Installation& Activation Installation Steps Step 1: Check Permissions Make sure the ''app'' directories of your Magento and all directories inside it have full written permissions or set permissions on the each directory equal to 777 or 0777. Important! Change all permissions back after installation. Read more about permission at http://www.magentocommerce.com/wiki/magento_filesystem_permissions Step 2: Disable Compilation Login to Magento Admin Panel and go to System Tools Compilation and disable the compilation. After step5 you can run the compilation process again. Step 3: Upload Files Upload all folders from the extension package to the installation directory of your Magento software using an FTP client. Step 4: Clear Cache Go to System Cache Management. Clear the store cache. Step 5: Re-login Logout and log back into Magento Admin Panel. In the left column you will see the new tab Biztech Extensions. Extension Activation Step1: Copy an activation key Copy the activation key from the Order Confirmation Email. OR Login into your account at www.appjetty.com website using the e-mail and password that you provided at checkout process. Go to Downloadable Options and copy the activation key for the Biztech Advance Product File Upload extension. Step2: Activate an extension Login to Magento Admin Panel and go to System Configuration Biztech Extensions / Fileuploader and enter the activation key in the ''Activation Key'' field for the Fileuploader extension then click the Save Config. www.appjetty.com 3
Step 3: Select Websites When you enter and save the key it will be verified on our server and you can select the websites where you need to use the Advance Product File Upload extension. Click the ''Save Config'' button after making your selections. You are now ready to use the Advance Product File Upload extension. www.appjetty.com 4
Configuration Please follow the below steps to enable Advance Product File Upload extension. Go to system -> configuration. In the left column you will see the tab Biztech Extensions -> Fileuploader. Enabled: Select "Yes" to enable the Fileuploader extension. The extension is disabled by default. Default Title: Default File Uploader Title can be set here. This title will display in frontend, if no title is added in the product level. Open Uploads in New Tab: Allows opening in the new window or current window. Enable Share: Allows sharing file in Google Document viewer. Allowed File Types: Option to allow file types to be uploaded by the file uploader can be managed by entering file types in comma separated format. For e.g. pdf, jpeg, doc, docx. Please follow the below steps to upload files on product level. Go to Catalog -> Manage Products. Click to edit any product from the Grid or create a new one by clicking on Add Product button. In the left column you will see the tab Fileuploader. o Title: Add Title to the downloads block o Label: Set label for the file o Description: Set description for the file o File: select file you which you wants to upload o Position: Set position for the file/link. Please follow the below steps to upload files globally. Global Fileupload: It allows you to assign one uploaded file to multiple products. Go to Biztech Fileuploader -> Manage Global Fileupload. File Information: o Title: Add Title to the downloads block o Label: Set label for the file o Description: Set description for the file o File: Select file you which you want to upload o Position: Set position for the file/link. According to defined position files will be displayed on frontend Products: Select one or more products. Uploaded file will be assigned to selected product(s). www.appjetty.com 6
Bulk CSV Import: It allows you to upload multiple files to multiple products Go to Biztech Fileuploader -> Bulk CSV Import. o Upload CSV File to Import: Browse and select the CSV. o Upload Zip File for Downloadable Files: Create and upload zip file, which should contain all the files that you want to upload. (Note: Please make sure, that while creating the zip, you just select files you want to be uploaded, and generate zip. Please don t create a folder and then generate a zip of that folder.) Click on Upload button to after selection of the csv and zip file. Click on Start button to import the file. Quick Notes For Bulk CSV Import you should define name of the file/link which you wants to upload and assigned file should be available in the zip file. Use sample.csv and Archive.zip for Bulk CSV Import which is provided by us. If you are not able to download or view the uploaded files on frontend, then please set 777 permission to the media folder, and all other folders under it, in the root directory of your Magento Installation. www.appjetty.com 7
