You can access your files anywhere using any computer, phones etc. Any file you save to Dropbox also instantly saves to your computer, phones, and the Dropbox Website. You will also be able to share your files your family as well as friends. Dropbox Features: Dropbox provides 2GB of space for free and with subscriptions up to 100GB of space is available. Files are available and can be accessed from anywhere in a secure manner. Dropbox supports Windows, Mac, Linux, ipad, iphone, Android and BlackBerry. Dropbox lets you share files and folders with friends, family or teammates. Dropbox Apps are available for iphone, ipad, Android and Blackberry. Dropbox keeps a month of history of your work Minimum Requirements: At least 512MB of RAM Free space on your computer equal to your Dropbox storage quota. All your files can be accessed on your home directory on DropBox once you are logged in. Click to open a File or Folder. Download Dropbox to your Computer (Dropbox application can be downloaded to your computer to access your Dropbox files from the desktop itself) To Download Dropbox application: Go to: https://www.dropbox.com/ Login to Dropbox. Click on get Started on the left sidebar.. Click on Install DropBox on your computer. Save the file. Open the downloaded file. Follow the instructions and complete the installation. To Create a Folder: From the list of Tabs right to DropBox,Click on the New Folder icon To Upload a File: Click on the Upload icon at the right of the DropBox logo. Download Files / Folders To download an individual file / Folder: Right Click the File Or Folder. Click Download File / Download Folder. Save the file to your computer. Share a folder from the Dropbox website Share a folder or invite more people to one you've already shared. 1. Sign in to the Dropbox website. 2. Go to your list of files and folders and select the folder you want to share by clicking on the empty space to the right of the folder's name. (Clicking on the folder name or icon will open the folder instead.) 3. If the folder is currently unshared, click Invite to folder in the toolbar: Click Invite to folder to share a folder the first time. You can also invite people to folders from the Sharing page. To create a new shared folder, click the New shared folder button at the top of the page. To invite more people to an existing shared folder, find it in the list and click its Options link. -You can share a single file in the Dropbox by sending links to the files. -Right click on the file you want to share then click on Share link. Copy the URL in the address bar generated by your web browser. You can share the link by email or paste it in a webpage or a file. Share numerous files: To share a number of files, you need to create a folder and move the files to the folder. Finally, you will be able to share the folder that contains the files. To delete numerous Files / Folders: Select the Files / Folders you wish to delete holding the Ctrl key on windows or Command key using a Mac then right clicks and click Delete. Restore Deleted Items Dropbox stores a backup of the deleted files for 30 days. If you accidentally delete or upload a wrong version you can restore your file. To restore your files / Folders: Go to the icon tabs next to DropBox and then click on the restore files icon. Then, you will be displayed your deleted files. To restore any file. To Restore to Previous Version: Find the file you wish to restore. -Right Click the File.(You should see a drop-down list of options) then Click Previous Versions. It displays a list of versions with its modification types. Select the version of the file you wish to restore then click on the restore button.
