New Qnet Options New Collapsible Skin for your Sub Category site. Enhanced search capabilities. Pay Per Download feature allows images or files to be purchased on Qnet. Item Properties feature allows restricting items by user. Item detail can list both related items and accessories. In-Revision option allows uploading an image that identifies the item as in revision. Download options added to e-quantum.

Note: The e-quantum CD is required for the new enhancements. After you convert your data you will need to edit Qnet Configuration to enable the Qnet catalogs. You will need to export your data to Qnet before you can enable the new Collapsible skin.

A new Catalogs tab in Internet Configuration sets the system default for catalog availability, name and display order on new collapsible skin. You must save the catalogs tab after updating your program and converting your data. From the main menu of e-quantum, go to Qnet > Q-Net Maintenance > Internet Configuration. Enable catalogs in this system setting. The catalogs can be arranged in any order by using the up and down arrows. The All Clients checkbox allows upload to Qnet. the catalog to Punchout catalogs can be assigned a default product group and vendor. Cfg. Only catalogs do not display on Qnet the settings are used to default the product group and vendor.

The catalog availability and name can be overridden at the client level. The Catalog Titles button has been removed from the Qnet tab. A Catalog tab has been added to Qnet Configuration. Edit option allows overriding of the allow/suppress of the catalog by client. Change the display order and the name of the catalog by client.

The Override Default checkbox allows customizing catalogs by client. Highlight the catalog, select the edit option to select availability and rename the catalog. Use the up and down arrows to arrange the catalog order. Availability option enables or suppresses the catalog. Customize name checkbox enables the field to enter the catalog name.

After you have installed the CD, converted your data and enabled your catalogs in Qnet Configuration you will to export all of your clients to Qnet. This will update your Qnet sites to the latest version of Qnet and enable the new Collapsible Category option in Distributor Login.

New Collapsible View Uses the Sub Category tree to display three levels of categories. All catalogs available to user are displayed on the same page for easy navigation. Enhanced catalog search will search all levels in the catalog. Improved alignment of images and text. New Entry View has been added. New dropdown option for Results Per Page. Apparel ordering grid has been added.

Change your Sub Category View to the new collapsible view. Sub Category View Collapsible View

Sub Category View: Upper levels of categories suppressed when subcategory selected. User navigated to previous categories by using bread crumbs. Required user to return to the welcome page to select a different catalog.

New Collapsible view: Opens the tree for the catalog chosen on the welcome screen. Displays additional catalogs, user does not have to return to welcome screen to navigate to additional catalogs. Customize the colors and fonts. Enhance search features. New ordering grid for apparel. Customization allows for background colors, mouse-over colors, font size/type/weight.

Collapsible View Displays the category the user is currently viewing. Down arrows indicate the category and sub category are expanded. Right arrow indicates the category is collapsed. Additional catalogs display, the user does not have to return to the welcome page to select a different catalog.

New look for the Grid view The new Collapsible view allows your user to expand and contract the categories. Additional Catalogs display allowing the user easy access. Enhanced alignment of text and images. Column/Row settings in Sub Category Setup calculates the total number of items displayed. User s screen size will determine the number of items displayed horizontally.

New look for the List view List view has been updated with the new modern look and feel. Last view selected will display next time the user logs in.

New Quick Entry View This new view allows users to input multiple quantities of different items into the cart from one entry screen. Data entry style page allows quick entry of the order and user has the ability to view item details by clicking on the description link. The displayed items per page depends on the Sub Category setup of rows and columns.

Apparel Grid The new apparel ordering grid allows entering combinations of attributes all on one page. Set up the size and color combinations in item maintenance. Note: Only the first two attributes are used for the grid view. User can use the original dropdown entry option for ordering one item or click the Use Price Matrix option to add multiple quantities. Click the Use price matrix to show the grid. The user can enter multiple attribute combinations.

The View Cart button allows user to proceed to the shopping cart to display all items in the cart or the Close option allows user to continue shopping. When selections are added to the shopping cart a window displays verifying ordered quantities.

Improved Search Improved search allows searching all the categories in the selected catalog. Searches for the item in the ID, keywords, short and long description fields. Searching in the United Stationers or SP Richards Catalogs will display a suggested item list.

Step 1: Select the item Step 2: Click the search icon Items meeting the search criteria will display. Narrow the search by selecting one of the categories.

