The Foundation for a Wireless World.

Welcome to Crown Castle Wireless service has become an inseparable part of our lives. We text, post, stream video, and get directions expecting to do so anywhere, yet rarely thinking about what it takes to deliver that service.

As the nation s largest provider of wireless infrastructure, Crown Castle works closely with wireless carriers, communities, governments, public safety agencies, M2M businesses, and property owners to provide access to the wireless infrastructure we all rely on every day. Today, access to technology and information is no longer a luxury. It s a necessity.

How we do it. As demand for wireless connectivity continues to increase, coverage and capacity must quickly expand to ensure that wireless users continue to receive the service they expect. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. That s why we use an all-of-the-above strategy that combines towers, small cell solutions (SCS), and rooftop antennas to enable proper coverage and capacity. On all our infrastructure, we follow a shared model. Allowing multiple carriers at every site is the most efficient way to expand coverage to more customers while giving wireless carriers equal access to every market. It costs less than building and owning infrastructure allowing for a better allocation of capital and a stronger focus on core business needs. Towers Cell towers are the most familiar infrastructure type. They are best for situations where you need to cover a large geographic area with relatively few obstructions such as mountains or large buildings. There are a variety of different types of towers. The primary difference is in their range of heights, which along with the amount of available spectrum affects how far they can transmit. All are used for voice and data, but the tallest can also be used for other services, like television and radio. In urban areas, antennas placed on the tops of buildings can serve the same function as towers. We manage and provide site services to approximately 40,000 cell towers comprising approximately 91,000 installations.* Further, we have a key presence in all the major markets in the US, with approximately 71% of our towers located in the top 100 markets. Small cell solutions In situations where towers aren t feasible, or where dense crowds

National reach Towers Small Cell Solutions necessitate more capacity than a tower can deliver, we deploy an SCS network. Each network consists of small nodes that are placed close to the ground often on streetlights or utility poles. They re ideal for increasing capacity in places like urban centers, universities, stadiums, and theme parks. *as of 8/15/15 We ve been working with SCS for nearly 15 years and have approximately 15,000 deployed nodes and 16,000 miles of installed fiber making us the industry leader.* Our fiber networks can accommodate continually growing capacity needs, due to their near limitless capacity.

Why Crown Castle? Wireless infrastructure is our core business it s been that way since we began in 1994. Today, we re listed on the NYSE and the S&P 500, and have established ourselves as a REIT (real estate investment trust). And we don t just own and lease our infrastructure, we also offer comprehensive site development services. Speed to market We are constantly adding new infrastructure to our portfolio, so expanding coverage is quick and easy. Scalable solutions Because we design, build, and maintain infrastructure, we can help to seamlessly increase data capacity. Experienced people We are staffed with seasoned professionals, many of whom have over 10 years of experience in the industry. Nationwide reach Our mix of towers, small cell solutions (SCS), and rooftops gives us an unparalleled network footprint in the areas users need it most. CCIsites TM Our patented, industry-leading analysis and site location tool gives you comprehensive data on more than 200,000 Crown Castle and non Crown Castle assets throughout the US. Network Operations Center (NOC) Our fully staffed, state-of-the-art NOC operates 24/7, so we can manage who is on our sites, monitor what s going on, and if problems arise respond quickly. Dedicated local expertise We have offices nearby with professionals who understand your local community and its wireless coverage needs. Customer satisfaction We are the industry leaders in customer satisfaction based on speed, responsiveness, and tools.
