ShadowImage replicates from 1 to N, where N is the maximum supported number of L1 pairs for the storage system. 11g RAC database cloning via ShadowImage/HTI/CoW snapshot. Oracle 12c standalone database cloning via ShadowImage/HTI/CoW snapshot. Oracle 12c RAC database cloning via ShadowImage/HTI/CoW snapshot. Database cloning via staging server. DB cloning on RHEL6.5, RHEL 6.6, OEL 6.5 and OEL 6.6x64 bit Operating Systems. Schedule cloning jobs using OEM console. Cloning of Oracle database configured on virtual machines and cloned to a virtual target. Known Issues Remote Replication is not supported for this release. Storage cloning is only by ShadowImage technology. Snapshot/HTI are not supported. This release of Oracle Enterprise Manager Database cloning does not support OEM job support. But still it holds the OEM in its name. It will be supported in in a future release. 6
HUVM support is not available in this version of Hitachi Adapter for Oracle Enterprise Manager - Database Cloning. Because ASM supports 2TB disk, 60TB LUN support is not available with VSP Gx00 storage systems. RAC DB cloning, DB cloning from node1 to node,1 is supported. Add the instance to node2 server manually. When ODC cloning fails and you wish to rerun the script, use Storage Navigator manually to delete the replication pair, delete the LUN paths, and delete the LDEVs. When ODC cloning completes successfully, and you wish to rerun the script, use Storage Navigator manually to delete the replication pair, delete the LUN paths, and delete the LDEV. During the Discovery script, if any of the LUNs are unable to open or if any of the LUNs return non-zero exit codes for page80 info, then the adapter script fails. Debug the LUN issue and re-run the script.
