V/A Black Ground - Brown + 12VDC 12V DC 1.2 W Red Audio In Connect the wires of the audio input device to GND - (Pin 1) and AUDIO.IN (Pin 3). Orange Audio Out Connect the wires of the audio output device to GND (Pin 1) and AUDIO.OUT (Pin 4). - Uses an NPN transistor with the emitter connected Yellow Digital Output 1 to the GND pin. If used with an external relay, a diode must be connected in parallel with the load 100 ma 24V for protection against voltage transients. Hardware installation 1) Loosen the tamper-proof screws using supplied L-type hex key wrench and remove the dome cover. Be careful not to scratch the dome cover. 2) You may feed the cables through the upper conduit hole or the side conduit hole. Please use the supplied blind pug to seal the unused conduit hole. 3) Side conduit hole installation: Disassemble the cable gland first and feed the network and I/O cable through the sealing nut, claw and cable gland. Connect the cables to the camera. Attach the cable gland to the conduit hole. Push the claw into the cable gland and tighten the sealing nut to secure the cables. B. Wall and ceiling mounting 1) Attach the alignment sticker to the wall/ceiling. Drill three holes into the wall - two for screws and one for cable. 2) Align the screw holes on the plastic base to the two plastic anchors on the wall/ceiling, insert the supplied screws to the hole and secure them. 3) Secure the camera to the plastic plate with the screws (M2.5x6 * 2pcs) 4

C. Wall mounting with L-type bracket (optional) 1) Drill two holes and hammer the supplied screw anchors on the desired installation location. 2) Align L-type bracket to the two plastic anchors on the wall/ceiling, insert the supplied screws to the corresponding hole and secure them. 3) Secure the plastic plate to the L-type bracket with screws (M4x10 * 2pcs) 4) Secure the camera to the plastic plate with screws(m2.5x6 * 2pcs) 6
D. Outdoor wall mount kit with L-type bracket (optional) 1) Drill two holes and hammer the supplied screw anchors on the desired installation location. 2) Align L-type bracket to the two plastic anchors on the wall/ceiling, insert the supplied screws to the corresponding hole and secure them. 3) Assemble the silicone rubber and outdoor kit together. 4) Put O-ring on the screws (M4x10); secure the outdoor kit to L-Type bracket. 5) Secure the camera to the plastic plate with screws(m2.5x6 * 2pcs) 6) Paste the waterproof-tape at microphone hole on the top cover. Conduit Conduit Note: Once waterproof sticker is pasted on top cover for outdoor used, microphone reception will be affected. 7
E. Connect all cables E1. Without Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection 1. Connect the power adaptor to the IP Camera. 2. Use a standard RJ-45 network cable and connect the IP Camera to a hub/switch/router. E2. Power over Ethernet (PoE) 1. Use a standard RJ-45 network cable and connect the IP Camera to a PoE-enabled hub/switch/router. F. To adjust the view angle- 3 axis mechanism design 1) Turn the lens module right and left to your desired pan position. 2) Turn the lens module up and down to your desired tilt position. 3) Turn the lens module to adjust the image orientation to satisfied angle. 8
Important: Make sure the IR LEDs are not blocked by the housing as it will affect the IR performance. If the image is upside down, please use the image rotate function in Video Setting. G. Completion Fix the tamper-proof screws using supplied special hex. Be careful do not scratch the cover glass. Clean the dome bubble to remove the dust and finger print. Windows: Go to Zavio Website and download Camera Installation Tool Please go http://www.zavio.com/softwaredownloads.php download Camera Installation Tool. And follow the installation process to complete the installation. 9
Access the IP Camera using Camera Installation Tool 1. Please check two settings before using Camera Installation Tool. a. Browser s Internet Properties Secu rity Default Level b. Browser s Internet Properties Privacy Uncheck Pop-up Blocker 10
2. Click the Camera Installation Tool Icon on your desktop. The main page will show up listing all active camera and video server devices. Select the desired IP cameras from the list and click Link to IE. 3. Enter Username and Password to login to the IP Camera. (Default is admin / admin) 11
4. When accessing the IP Camera for the first time, a yellow information bar appears below the address bar: This website wants to install the following add-on: AxvideoView.cab from Zavio Inc. 5. Click the information bar, and select Install ActiveX control. 6. Click Install 12
7. Live video will display in the center of your web browser. MAC OS using Safari Browser 1. Select Safari Icon 2. Click Bonjour function and select the camera you wish to access. 13
3. Enter name and password to login to the IP camera (Default is admin / admin) 4. Live video will display in the center of your web browser. 14
Lighting environment setting Default setting for lighting environment is Auto. You may change exposure frequency to 50 or 60 Hz at Setting > Live View > Camera Setting > Image Setting. Change the Web Interface into your preferred language Before accessing the Setting page to change the language of the web interface, you must download the language pack. 1. Go to http://www.zavio.com/downloads.php and download the language pack corresponding to your IP camera model. 2. Go to the IP camera setting page and upload the preferred language from the language pack downloaded from step 1. Setting > System > Maintenance > Language > Upload 3. Once the upload is complete, the browser will automatically change the language. 15
