Connect the micro USB end of the charging cable to the Micro USB charging port (5) and the standard USB end to a PC USB port or USB mains charger 2. The LED indicator (4) will be red whilst charging, and blue when battery is full Note: The first charge may take up to 2 hours to complete. Battery information A rechargeable battery powers your device. Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the device when not in use If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. We recommend a full charge twice a month to ensure battery integrity Please do not leave the device in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in summer or winter conditions, as it will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they may explode. Pairing a wireless device 1. Hold the MFB (1) down for 4 seconds. You will see the LED indicator (4) flash red and blue and then enter pairing mode 2. Turn on your ios, Android, or Windows device s Bluetooth ON and search for new devices 3. Select KSTRAIL from the list of found devices. If asked for a passcode, enter 0000 or 1234 and the earphones will then be connected to your device 4. After pairing successfully, the LED indicator (4) will flash blue every 3 seconds; you can then answer the phone or listen to your music 5. The next time you switch the earphones on, they will automatically search for and attempt to connect to the last paired device Note: Bluetooth is a trademark of Bluetooth SIG, Inc. Follow the Pairing a wireless device instructions from step 1 Functionality Power on Hold the MFB (1) down for 2 seconds Power off Hold the MFB (1) down for 4 seconds To answer a call Press the MFB (1) and immediately release To end call Press the MFB (1) and immediately release Redial Press the MFB (1) twice quickly to redial your most recent call Volume+ Press the Volume+/Next track (3) and immediately release Volume Press the Volume /Previous track (2) and immediately release Previous track Hold the Volume / Previous track (2) Next track Hold the Volume+/Next track (3) Play/Pause Press the MFB (1) and immediately release 4 5
Adjusting the earbuds 1. Make an s shape with the middle section of the wire 2. Slot two loops cable into two of the spaces in the supplied adjustable clips as shown 3. Put the earbuds on, and adjust the length to fit your head. Make sure there is a little slack so you can turn your head 4. Now take off your earbuds, and slot the cable into the last space of the adjustable clips Care for your Trail Please DON T: Get the Trail wet Drop the Trail as this will invalidate your warranty Open up the Trail. There are no user serviceable parts inside Expose the Trail to extreme temperatures or rapid changes of hot to cold or vice versa Charge the Trail if the headset has got wet 1. Check the earphones are within 10 metres (over 30 feet) of your device and that there are no obstructions (such as walls or other electronic devices) between the earphones and the device. The earphones can only pair to one device at a time, so please ensure there are no conflicting wireless devices trying to connect to the earphones If the earphones will not switch off, you can reset them back to normal by putting them on charge If you receive an intermittent signal, please ensure the earphones are fully charged before continuing use If you do not use the earphones for longer than 3 minutes whilst not connected to a device, they will automatically power off to conserve power We hope you ve now got all the information you need to get started, but if you re having problems with anything, please feel free to contact us at: support@kitsound.co.uk 8 9
