The UUT (Unit Under Test) must have successfully completed all steps in the ATP called out in the Test CID applicable to the unit. 2. Connect the rear ARINC connector on the ATP Test Cable to the AX250 rear ARINC Connector. 3. Connect the ATP test cable s ZIF connector to the Server Test Set. 4. Be prepared to connect the ATP cables power connections to the 28VDC Power supply when directed to apply UUT power per this procedure. 5. Connect the round maintenance connector on the test cable to the AX250 front maintenance connector. 150-043899 Rev A Page 3 of 10

6. Connect the VGA monitor to the VGA monitor connector that comes from the ARINC connector on the ATP Cable. 7. Connect the PS-2 Keyboard to the Keyboard connector that comes from the rear of the ARINC connector. 2.1.2 AVIOIP SOFTWARE LOAD PROCEDURE 1. The steps in this paragraph are done using the keyboard connected to the UUT. The results will show on the Video monitor connected to the UUT. 2. Be prepared to select the DELETE key after applying power to the AX250. 3. Apply power to the UUT. 4. Press DELETE to enter the BIOS setup utility. 5. Load the factory default BIOS settings. 6. Change the BIOS settings to that in 2.1.3 BIOS SETTINGS, column Settings for Loading. 7. Exit BIOS setup utility, saving the settings. The video display will sequence to a screen that says No bootable device available. R Reboot S Setup. 8. Now, connect the USB Flash Drive (PN: 79-10-011) to the USB connector that comes from the front maintenance connector. [The USB is not connected until this step, to get around a problem with some flash drives not being identified as boot devices.] 9. Press r to reboot the unit. 10. Wait for the prompt Do you want to install AvioIP 11. Select yes with the arrow 12. Press enter. It will take more than 40 minutes to complete the loading process. 13. Wait until INSTALLATION FINISHED appears. 14. Press Enter 150-043899 Rev A Page 4 of 10

15. Wait until Will now Halt. System halted. appears. 16. Power Off the target JetLAN 17. Remove the USB Flash drive. Apply power to the UUT. 18. Attach UUTs P9 Ethernet 3 cable directly to NIC 1 on the test PC. The NIC on the test PC should be configured to automatically obtain the IP address. It may be necessary to disable the Network Connection (NIC), then enable it, for the change to be affective. 19. Power-up the UUT. 20. Press DELETE to enter the BIOS setup utility. 21. Change the BIOS settings to that in 2.1.3 BIOS SETTINGS, column Settings for AvioIP. 22. Exit BIOS setup utility, saving the settings. Wait until the UUT boots up to the login screen. 23. Open a web browser (such as MS Internet Explorer, or Firefox). On the web browser address line, enter: http://192.168.1.1 then Enter. 24. The SATCOM1 web page, shown below, should appear. If the web page does not appear, then the software load has failed. 25. Select Skip Wizard repeatedly until a page with the About selection is available. 26.
