Overview This topic provides a step-by-step procedure for connecting to DiConnect Lite, setting up AS2/FTP server and client services, sending test files, and reviewing log files. In this article Prerequisites Logging On AS2 Server FTP Server Using Cloud Storage Services Using the Dashboard 1.1 System Requirements Ensure that your computer meets the minimum requirements described below prior to installing and using DiConnect Lite. Hardware Operating System Intel Pentium Processor at a speed of 2.4 GHz or equivalent AMD processor 2 GB of RAM 4 GB of available hard-disk space Internet connection Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Windows Server 2008/2008 R2 (32-bit, 64 bit). Software Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0 Microsoft SQL Server/Express 2008/2012 Internet Information Services 7.0 (IIS) Other Internet Explorer version 9 The computer must have a static IP address. If the computer is behind a firewall, appropriate IP addresses and ports must be open. Overview 4
1.2 Prerequisites Before using DiConnect Lite, you must first perform the tasks listed below. IMPORTANT NOTE You must have administrative privileges to perform these tasks. 1. Install DiConnect Lite (includes the built-in installation of Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0) 5. DiConnect Lite Operations 2.1 Logging On 1. Click on the DiConnect Lite shortcut to open the application in a web browser. The DiConnect Lite login page is displayed. 2. Type Username admin and Password 123, and then click the Login button. DiConnect Lite Operations 6
3. The TMP VAN Wizard window is displayed the first time you log on. Do one of the following: Select the Not a TMP VAN member yet option, and then click Next. Click Skip if you do not want to set up TMP membership. 4. On the TMP VAN Wizard window, fill out the required fields, and then click the Register button. The Confirm Page is displayed. 5. Next, click Yes if you would like to view the wizard next time, or click No. DiConnect Lite Operations 7
The DiConnect Lite Home page is displayed. 2.2 AS2 Server AS2 Server is used to receive documents from Trading Partners using the AS2 protocol. The procedure below provides a step-by-step procedure for configuring an AS2 Server. 2.2.1 Configuring the AS2 Server 1. In the Connections drop-down list on the left-side menu, select AS2. The AS2 main page is displayed. 2. In the Certificate Configuration section in the lower side of the window, click Generate Keyset in the Action drop-down list, and then click Proceed. The Generate Keyset window is displayed. DiConnect Lite Operations 9
3. Fill out the required fields on the form, and then click Create. NOTE The password for the private keyset must not contain the @ character. The Message from webpage is displayed. The Certificate Configuration section displays the new Keyset. 4. Next, click the Start button to start AS2 services. The AS2 Service status messages are displayed. DiConnect Lite Operations 10
5. To verify that the service for AS2 has started, go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services, and then scroll down to the DiConnectLite AS2 Server service. The Status column will display Running. 2.2.2 Checking the AS2 Server Connection In Internet Explorer, type the HTTP/HTTPS URL in the Address bar. If the AS2 servers are running, the following page is displayed: DiConnect Lite Operations 11
2.2.3 Configuring Local AS2 Services 1. In the left-side menu, select Scheduler. The Scheduler: AS2 Client Service window is displayed. 2. Next, do one of the following: Click the Auto Send check box to send files immediately, and then click Apply. Click the Schedule On Send check box, select the schedule options, and then click Apply. 2.2.4 Adding an AS2 Connection 1. On the tab bar, click the Add Connection button. The Add Connection window is displayed. 2. In the Protocol Type drop-down list, select AS2, and then click OK. DiConnect Lite Operations 13
The AS2 Configuration form is displayed. 3. Fill out the AS2 Configuration form, and then click Apply. 4. In the Certificates Configuration section in the lower side of the window, click Import Certificate in the Action drop-down list, and then click Proceed. DiConnect Lite Operations 14
The Import Certificate window is displayed. 5. Click the button to browse for the AS2 certificate file, and then click Import. 2.2.4.1 Send a Test File 1. In the Certificates Configuration section in the lower side of the window, click the Send Test File button to test the configured AS2 connection. 2. 3. Save a file in the [Data Location]\Outgoing folder to send out or use the Ad-Hoc Execution tool. a. On the tab bar, click the Send/Receive button. b. Next, click the Send Ad Hoc Execution Request button. DiConnect Lite Operations 16
2.3 FTP Server FTP Server is used to receive documents from Trading Partners using the FTP protocol. Follow the procedure below to configure an FTP Server. In the Connections drop-down list on the left-side menu, select FTP. The FTP main page is displayed. DiConnect Lite Operations 17
2.3.1 Configuring Local FTP Services In the left-side menu, select Scheduler. The Scheduler: FTP Client Service window is displayed. DiConnect Lite Operations 18
2.3.2 Adding an FTP Connection 1. On the tab bar, click the Add Connection button. The Add Connection window is displayed. 2. In the Protocol Type drop-down list, select FTP, and then click OK. DiConnect Lite Operations 19
The FTP Configuration form is displayed. 3. Fill out the FTP Configuration form, and then click Apply. 4. After you configure the FTP account, in the Certificate Set section in the lower side of the window, click Import Certificate in the Action drop-down list, and then click Proceed. The Import Certificate window is displayed. 5. Click the button to browse for the FTP certificate file, and then click Import. 2.3.2.1 Send a Test File 1. In the Connection Configuration section, click the Send Test File button to test the configured FTP connection. 2. Next, switch to the Logs tab to view the results in detail. 3. Save a file in the [Data Location]\Outgoing folder to send out or use the Ad-Hoc Execution tool. NOTE Received files are saved in the [Data Location]\Incoming folder. a. 2.3.3 Viewing FTP Transaction Logs Click the FTP link under Transaction Logs in the left-side menu. 2.4 Using Cloud Storage Services 1. On the Tools menu, select the Cloud Storage Backup option. DiConnect Lite Operations 23
2. On the Select Cloud Provider window, select Dropbox and then click Next. 3. On the Cloud Dropbox Login window, click Go to start the Cloud authentication process in a new window. The DiConnect-Dropbox window is displayed. DiConnect Lite Operations 24
4. Type your user name (email address) and password, and then click Sign in. 5. On the app DiConnectFullAccess window, click Allow. 6. Once the authentication process is finished, the Cloud Dropbox Login window for DiConnect Lite is displayed again. 7. Click Next. DiConnect Lite Operations 25
The Cloud Storage Security window is displayed. 8. On the Backup Folder List, click Next. 9. On the Cloud Storage Detail window, click Save. DiConnect Lite Operations 26
10. On the Cloud Storage Configuration window, review the information from the wizard. 11. You can use cloud storage services now by saving a file in the local folder (to test PUT) or the cloud storage folder (to test GET). DiConnect Lite Operations 27
2.5 Using the Dashboard 1. Click on the Home button to view the DiConnect Lite Dashboard. 2. Click on the number of transaction files to view the transaction logs. DiConnect Lite Operations 28
