ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING 5 STEPS, PLEASE REFERENCE THE BELOW DIAGRAM. Step 1: Take a Metal Plate Stand and connect it to the Greenery Section without a letter on one end and a letter A on the other end. The side without a letter should be placed down onto the stand. Step 2: Locate the Greenery Section with a letter A on one end and a letter B on the other end. Take the side with the letter A and connect it to to the matching letter A. Where the sections meet, there are 2 sets of nuts and screws. The nuts and screws are already in the holes, so you will need to screw them apart, insert the Greenery Section, then fasten the nuts and screws back. Step 3-4: Continue the process from Step 2 by matching up sections B to B, C to C, and D to D. Step 5: Take the other Metal Plate Stand and connect it to the Greenery Section with a D on the end. Step 6: Your arch is pre-lit with 380 miniature incandescent lights. Where each Greenery Section meets, there is a light set connection which has to be made. Starting on the left hand side of the arch, locate the male plug from the 1 st section and connect it to the female plug from the 2 nd section until you have worked your way around the whole arch. Take the last male plug from the 5 th section and insert it into a 120V wall outlet or into a U.L. approved extension cord or power strip (not included). NOTE: There are extra bulbs enclosed. If a bulb goes out, replace it in a timely manner, as it will lengthen the life of your light sets. Female Plug Male Plug STORAGE 1. Unplug the arch from the power source in your home or office. 2. Be sure to unplug the light set cords between sections. 3. Remove any ornaments and decorations that were added by you and did not come with the arch. 4. Disassemble the sections from one another. Continue until all sections, including the stands, are separated. 5. Place all the parts back into the storage box. When packing up the arch, please ensure that there is no undue strain or stress on the light sets so as to ensure they do not get cut, frayed, or damaged. The box will help prevent the arch from being damaged should it get bumped in your garage, basement, or other storage location. Tape the box shut to keep out any dust or insects. 6. Be sure to store the arch in a cool, dry area away from sunlight to ensure your arch will be ready for next season. Exposing your arch to excessive heat or humidity may damage your arch. DO NOT STORE ARCH IN A DAMP AREA OR IN AN AREA WHERE THE TEMPERATURE EXCEEDS 100ºF. DO NOT STORE THE CARTON UPRIGHT ON ITS SHORT END. STORE THE CARTON FLAT. CARE INSTRUCTIONS Dust gently using a soft cloth or fabric duster. Do not use any chemicals or solvents to clean. Handle light strings gently. Do not pull or tug light strings as this may inadvertently loosen the bulbs. TROUBLESHOOTING FOR LIGHTS If your lights are not working properly, following are some troubleshooting steps to try: 1. Check that the light set plugs are properly connected to your home or office wall outlet or other power source. 2. Check that there is power to the wall outlet or power source. 3. Check that all the plugs within the arch are securely connected and positioned correctly. 4. Check for loose bulbs or poor contacts in bulb sockets. Follow along the non-working light set and ensure each bulb is seated firmly inside each socket with its tab securely locked. DO NOT TWIST BULBS. 5. Look for any broken, burned out, or missing bulbs and replace as needed. 6. Replace non-working, missing, or broken bulbs as soon as discovered to avoid reducing the longevity of the light set. Not replacing bulbs promptly will cause too much voltage to go to the remaining lit bulbs. 7. Replace only with bulbs that came with the product or recommended by the manufacturer. Spare bulbs were included with your purchase. To Remove a Bulb: Undo bulb locking tab located on one side of the socket. Gently grasp the plastic base of the bulb. Do not pull on the glass bulb section. Pull up and out from socket. To Replace a Bulb: Align base of bulb and locking tab to socket. Push in until firmly seated. Lock tab securely. DO NOT TWIST BULB. Locking Tab 8. If none of the lights are working, check the fuse in the light set plug. If the fuse is blown (usually has darkened glass), replace the blown fuse by following the steps in the following diagram. There are spare fuses included for easy replacement. To Remove a Fuse: Gently slide the plug cover open. Lift blown fuse out of the socket. To Replace a Fuse: Place the new fuse into empty socket. Gently close cover.
