Equipment and materials used shall be standard components that are manufactured and available for purchase as standard replacement parts as long as the product is commercially available from the manufacturer. B. All manufactured products shall include, at no additional cost, phone and technical support services. 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE A. All manufactured products shall be thoroughly tested and proven in actual use. B. The manufacturer shall repair or replace without charge, manufactured products proven defective in material or workmanship for the stated warranty period from the date of shipment. 1.3 CERTIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS A. The ServerSwitch Network Video Recorder (NVR) shall meet the following emissions standards: ICES-003, Issue 5: 2012, EMC Directive 2004/108/EC, EN 55022:2010 EN61000-3- 2: 2006 + A1: 2009 + A2: 2009, EN 61000-3-3: 2008, CFR 47/FCC Part 15 Sub. B. (Class A), CISPR22. B. The NVR shall meet the following immunity standards: EMC Directive 2004/108/EC, EN 55024:2010, EN 61000-4-2, EN 61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, EN 61000-4-11. C. The NVR shall meet the following safety standards: IEC 60950-1:2005/A1:2009, EN 60950-1:2006/A11:2009 / A1:2010 /A12:2011 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No.60950-1-07/UL60950-1. D. The NVR shall meet the following network standards 1. IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at (PoE: Power over Ethernet) 2. IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u (Fast Ethernet) 3. IEEE 802.3X Flow Control 4. IPv4 (RFC 791) 5. IPv6 E. All NVR units shall be labeled with the UL logo and file number on each product. The manufacturer and the product shall be listed in the UL Online Certifications Directory (http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/xyv/template/lisext/1frame/index.html) 1.4 WARRANTY A. 1.5 COUNTRY OF ORIGIN A. The manufacturer of the NVR shall certify that their products qualify as originating goods for the purposes of preferential tariff treatment under the NAFTA and the products qualify as Made in the USA. 2 PART 2 PRODUCTS 2.1 NETWORK VIDEO RECORDER (NVR) HARDWARE A. The NVR shall support one of the following operating systems: 1. Windows Embedded Standard 7, 64-bit operating system 2. Windows Server Standard 2012 R2 3. Linux Ubuntu C. The NVR shall include a 2.5 SATA Solid State Drive (SSD) to host the operating system and video management software. D. The SSD shall have a minimum capacity of 120GB. E. The NVR shall include a minimum of 8 GB and up to 16 GB of DDR3 RAM. F. The NVR shall support up to 24 TB of internal storage. G. The NVR internal storage shall support the following RAID configurations: RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and RAID 10. H. The NVR shall use video surveillance-rated hard drives for 24x7 recording operation. The NVR shall have an esata port to support a Direct Attached Storage device for additional video storage. K. L. The NVR shall provide a web-based hardware monitor tool to provide visibility to network port status. M. The NVR shall provide a web-based hardware monitor tool that toggles PoE on/off for each LAN port. N. The NVR shall include LED displays to indicate the disposition of power, PoE, network activity and disk drive activity. O. The NVR shall include one HDMI port. P. The NVR shall have (4) USB 2.0 ports and (2) USB 3.0 ports to support keyboard, mouse and thumb drive for firmware updates. 2.2 EMBEDDED MANAGED SWITCH A. The NVR shall include an embedded layer 2 PoE Managed Switch. B. The NVR Managed Switch shall include a high performance switch fabric with the following specifications: 1. A minimum of 2.75 Mbit non-blocking frame buffer 2. No less than 4K MAC address lookup table allowing up to 4K active nodes to be connected to the switch 3. Back-pressure and pause frame-based flow control to support zero packet loss under temporary traffic congestion C. The NVR Managed Switch shall include (16)10/100 Mbps LAN ports operating at full or halfduplex mode and at least (1) 10/100/1000 Mbps uplink port operating at full duplex mode. D. The NVR Managed Switch shall operate independently from the NVR CPU, allowing the switch to survive a CPU failure to continue network transmissions. H. The NVR shall include a VMS installation wizard that allows the installer to select and install supported VMS products. 2.4 NETWORK PORT SECURITY A. The NVR shall make available an Ethernet port lock utility. B. The Ethernet port lock utility shall scan all NVR PoE ports to identify attached devices and enable selection of specific devices to communicate on each PoE port as an authorized device. C. The Ethernet port lock shall prevent unselected or unauthorized devices from communicating through the PoE ports. 2.5 SYSTEM HEALTH MONITORING A. The NVR shall make available a cloud based health monitoring system that provides real-time status and alerts on the health of the NVR and its connected network cameras and security devices. B. The health monitor shall automatically deliver event notification by configurable SMS text and SMTP e-mail messaging. H. The health monitor shall provide a web-based user interface. I. Camera packet rates 2.6 ENCLOSURE A. The NVR enclosure shall be standard 1U rack-mountable. Overall dimensions shall be 16.77L x 17.5W x 1.75H. 2.7 POWER SOURCE A.
