EduCam360-B Camera Setup Panasonic WV-SF448 This document will take the reader through the process of setting up the EduCam360-B Camera for the first time. Setting up the VIEWpath streams will be covered in a separate document. This document assumes the reader knows how to set the IP address on their computer to static and DHCP address. Getting Started To complete this task you should have the following: EduCam360-B Setup Template (Excel File) o Including IP Address for the camera(s) and all network information EasyIPSetup.exe Computer running Internet Explorer 9 EduCam360-B Camera attached to the Network Locating the Camera on the Network 1. Locate EasyIPSetup.exe on your local computer 2. Double Click the exe file to launch the application NOTE: An alert warning may appear on the screen 3. Configuring the Camera Network Settings 4. Open the EduCam360-B Setup Template excel file for the job. 5. Locate the room where this camera will be assigned Column C 6. Open Internet Explorer 7. 17. Close all web browser windows. 18. Open a new instance of Internet Explorer, type in the static IP set in Step 16 Part B 19. Click the Setup button located in the left menu. 20. 21. Click the OK button Configuring DDNS 22. Click the Setup Tab in the left menu 23. Click the Network button in the left menu 24. Select the DDNS tab in the main body 25. Click the drop arrow in the DDNS field, select Dynamic DNS Update (DHCP) 26. Copy and paste the DDNS name in the Host name field from the spreadsheet. Column K 27. Verify Time display is set to 24h 31. Verify Daylight Savings is set correctly NOTE: Set to IN for states participating in Daylight Savings. Click the radio button next to Synchronization with NTP Server 47. Set NTP Server address setting to Manual 48. Copy and paste the Time Server address from the spreadsheet to the NTP server address (Column U) Time Server 49. Set Time adjustment interval to 1h 50. Set Time Zone to local area 51.
