Part A: Download and install the Auto-Update Platform 3

Description The Auto-Update Platform is a software that will automatically connect to the Cub website in order to download the latest Sensor-Aid and/or Cub OBD II Module firmware versions. It also gives you the option to manually update the firmware versions (you will have to download the firmware update files from the Cub website beforehand). Important notes: For using the automatic update option, your PC will need to be connected to the internet. In order to be able to update the firmware of your Sensor-Aid Tool(s) and OBD II Module(s), you will have to register your Sensor-Aids Serial Number(s) in the Cub website first. 4

Step 1 Please go to http://cubautoparts.com/tpms-en.php and go to the Member login section link in the upper right corner. 5

Step 1 (continued) Write your User Name (E-mail address you used when you registered), Password and caption and click on Login. 6

Step 1 (continued) If the caption is not clear enough, simply click on it and a new caption will automatically appear for you to enter in the input bar next to it. 7

Step 2 Once logged in, go to the Download section and select Software Download. 8

Step 3 Select the file called Auto Update V1.4 (87 MB/exe). 9

Step 4 The program file will start to download. Please wait for some minutes. Once downloaded, unzip the file and double click on Setup.exe. The program will start installing, please wait until it finishes. 10

Step 5 Once the installation is completed, the icon below will be shown on your desktop. Double-click on it. 11

Step 6 The Auto-Update Platform has been successfully installed. The current version looks like this: 12

Step 7 You can select the language of your preference in the menu at the lower right. 13

Part B: Update the Sensor- Aid/OBDII Module Firmware 14

B.1: Tool Automatic Update 15

Step 1 Make sure your computer is connected to the internet. This will be indicated by the green light in the Network Status. 16

Step 2 Make sure you select the Auto option for automatic programming. 17

Step 3 Connect your Sensor-Aid to the PC via USB cable and turn it on. The Auto-Update Platform will detect the Serial Number of the tool. Note: Please make sure you are using a tool whose Serial Number has previously been registered in the Cub website, otherwise you will not be able to update it. The latest available firmware update version in the Cub Website will be displayed under File Location. 18

Step 4 Click on Update. The Auto-Update Platform will immediately start updating your tool to the latest firmware version available on the Cub website. 19

Step 5 The Progress bar will indicate the updating progress. You can stop the process at any time by clicking on Stop. 20

Step 6 When the update is finished, the Update Status will show successful. The tool screen will also display a message confirming the successful update and asking you to disconnect it. Please disconnect your tool from the PC. 21

Step 6 (continued) When you unplug the Sensor-Aid from the PC, this message will appear on its screen. Please wait a moment. 22

Step 6 (continued) Finally, the tool will be turned off and a red light at Low Batt will automatically be turned on for a few seconds and then off. This is a confirmation that the whole firmware update process has been completed successfully. 23

B.2: OBD II Module Automatic Update 24

Step 1 Make sure your computer is connected to the internet and that you have selected the Auto option. Connect the Cub OBD II Module to the PC via the USB cable. The latest OBD II version available on the Cub website will be shown under Version. 25
