LAYOUT REQUIREMENTS LAYOUT REQUIREMENTS all iles must be provided in eps or pdf format. If the ile is provided in eps format, a preview in jpg format must be attached. resolution of at least 300 dpi and maximum 450 dpi for color and grayscale raster images; if the layout is in eps, all fonts must be converted to curves; be sure to install symmetric bleed equal to 5 mm; all layouts must be provided with CMYK color model; all signi icant elements should be placed at least 5 mm inward from the cut line; to get a deep black color on solids, we recommended using the full triad C30.M20.Y20.K100 in addition to black; minimum allowable size of the font: 5 pt; ine print up to 9 pt and ine lines up to 1 pt must consist of no more than one process color; line thickness must be at least 0.25 pt, minimum thickness of negative lines (reversing): 1 pt; if you print reversing text using monochrome solids, the font size must be at least 6 pt; if you use four-color images, it must be at least 9 pt. In eps and ai iles, the external images must be embedded rather than linked. Eps and ai iles must not use special effects, such as lens an effect is anything except ill and outline, including transparency and gradients all effects must be rasterized and all fonts must be converted to curves. No third-party plugins are allowed. Note: we work only with PC platform, so the layouts produced on Mac platform are accepted only in PDF. Accepted iles Archive formats: zip, rar, or sit. Do not use EXE iles. Use only Latin letters in ile names (!), do not use superscripts. You can use FTP servers for sharing large iles.
