete. Scheduled Discovery Manager jobs may expire during the backup if their schedule causes them to expire while the backup is taking place. Discovery Manager behavior during the backup process 55

Performing a Backup of Discovery Manager Backup procedures This section describes the backup procedures, including: Installing and configuring the Discovery Manager backup scripts on page 56 Suspending Discovery Manager on page 58 Performing the Discovery Manager backup on page 59 Resuming operation of Discovery Manager on page 59 Verifying operation of Discovery Manager after backup on page 60 Installing and configuring the Discovery Manager backup scripts In order to perform a backup of Discovery Manager, you need to install the backup scripts and configure the account that will be used to run those scripts as described in the following sections: Installing the backup scripts on page 56 Modifying the scripts for your environment on page 57 Configuring the account to run the backup scripts on page 58 Installing the backup scripts Table 13 Scripts are used to suspend and resume Discovery Manager as part of the backup process. Before you can use them, you must copy the scripts from the Discovery Manager kit to the computer on which you will run them. The scripts are located on the Discovery Manager kit in the \Utility\Backup folder and named as described in Table 13 on page 56. Discovery Manager backup scripts File PauseDMWebService.vbs ResumeDMWebService.vbs Description Suspends all Discovery Manager activity prior to backup Resumes all Discovery Manager activity that was previously paused. 56 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide

Performing a Backup of Discovery Manager Modifying the scripts for your environment These scripts are provided as Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript) source files. You use the cscript command to run these scripts from the command line. These scripts must be modified before use and can be integrated into existing backup procedures. The scripts do not use command line parameters, so any changes to the scripts must be made by editing the scripts. You must modify the backup scripts to insert the names of the Discovery Manager computers in your environment before you use them. Modify both the PauseDMWebService.vbs and ResumeDMWebService.vbs scripts as follows: 1. Open each script in a text editor. 2. Locate the string localhost in the script. This string only occurs once in each file. This string is in the following line in each file: DmWS.mssoapinit "http://localhost/discoverymanager/exdiscoverycollectorservice.asmx?wsdl" 3. Replace localhost with the name of the computer on which the Discovery Manager Server software is installed. For example, if your Discovery Manager Server computer is named Dmserver, this string would appear as follows: DmWS.mssoapinit "http://dmserver/discoverymanager/exdiscoverycollectorservice.asmx?wsdl" 4. Locate the string sql2005 in the script. This string only occurs once in each file. The sql2005 string is in the following line of the PauseDMWebService.vbs file: wshshell.run "sc \\sql2005 pause DCWorkerService", 6, True The sql2005 string is in the following line of the ResumeDMWebService.vbs file: wshshell.run "sc \\sql2005 continue DCWorkerService", 6, True 5. Replace the sql2005 string with the name of the computer on which the Discovery Manager Server software is installed. Backup procedures 57

Performing a Backup of Discovery Manager For example, if your Discovery Manager Server computer is named DMserver, this string would appear as follows in the PauseDMWebService.vbs file: wshshell.run "sc \\DMserver pause DCWorkerService", 6, True 6. Save the changes to both scripts and exit the text editor. Configuring the account to run the backup scripts The account that will used to run the backup scripts must be configured for that purpose as follows: Assign the Backup Operator role to the administrative account that will be used to run the backup scripts as part of the Discovery Manager backup. Refer to the EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager User Guide for information on assigning Discovery Manager roles to accounts. Verify that the account under which the scripts will be run has the appropriate privileges to start and stop services. This is necessary since the scripts make use of the Windows SC command to start and stop services. Suspending Discovery Manager Discovery Manager operations must be suspended before you can perform a backup of Discovery Manager. You suspend (pause) Discovery Manager as follows: 1. Log in to a computer with network access to Discovery Manager using the account you configured as described in Configuring the account to run the backup scripts on page 58. 2. Open a command prompt window by selecting Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt from the Start menu. The cmd.exe window displays. 3. In the cmd.exe window, use the cscript command to run the PauseDMWebService.vbs script to pause all Discovery Manager operations: C:\> cscript PauseDMWebService.vbs 4. Review the output of the script to determine when the script is successful: C:\> cscript PauseDMWebService.vbs Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Service 5.6 58 EMC SourceOne Discovery Manager Version 6.5 Installation and Administration Guide
