Junxure Code Upgrade Instructions If at any time you run into an issue with the following process, call or email Junxure Support (866-586-9873, opt 1 or support@junxure.com) and we will assist you with getting through that step. Step 1: Log On to the SQL Server as the Database Owner (dbo) Your SQL Server is the machine that hosts your Junxure database and has the SQL Server Management Studio installed. The database owner is most commonly a local server or domain administrator. Open SQL Server Management Studio and log in to the Junxure Database (SSMS). The naming convention commonly follows the example shown below but is unique to the environment. Step 2: Confirm all users are out of Junxure All users must be out of Junxure before the code update can be run. Please ask users not to login until the update is completed. Step 3: Verify if the Junxure Security Wizard was previously run To determine if the security wizard was previously run in your environment, navigate to [Server name\instance Name] > Security > Logins. Verify whether or not the JxAdmins and JxUsers Active Directory groups appear in this area. Note: The names of these groups are determined by your IT and may appear differently. You may verify the members of these groups via Windows Active Directory.

We recommend BeforeUpgrade[new Junxure version].bak as seen below for Junxure version 9.7.5. 4. Click OK on the Locate Database Files window to return to the Select Backup Destination window. The File Name field should now show the chosen folder location followed by the file name entered above. 5. Click OK on the Select Backup Destination window to return to the Back Up Database window.
