Introduction 1 Introduction KEMP Technologies product documentation is categorized into various types of documents. Product Overview Documents Configuration Guides Feature Descriptions Deployment Guides Interface Descriptions Installation Guides Technical Notes Within reason, all of the documents within the documentation suite should fit into one of these documentation types. However, there may be exceptions to this rule. This document describes the various document types and also lists, with a brief description of, each of the available customer facing documents within the documentation suite. 1.1 Document Purpose The purpose of this document is to give the reader a high-level overview of the KEMP Technologies documentation suite. 1.2 Intended Audience This document is intended for use by anyone who s interested in learning about the KEMP Technologies documentation suite. Product Overview Documents 2 Product Overview Documents These documents offer a high-level view of KEMP products. These documents are typically not overly technical and could be suitable to introduce non-technical people to the KEMP Products. 2.1 Free LoadMaster The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of the Free LoadMaster product. 2.2 LoadMaster Release Notes For each new product release, this document describes new features or feature enhancements introduced and a list of the major issues resolved. This document also lists any known issues with the product. 2.3 GEO Release Notes For each new product release relating to GEO or the Global Server Load Balancer (GSLB) Feature Pack, this document describes new features or feature enhancements introduced and a list of the major issues resolved. This document also lists any known issues with the product. 2.4 KEMP Condor Condor is KEMP s multi-tenancy product. It is a product where multiple independent instances of the KEMP LoadMaster and GEO LoadMaster can operate. Each LoadMaster instance within the KEMP Condor can be deployed, stopped, started and updated at will. This document provides an overview of the KEMP Condor product and its features KEMP LoadMaster This document provides an overview of the KEMP LoadMaster product. Some of the basic configurations are outlined and details of all the major features are provided. 2.5 GEO This document provides an overview of both the standalone GEO LoadMaster and the Global Server Load Balancer (GSLB) Feature Pack. Details of all the major features are provided. 2.6 LM5305 FIPS This document is very similar to the KEMP LoadMaster Product Overview. The key difference is that this document outlines the LM5305 product which also incorporates the Federal Intrusion Prevention System (FIPS). 2.7 KEMP360 Central This document provides an overview of the KEMP360 Central product. 2.8 KEMP360 Central Release Notes This document describes the current KEMP360 Central release. Configuration Guides 3 Configuration Guides These documents describe how to configure the KEMP products using the Web User Interface (WUI). All the available configuration options and relevant notes regarding configuration are detailed. 3.1 KEMP Condor WUI Condor is KEMP s multi-tenancy product. It is a product where multiple independent instances of the KEMP LoadMaster and GEO LoadMaster can operate. Each LoadMaster instance within the KEMP Condor can be deployed, stopped, started and updated at will. This document describes each of the fields in the Condor Web User Interface (WUI). 3.2 LoadMaster WUI Configuration This document describes the WUI of the KEMP LoadMaster. It describes in detail how to configure the various features of the KEMP LoadMaster using the WUI. 3.3 LoadMaster WUI LM5305 FIPS Configuration This document is very similar to the WUI Interface Description document.