When the items in a category exceed the items per page calculation a new Results per page option displays. Dropdown allows user to increase the display of items per page.

Changing to the Collapsible Skin Update e-quantum program. The new e-quantum programs must be loaded before the collapsible option is activated in Distributor Setup. Select the Catalogs. A Catalog tab has been added to Qnet Configuration. The catalogs that are to be displayed on Qnet must be enabled. The order of the catalogs displayed on the welcome page is determined by the order of the catalogs in the Catalogs tab. Export to Qnet. Export all of your Qnet clients to Qnet. Enable Collapsible View. Before setting a site as Collapsible, the site must be set up as Sub Category. The collapsible view uses the category tree to display the categories. In Distributor Login select the client that is to be displayed with the collapsible categories. The system has defaults for colors, fonts and expand/collapse images. These settings can be customized for each client.

Customize the Collapsible View Configuration settings allows you to customize the look. The Collapsible View can be enabled by client and by cost center. Enable the Collapsible Skin Access to the Collapsible Categories is available after updating e-quantum programs and exporting to Qnet. Select the collapsible view by client or a cost center of a client. Overrides to the QNet defaults for the colors, fonts, expand/collapse image and padding allow customizing the look and feel of your Qnet site by client.

Qnet User Administration: Catalogs can now be enabled/disabled at the user level. In User Administration a Catalogs tab has been added to the user record. The General Catalog Options section is the catalog options that have been moved from the Programs tab. The Detail Options section is used to enable/disable catalogs for the user and displays the order the catalogs will display when the user goes to view the item list. The display order is arranged in e-quantum in Qnet System Defaults and can be overridden by Client. This lower section is only for Collapsible skin

New Pay Per Download feature With the purchase of Digital Asset Manager you can allow users to purchase files online. Limit the number of days the download is valid Limit the number of times a file can be downloaded Set the default vendor on the Generate tab.

The item displays on Qnet as a standard item. The user places the item in the shopping cart to purchase. The file and the thumbnail is set in Digital Asset Manager. The item setup determines the price, the amount of downloads allowed and the number of days the link is valid. The download link prints on the order confirmation. Purchased downloads can be viewed and saved by using the link on the order confirmation.

Item Properties Item Properties can be used in e-quantum as a range selections on reports. On QuantumNet the property can be used to restrict items by user. Three Type options: String - allows entry of text. Drop Down - allows selection of values. Yes/No Checkbox allows checkbox selection of yes or no. Create the item property in Inventory> Maintenance> Inventory Configuration

The system default can be overridden by client. Set the Property option to be Used, Not Used or used as a Restriction. Assign the property to an item in Item Maintenance on the new Property tab.

Item properties used as restrictions will display on the Properties tab in user setup. Select the property values available for the user. Multiple values can be selected by holding the control key while selecting the values.

Related Items and Accessories The Section Title allows personalizing the list per item. Enter the heading that will display before the list of items. Related Items are items that are similar such as copier paper that may be offered in multiple colors. Accessories are items that are used with the item such as power cords or cables.

Select the source for the Related Item or Accessory Vendor Catalog Item: Choose to display an item from a vendor catalog - SP Richards or United Stationers e-quantum Catalog Item: Choose to display an item from item maintenance. Client option allows using item from a another client. Same As e-quantum Item: Displays same items listed in another e- Quantum item. Eliminates maintaining the same list in two items.

In-Revision Option The In Revision option allows item flagged as in revision to display on Qnet with an alternate image. The alternate image replaces the item s image on the catalog. Item detail page displays the item s image as the alternate image. When the revised item is available, the flag can be removed from the item. The In Revision graphic is replaced with the item s image.

In-Revision Defaults The default setting in Qnet Configuration defines which image to use for items that are flagged as In Revision. Options for the Short, Long and View Cart descriptions are: Prefix text the item description is preceded by the text in the In Revision Note text area. Append text - the item description is followed by the text in the In Revision Note text area. Ignore text the In Revision note text is shaded out. The item description is not altered. The magnifying glass button allows viewing the selected image. The browse button allows searching for the image that will be used as the item image for the Inrevision item.

New Preview Options Tab Automatically download order clicking View Internet Orders will download new orders without prompting. Manually download order use new download button to import orders. Prompt for download prompt window displays before downloading.
